Metropolis Hotel - אתונה

We stayed here a night before an early flight out of Athens. The room was no-frills, but has working AC and a tv, a comfortable bed and was quiet. We had a shared bath, but never even saw anyone else there. It was very clean and comfortable. There are tons of restaurants and cafes around, and it's very convenient to the metro and airport bus. The Parliament is very nearby as well. There is a roof terrace, but we didn't make it up there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The location es good and save but the hotel is not even good for the price, noisy not clean enough and bad odors in the bathrooms.The beds are very unconfortable. On top of all that , they sold me a room for four and it is so unconfortable that two people could hardly stay inside the room. One full bed and one twin bed, is that for four adults? Since I did not like what I got they offered me an extra single room,of course we had to pay extra. Then, we had reservations for two nights in a row and two more after going to Santorini and the manager told us that when we came back there would be the same small room available for the 4 of us. So we had to look for another hotel for those two other nights and pay a lot for being last minute reservations.

perfect location+ tiny tiny bathroom , room sold for 4 people not fit for 4 one double one really small bed. not very comfortable. staff was really nice.

Very noisy during the night due to church bells and mopeds but the actual room v comfy. Staff helpful.

Perfect for a night or 2 in Athens before heading to the islands. We had a large balcony with a great view of the Acropolis.

Très bon emplacement: à deux pas du parlement et de l'acropole; rues commerçantes à proximité C'est vrai l'hôtel a été refait à neuf récemment; le personnel et le patron sont très accueillants et toujours prets à rendre service Attention néanmoins il n'y a plus de service de petits déjeuners .Celui-ci peut être pris au restaurant attenant à l'hôtel où les serveurs sont également très accueillants et où la cuisine est très bonne pour des tarifs très corrects par rapport à la concurrence - D'une manière générale la cuisine y est très bonne. Seul bémol, la chambre pour 4 personnes est un peu petite car il y a 2 lits doubles et peu de place pour les bagages

Très bien situé. Mais chambre minuscule et une douche qui inonde les toilettes. Stupide !

Très bon accueil, et localisation idéale. La chambre avec petit balcon avec vue sur l'Acropole. Petit plus: le petit déjeuner est servi en extéreur sur le toi avec vu sur l'acropole (c'est top)

私たちは２泊３日で滞在しました。 ホテルの場所は観光や食事などには便利でしたが、今後２度と利用したいとは思いません。その理由としてはホテルのサービス内容や設備の不十分さ、清潔感の無さです。部屋にトイレやシャワーはありましたが、清潔感に大変欠けるものでした。初日に部屋に行った際、浴室に誰かが使用したタオルが置いてあり、髪の毛の抜け毛がそのままの状態で落ちていました。そしてシャワーを浴びれば、カーテンをしていても大洪水でした。また電球が切れていたり、窓ガラスが割れている状態でした。 そして何よりも耐えられなかったことは、タオルの交換がないことでした。フロントへタオル交換を依頼すると、「ギリシャでは毎日タオルを替えていないから交換の必要はない。値段を安く抑えているのだから我慢してほしい。」との返答がありました。それに対して抗議を行い、どうにかこうにか新しいタオルをもらいました。 もう１つ耐えられなかったことはシーツ交換が毎日行われていなかったことです。初日にシーツに食べ物をこぼしましたが、交換はしてもらうことはありませんでした。 このような状態の部屋でしたので、部屋にいると気持ちが不愉快になり、睡眠をゆったりと取ることができず、毎日飲酒をして寝ていました。

This hotel is super handy for both Syntagma square and Monastiraki, so getting in and out is a breeze. It's not an overly comfortable hotel in that the decor is quite outdated, the room was small, and the bathroom shared, but for one night it's a winner. And there are loads of restaurants within just a few minutes' walk.

Très bel emplacement mais il faut impérativement demander une chambre en facade arrière si l'on veut dormir car la rue est bruillante ( passage des voitures sur plaque d'egout qui claque) et l'église juste en face sonne toutes les heures, c'est juste insupportable.

Tämä vaatimaton mutta siisti hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla Ateenan ytimessä Metropolikirkon vieressä ja kävelymatkan päässä Akropolis-kukkulasta, Plakan tavernoista ja pikkukaupoista. Ison kauppakatu naapurikorttelissa tarjoaa myös erinomaisen mahdollisuuden shoppailuun. Upea 5.kerroksen parvekkeemme avautui yli kaupungin ja edessämme komeili mahtava Akropolis. Edullinen ja runsas aamiainen tarjoiltiin vähän nukkavierulla kattoterassilla, mutta huhtikuun koleassakin aamussa se maistui.
