City Centre Budget Hotel - מלבורן

The hotel is conveniently located in the "Chinatown" area of Melbourne's CBD near trams, shops, restaurants, bars, cafe's, etc. It's clean, the staff are friendly and they offer FREE fast broadband for an unlimited number of wireless devices. They also have a public laundry and kitchen facility available as well as a nice open roof top lounge area. As long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom, then this place is perfect for the budget conscious.

Hotel is in ideal location. Away from busy end of the city so had no trouble sleeping regarding outside noise. Room was very clean and comfortable. For the price you could not get anything better. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying again!

The location was great and convenient, easy access to the free tourist bus shuttle and Chinatown at Bourke St. Also easy access to the most happening street in Melbourne, Swanston St. The only drawback is they don't clean the room very often and it's a shared toilet.

Great Place. Not hard to find wirh a map. Friendly staff, great location, good nights sleep!

(1)shocking parking arrangement. (2)Lost T.V channel's on Friday night couldn't be fix until tuesday after we Left. (3)For a hotel not to have a Breakfast Bar is un herd off in this day and age. (4)Had to have a single bed mattress on Floor for my Daughter to sleep on and they wouldn't reduce our payment for our room.I will never ever go Back to that Hotel again,and I would not recommend it to my Friend's. What a sad experience. Not even a rail to hang your towels over. Not a hair dryer, when I asked for one I got the terrible answer of "You are in a budget room, we do not supply hair dryers for the budget rooms. You van by one from us" If I knew that there would not be a hair dryer I would have taken one of the 6 I have at home. The website did not inform me about that. Is is also the first time that I stay in a hotel where they do not supply hair dryers. The shower was either burning hot of freezing cold. If you touch the cold tap it freezes and touch again you burn. Water was also only little stream. Carpets is filthy, bathroom is rundown and old. All that was good is the bedding were clean and the bed was OK. The provision of coffe and tea and cookies were also recommendable. Sorry, will never stay there again. Linda

No frills basic city centre hotel provides decent comfortable accommodation at a price you would pay for a hostel. Ideal location for exploring Melbourne CBD.

price need to be less expensive

It's my first time to live in a hostel, so I did not get used to the shared bathroom and toilet very well. For the price, it was ok. But narrow hallway and big mirrors on the wall were lil bit scary......i saw a few naked fat men along the way, and decided next time i'd better live in a hotel...

the location is nice - the stop of free tram is 2 min from the hotel. and you can go by feet til city center also within 20 min approx. I had a single room and quite glad with it: its tiny, quite old but I think value for that money. Toilets&showers on the floor are not very clean, but nothing that can be said disgusting.

Vriendelijke medewerkers, centrale ligging, gratis Wifi, maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Typisch voor backpackers, niet voor mensen die iets van privacy zoeken (geen eigen badkamers) of iets van comfort (gehorige, ongezellige kamers).

Он расположен в самой центральной части Мельбурна (что очень удобно), но несколько "слишком бюджетный", я бы сказала - это вариант общежития: общие душ/туалеты, кухня (на крыше) и утюг на вахте. За 10 дней пребывания в моей комнате (3х3х3 м, с холодильником, телевизором, wifi и окном во внутренний колодец) ни разу не убрались и не выносили мусор, а о смене белья нужно просить на вахте (не чаще, чем раз в неделю). Мне это было не очень важно и вполне устроило - я все дни была занята на конференции, но кому-то наверняка покажется неприемлемым. Персонал нормальный - такси вызывают, об экскурсиях договариваются, переходник на местные розетки тут же дали, чемоданы на день оставить можно. После 9 вечера на вахте никого нет - но и для позднего заезда всё организовано.
