Great place to stay. Good value for money. However it is at the south end of the beach. Should we return to Phuket we would stay there again.

Location is nice right in front of the beach. Great sun set view from hotel room. Pleasant room though the age of the facilities is starting to show, e.g. showerhead leaking.

We chose this as a spring board hotel but ended up staying 3 nights! It was away from the hustle and bustle and noise! Just a short walk to the main strip....and welcome relief! The staff were great! It may not have been the ritz but the price was ideal

Great location immediately across the street from the beach. Easy access to beachfront restaurants, shopping, etc.. 5-10 minute walk to Bangla Road. The room was very, very basic and the bed was very hard. Hotel staff were helpful with planning transportation and day trips.

Great ocean view from my room. I would have liked a room with a balcony but it was still a great view. However, sun light would come through the bottom windows and the shades were not long enough to cover it. Also, one of the shades was broken and was tied to a chair to keep it up. So I had to leave the side shade down the entire stay. Other than the window issues, it was a great room and hotel.

By huge great fortune this very nice hotel turned out to be at the quiet end of Patong Beach, though walking distance to most things. The beach is directly over the road, but the hotel pool got a lot of my time too. Very pleasant room, with a balcony overlooking the pool and across to the beach. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast in a lovely restaurant, either open air looking across to the beach, or inside if you prefer. Major problem with Patong for the solo traveller is that there is essentially no public transort between the beaches on the west coast of the island, as the "tuktuk mafia" control the place. This means that to visit another beach such as Karon or Kata (lovely!) you have to take a tuktuk there and back for 400baht each way. This makes such outings expensive on a refular basis. Similarly, to get to the Jungceylon shopping centre, it is about a 30 minute walk, which is a bit hot at times, and again, a tuktuk is the only option. OK if you are a group who can split the cost, I suppose, but it was just very annoying not to be able to hop on a bus.

Please be careful and book only suites in the so-called new/ suite wing. They are not exactly deluxe but at least remind of hotel rooms. The other wing is not an option. And please do not expect customer service. Staff make you feel as if you were staying at Faulty Towers...

we stayed there for 4 nights, and was a very good stay. although we stayed in the "old" building but it was very clean and well maintained. The location was very convenient you just need to cross the street and you are tanning on the beach, the employees were very friendly. the breakfast was not that good. but overall very good hotel to stay in

Enjoyed having the view of the beach and ocean from the room on the upper floor, and the location was great for visiting Patong at night and traveling south to the viewpoint during the day.

The hotel is lacking in maintenance. The TV viewing experience was poor.The number of channels, the quality of reception was extremely poor. Breakfast was not suitable for Vegetarian persons.The rates quoted by hotels for tours and excursions were exorbitant.

Very old hotel.needs update. Poor service. Staff spoke minimum English . Shower/tub was old and water pressure was terrible. Toilet was not working. Asked front desk for help but minimum help was offered. Minimum amenities

Nice clean resort, reception staff lovely and very helpful. We stayed in a Pool suite for 14 nights, it was extremely spacious and very clean inside.The first night was a bit of a shock as the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor, in the morning we went to the reception and told them and they organised an overlay... a bit different to the sleep number bedding advertised, however it did help a little!! The noise level through the night was terrible, continually being woken up by the never ending fire crackers going off on the beach and people walking home from the bars at all hours, we expected being away from the main party area for this to be much quieter. The pool is situated on the beach side of the hotel with continuous traffic and people walking past, so not the privacy we expected. The pool staff spent a lot of time at the pool trying to clean it but they did have trouble getting the levels right and the green off from the corners. Breakfast was fine, the usual varieties at a Thai buffet style breakfast, but was very shocked to see some staff filling their plates using their hands from the buffet early one morning, did turn us off having anything that we didn't see cooked in front of us! The location was about a 15 minute walk to Bangla Road and close to lots of shopping and market areas. All in all a great holiday but wouldn't stay at the Bliss again, purely from the noise aspect.

I stayed 3 nights with my 15 year old daughter great location walk to everything. Directly across from the beach south end of Patong, great views from balcony. Swam mostly in pool as beach not as clean at the south end, the pool was very clean there are 2 pools at the motel. Breakfast consisted of plenty of food choices, wifi was excellent. Rooms were cleaned daily. The restaurant was great to eat you don't have to go far for a great meal at a great price. Enjoyed our stay at The Bliss

The hotel was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. The location is great, being close to (but not right in the middle of) the bars and looking right out over the beach.

This is a great place to stay for a night or two. I was very happy with everything except that they need to work on their maintenance a bit more... The shower did not drain well at all, the shower head was not a good one and kept moving when the pressure kept going up and down, there was no full body mirror, only one in the bathroom and the lighting isn't the best. The staff is Awesome and go out of your way to help, the restaurant has really good food and friendly staff and pretty much everything other than the couple things I mention above were great. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 10 days. Friendly staff. great location. Good value for money. Across road from beach. Handy to the action but quiet end of beach. Good room with balcony over looking beach.

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was very friendly. There is a nice part to it, but obviously you have to pay more to stay there. For the price we paid for the room, it was very nice, clean and comfortable. The price for an extra bed is a little high but everything else was great. It is a little further away from all the craziness of Patong, which was nice if you don't really like all the crazies. It's right across from the beach, the breakfast was good, the people were nice and free wireless was fantastic. The two pools are a little small, but in the low season we had them to ourselves most of the time. Overall, I was very happy.

we enjoyed our stay at the Bliss although I expected more. The hotel is very close to the beach and our room had a lovely view.Unfortunately it rained during our stay and we spent most of our time indoors. The rooms are very small so when our boys came over the room was to small for the four of us. The television signal was so poor you could hardly watch anything. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was nice.

Great hotell. We liked stay here a lot with my husband. It is on the beach but not too close Bangla Rd and small shops. You have your own space. Pool isn't large but that doesn't matter because the beach is right there too. Patong beach is good for the kids but the water isn't clear. Breakfast was really good, something for everyone. We loved our room even it was in the old wing. We had a seaview and airconditioner worked well. Bed mattres was hard but we slept like a baby. You can go to the Freedom beach with longtailboats from here, awesome tropic beach to spend one day! Simon Cabaret is close and many restaurants, shops, small bars too. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

This resort was fantastic, we stayed in the old section which was clean, tidy and stylish so I can only imagine how wonderful the new section is. The staff were all so helpful, best service in all of the places we stayed across Thailand. Perfect location, across from the quieter end of the beach and two minute walk to shops, eating places etc. We only had one night at the end of our trip but if we stay in Phuket again it will be here. Thank you especially to the lovely staff including the bell boys, doormen etc., they were wonderful!

Great location, great rooms in high quality and friendly and well-spoken staff

I stayed in this hotel along with my wife between 20th & 23rd Jan 2012. The staff is good, rooms are clean & the hotel is situated at prime location. The rooms are big & airy. I would reccomend this to anyone who cannot afford a 5 star hotel.

I was concerned about some of the reviews that I had read...there are two wings to this hotel... I was in the good one for 4 nights. Awesome room, didn't a comfort select bed, which I believe was advertised but I had a comfortable bed so all was good. The room I had was a suite, big bathroom... the shower was clear with some obscured glass over some areas... still felt a little voyeuristic to take a shower, but I was in thailand so I didn't care too much... i wont be seeing the people that walked by for a peep any time soon. On the last day, we transferred to another room since we had a late flight... that room wasn't that great, but it didn't cost that much either. All and all, great place to stay...will do it again!

overall nice hotel for fanily. good staff, food is ok, location uis good . near by market, good family hotel.

Spent 3 Nights in The Bliss Suites, and definitely recommend others who are searching for a good romantic hotel in Phuket. Couple of points those who are searching for hotels: * Book in Bliss Suites. I haven't seen the basic rooms. * Book Deluxe suite room for Sea view. Superior suite rooms have trees in between. * Beach just across the road. So take a bath in the sea and go directly to the hotel. No need to dry out..:) * Superb pool. Not very deep but long enough to swim. * Breakfast - Good, till 10 O'clock. * Double size Jacuzzi (With glasses in bathroom for sunlight) * Check in,Check Out - No Hassle * Staff, Room service - excellent. * Taxi fare from airport : Around 460 Bhat (Including 100 Bhat airport surcharge) [Dec 2011 Price] * Walk able distance from the Patong night life.

Very friendly and helpful staffs. Convenient location. Good breakfast each morning! Good value overall.

Pros: CLose enough to the party street Banagalore where you can walk there...even after a long night of phuket craziness. Also far enough away where if you want some privacy it is still quiet. Hotel is clean and well kept and the bed and sheets are nice. I did find a large cockroach in my room one day though, i'm pretty sure that is part of having outdoor rooms and the tropical climate though. Cons: The beach outside the hotel is not the pristine beach you are used to seeing in the photos of like phi phi island. THe hotel will rip you off on tourist stuff so you have to shop around for attraction tickets or boat rides.

For me and my boyfriend's anniversary, we decided to just go to Phuket over the weekend. A very spur of the moment decision and just deciding right on to stay at the Bliss Hotel (simply because i saw from the web that it's so near to the beach), we didn't regret anything at all! Hats off to their staff (especially to Tony, Nan, James and others) who went out of their way to get us transpo, an island hopping tour, among others, on the last minute. Thanks to them we had a really really wonderful time! such great people! Definitely would recommend this hotel to our friends here in Singapore and in the Philippines. Looking forward to coming back!!! =)

Dette hotellet var flott :-) vi bodde på i suite i 4 etasje, flott utsikt over sjøen. Ble veldig imponert over størrelsen på rommet og egen jazzuci, herlig. Står ikke i beskrivelsen engang at det er med. Personalet var kjempeblide og servicevennlige. Hotellet ligger Rett ved stranden. Ikke den beste vi har opplevd i Patong, grommsete med sand som virvler opp. 15 min gange til shoppingsenteret. Eller ta Tuk Tuk, står rett utenfor hotellet, 200 bath.masse fine restauranter rett ved og langs stranden. Simon Cabaret er og anbefale. Et flott opphold må vi anbefale Bliss hotell.

Utmärkt hotel med bra personal

Ubehagelig mye mugg på rommet. Dårlig renhold. Forferdelig mye støy fra air-conditionanlegg som hadde trengt sevice. Vi var der i fjor også, og forfallet på 1 år var stort. Hotellet får pluss for beliggenhet til strand, men heller ikke mer.

Vi har bodd flere ganger på The Bliss og alltid hatt rom med pool. Store flotte og med god tilgjengelighet Deilige og store balkonger og næremere sjøen og stranden kommer du ikke i Patong. Hotellet ligger i en rolige enden av Patong, å får man heller oppsøke liv og røre men slipper unna når man skal sove Veldig nært strand og bygater enten man ønsker å gå strandpromenaden eller om man vil bevege seg opp mot handlegatene og markede. Frokosten er helt topp og det er nydelig mat på restauranten. Joda Bliss - vi sees igjen neste vår med våre tre rom. Uten tvil

Lige fra vi kommer ind i receptionen bliver vi kun mødt af flinke og hjælpsomme mennesker - det var kendetegnende hele ferien. Både i receptionen, restaurenten og alle øvrige personaler. Skøn morgenbuffet med alt hvad hjertet begærer:-). Perfekt beliggenhed - roligt og alligevel tæt på, hvor det sker;-). Kan kun anbefale The Bliss.

værelset meget slidt og trist, mange små insekter og en stor kakkelak. Måtte sove med vat i ørerene da der var meget støj fra vejen. Hotellet ligger godt i forhold til stranden og byen.

푸켓 파통비치의 메인 거리인 palong st.과는 거리가 좀 있음(도보 15분) 정실론까지도 도보로 25분 가량 소요됨. 스텐다드 룸에 머물렀는데 사진보다는 방이 작은 편이라 조금 아쉽고 욕실 상태가 조금 더 좋았으면 했음. 스텐다드는 그렇다는 이야기고 빌라형태의 상위 룸은 많이 좋아보였음. 아침 식사가 매우 만족스러워서 추천함. 호텔내 수영장이나 전용비치의 상태는 좋았음. 전반적으로 가격대 성능비는 양호한 편이나 거리가 조금 먼것이 아쉬움.

C'est un bel Hôtel mais malheureusement un peu vieux. La partie où on a dormi est vieille, construite il y a 20ans les vitrages ne sont pas adaptés au bruit extérieurs. La salle de bain est très petite et on ne peut rien déposé juste les brosses à dent. Pas assez de place pour poser ses affaires pour plusieurs jours. La partie supérieure est pratiquement neuve est n'a rien à voir avec le reste. Dommage que ce ne soit pas plus explicite dans les images et le détail.
