this is a jewel. It reminded me of the best of San Francisco as far as B&B small hotels. Super clean and fabulously comfortable. I loved my stay !

A freshly remodeled small hotel in downtown Camas was a bargain and more. A quiet little hotel had such charm and hospitality it is on our to do list anytime we get near southern Washington State. Complimentary movie tickets came with our room and the recommended Italian restaurant down the street was wonderful....The complimentary breakfast was very good the next morning..

Hotel is in the middle of the cute little town, there is only street parking so you may have to park a block away. Railroad tracks one block away, the train went by at 8-10 times in the night with the train horn blowing waking us. No hairdryer in room but the desk clerk finally found one and brought it to the room.

We were so pleased with this "find". The owner was very concerned that we knew the level of room we were getting that she personally called us. It was very well appointed, though our room was small; it had everything we needed and was clean; which is extremely important to me. The bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back! Loved the lights on the street in Camas.

Loved the stay. The service was amazing. Downtown Camas is cute. Would stay again.

I think I got the bait and switch routine. Signed up for one room type private room with private bath and when I got to the hotel I was given a European room instead. I was told I could have a private room for more money. I refused and cancelled my reservation. My advice to anyone that stays there keep all copies of your paperwork not just the confrimation number.

The Owner was at the front desk, she was super helpful and amazing. This hotel is fabulously decorated and situated perfectly in the downtown area. They have a thing called first Friday which is obviously the first Friday of the month where the whole downtown stays open late and you can have some wine across the street from the hotel while looking at some interesting local art. I will be back to this hotel!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in, quaint and just homey feeling. I had a small room, so it was a bit cramped but everything was so good about it, it just didn't matter. Karen was fabulous.

Had an excellent stay. They kept the door open late for me and had fantastic "continental" breakfast. I'll be back.

The employees were so friendly. The rooms were small but lovely. The atrium area was perfect for relaxing with the newspaper. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant, which is closed now, so we had to find someplace else to dine.

Great hotel! Enjoyed our stay in this quaint little town. The only problem is that the hotel is NOT 2 miles from McMenimans Edgefield in Troutdale as stated. Maybe as the crow flies! But you must go to I-205 and then backtrack, about 30 minutes drive time. Very helpful and friendly staff!

This is a delightful hotel. It has small rooms but is very clean and the beds are so comfy. It is a list topper for it's historic charm and elegance.

The hotel is small but beautiful, it is very well kept and has a lot of character. The girls at the front desk were very friendly. When we checked in the girl was very nice and carried my mom's suitcase up the stairs. That would be the only negative is that there is no elevator, if anyone is not able bodied they would have difficulty with the stairs. Our room was cozy with a very comfortable bed and beautiful duvet. The toiletries they provided were lovely. Breakfast was very good. It's a good location, close to Portland and close to the Hood River area. Great value!

Absolutely beautiful hotel!!!!!! Comfy beds, great staff - this will be my hotel of choice when I visit the Pacific NW from this point going forward!!!!!!!!

It was a very quaint hotel in a part of town that reminded me of where I grew up. They do clean the streets at 5am

Perfect small town location within easy drive to Portland without the traffic and expense of the big city. Great neighborhood for walking to restaurants, movie theatre, coffee, and exercise. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the boutique hotel room, gourmet breakfasts and the helpful pleasant staff. We will book again at The Camas Hotel on our next visit.

After a 10 hour drive, this was an amazing respite!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the hotel and it's staff. The room was lovely and very clean, the staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful as were the local business owners. I'll be happy to return again!

We enjoyed staying at the Camas hotel.. The rooms had a lot of character. The only thing I didn't like was that you could hear and smell the paper mill at night. There were complimentary ear plugs in the hotel. The air conditioner was really loud too. The continental breakfast was decent - in a really neat "balcony" room. Service was very nice and friendly. I would had preferred a queen bed to a double but we booked this room 5 hours before staying in it! Bed was comfrotable though. Dedicated parking lot was a few blocks down the road.

Owners very outgoing and accommodating. Nicely remodeled and updated quaint hotel. In very pretty small town with nice atmosphere.

The reviews of this hotel made me select it as our choice when going to Portland. We wanted to stay outside of Portland to save a bit of money, we didn't think we loved the hotel and the town as much as we did. It's a little one street town but super cute... the hotel could be charging double what it does .. it's as nice, if not nicer than any Fairmount , or Marriot I've stayed at. Actually, we stayed in a Marriot hotel in Seattle two nights over paid double what we did at the Camas hotel and hated every minute of the experince.. hhahahah... Yes say here. The one neg comment i did see was about parking on Thusday due to street cleaning.. silly.. it's around the corner... Stay here.. its totally worth it!!

We had a great time and the staff was awesome. There is a great Italian restaurant down the street and they even offer movie tickets. I would stay there everytime I am in Vancouver.

The Camas Hotel was cozy and quaint but we could hear sounds and voices of other guests in the hotel. Also, the train tracks are nearby and the frequent trains blow their whistles as they go by. Service was friendly.

This hotel is very sweet. Only 20 minutes from the Portland Airport and yet tucked into a small atmospheric old town in Southern Washington on the Columbia Gorge. Very high quality beds, refrigerator in room, iron. The location allowed me to easily attend a function in Portland one day, and take a spectacular drive and hike the next day. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. My only small complaint is the breakfast offerings were pretty picked over one morning by the time I got there. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The room was very small but clean. Do not go to this hotel on a Thursday night because the parking is about a block away that night because of early morning street sweeping every Friday

Convenient - good breakfasts - timely service - no parking problems - would certainly return.
