Good hotel for an overnight at Munich airport. Nothing around the airport at all. Food is fair, breakfast is good and a good value if you book with the Business package (includes breakfast and Wi-Fi.)

Great hotel and staff. A little bit of a walk if you are taking the train in but not bad.

ok for one night stay easier to find from a late night arrival instead of going into city centre.very helpful staff very good breakfast

The hotel was easily accessible from the 635 bus from the airport. As the reviews said the bus stop was two stops and let the passengers off in front of the hotel for 1.30 Euro each way. It was a clean, quiet hotel. There was free coffee and croissants for a continental breakfast early in the morning. I had 14 more hours of flying the next day so it was a welcome break from flying. I would recommend this hotel if you have s long 12 hour layover like I did. It was about few kilometres outside of the airport.

Nice, very clean, recently renewed, excellent early breakfast. Good shuttle traffic to MUC airport in 10 minutes and in priciple around the clock. The only negative thing was that the second bed/sova only had one blanket/quilt to share, which is mission impossible for kids!

Very Good! Bus from airport goes directly to hotel for drop off. Every 10-15 minutes pick up at hotel or airport. Some distance to downtown Munich area but in a great location for airport and shuttle. Would stay again for sure! Clean and Nice hotel.

Room comfort absolutely fine. Evening meal was inedible for the whole family and served with appalling service. I will not stay here again.

Enjouyed the stay. Front desk service can get better. Toilet was too high and too cramped. Room in general was comfortable.

Have used the Holiday Inn Express near Munich Airport on 4 previous occasions. This was 1st stay at Novotel which is similar price but far superior. Better room (sleeping 2 adults and 2 teens), better breakfast and easier found compare to Holiday Inn Express. Recommended for any family stopover in or out of Munich.

Great location for a short stopover. Exit the airport to the right and catch the #15 bus to the Novotel. Cost is Euro 1.30. 10 minute ride with stops clearly indicated in the bus. Hotel staff speak English very well. Rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Beds are firm++. Breakfast available. Early calls easily arranged. No amenities outside the hotel - all industry/airport. a really good choice if a stopover is all you require.

While the room was great and the staff helpful, don't believe the information about walking. Not a good idea. Also note that if you have an early flight on a weekend (as I did), that the first bus (public bus) to the airport might make you late. I ended up having to take a taxi.

Very quiet for being so close to the airport. Easy to reach by public bus (door to door from the terminal for 1.30 Euro). Clean and comfortable, just that you have to pay for Internet access is a relict they should get rid of.

Hotel fine, but nothing on web site about transfers from terminals.

We chose this hotel for the proximity to the airport as we had a 1 night layover before continuing our trip. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. The building is only 2 years old as of Dec. 2012 so it is still in extremely good condition. The location is close to the airport, but in a quiet neighborhood and there is no sound from the take offs and landings at all. The train station for the S8 and the S1 line is a 7 mknute walk makingit possible to takethe train into the city very convenient. We would choose this again without hesitation, a great value by the airport.

We were only able to stay overnight because we had a connecting flight early the next day. We didn't know that there was a bus stop right outside the hotel so could have taken a bus from the airport, but it was easy to catch a bus to the airport the next day. Hotel clerks were great--even had bus passes to sell us and there was coffee/snacks available at 5:30 in the morning. The hotel was really amazing.

About 1 mile from terminal on airport grounds, Everything OK. Great breakfast but expensive. Hotel parking expensive (public lot next door but did not find out the price). Room warm even with heat off. Do not like duvets. Would prefer regular blankets.

This hotel is very convenient if you have an early morning flight and need a QUIET place to stay. The on-site restaurant is your only choice since the hotel is located in a business park and there are no other places close by. The hotel is located on a public bus route (1.20 Euro fare) that runs about every 20 minutes so it's easy to get to/from the airport.

We travel to Europe through Munich often. Staying overnight at the Novotel, at the airport, gives us a chance to relax before heading back to the States. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet. The restaurant is top notch and the adjoining bar is very convenient. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly, efficient, and motivated to meet guests' needs. We will definitely book again at the Novotel.

Fantastic breakfast. Close to rail-link station without having to return to airport.

Very clean hotel. Very convenient to the hotel for early morning flights out of Munich. A bus that runs every 20 minutes or so can take you to/from the hotel or for 8-9 euros you can get a taxi

Really close to airport but difficult to get to via train. Had to pull luggage quite a distance. Going to airport in the am was 12 Euros, I would suggest the bus. Didn't eat there, breakfast was too much. Didn't use internet because was too much. Nice room but nothing included and very expensive for quality compared to other hotels on our 19 day trip through Germany. The one bad thing was the hotel bar. Bartender not very friendly and there were fruit flies all over the place.

Great for airport connection. Modern. Super efficient. Very friendly and helpful at check in, and in the restuarant/bar.

This was the last night of or trip to Germany and it was the second Novotel we stayed in on the trip. Both hotels were in excellent locations and were in great shape. The staff was attentive and helpful and the "family room" was just what we were looking for with 2 adults and 2 children.

Smooth check in. Nice rooms. But get this they have a minibar in the room. So I thought I would get a bottle of water from the minibar but there is not a bottle opener in sight. So I call the reception. She tells me to come to the bar to get my bottle opened. Huh??? Then why do you have a minibar in the room. On top of this, when I was checking out in the morning the lady at the reception asks if I used the minibar??? I tell her that I was going to but there were no bottle openers in the room. She continues with the checkout as if I did not say anything, No apology or anything. What kind of a hotel is this???

This is an excellent hotel, well-designed with nice details. The room was very clean and was very reasonable in price compared to other comparable hotels. No pool (we weren't looking for one) but for business and short term stays this is an excellent choice for a motel close to the Munich Airport and we would stay there again when the need arises.

This is a new hotel in a very convenient location. Nice modern rooms. Add-ons for parking, breakfast & internet are very high. The Wi-fi is so bad as to be insulting. Worst I've had in a hotel in many years. And the staff doesn't seem to care. This could be a terrific Munich Airport option if they can fix the glitches.

Nice, modern, clean hotel, used for overnight stay before flying from Munich. Location is beside car parking area, a 5 minute bus trip from the main terminal.

Very nice hotel in a good location. Only 2 gripes. My coffee/sugar milk was not refreshed and parking is very expensive for an airport hotel. Apart from that - all good

Great hotel. Checked in around midnight and the staff were ready for me. Quick and easy check-in. Room was exactly what was needed. Only complaint was the bed was a little hard, but otherwise, the service and amenities were perfect. I would recommend whole heartedly to anyone needing a place near the Munich Airport.

Great value proprty, modern and clean. Rooms small but perfectly adequate. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast. 1 stop on the S-bahn from the airport (2 mins journey E1.20) then a 5 minute walk from the station. (You can see the hotel from the station) Highly recommended as an alternative to the pricey on site hotel.

Excellent hotel - clean, quiet, comfortable. Decent size rooms, bar downstairs with meeting space and a good restaurant. Free city bus departs every 20 minutes between hotel and airport terminals.

Hotel staff sold bus tickets also to kids. Bus driver told that kids can travel free with adults - minor issue, but I paid anyway those useless tickets. Otherwise hotel was good.

The hotel was close to the airport, but it doesn't offer an airport shuttle - instead you are advised to take the public bus to the stop that is located just outside the hotel. A taxi would run you around 10 Euro. There was a good variety of food on the breakfast buffet. The rooms were clean. The hotel has a bus schedule, so they can help you plan your return to the airport by public transportation.
