Great value for money. It is right onTrans Canada. The Motel Manager Mike was very hospitable.

Me and my boyfriend stayed over night at this hotel while looking for jobs/place to live in Kamloops. Waste of fifty bucks! It was very cold in the room and we had the heat on all night, it was like sleeping on squeaky cement :( the beds were SO bad, didn't sleep much at all. I'd rather have slept in the car. Don't recommend this place AT ALL! Spend a few extra dollars and sleep in comfort! Not even worth it for an overnight stay.

Was ok as a stop off on the main highway. Staff are friendly enough and rooms ok, hot water and heating was temperamental

We only need a place to sleep that is warm clean and well priced. It serves our purposes exactly. Bathroom is very cold but usually we are there overnite so a shower is not required:)

Terrible motel, do not stay here! Dirty room, dated, dirty coffee machine, swimming pool empty and dirty. Stayed for one night, but will never stay here again, awful!

Checked in for one night into a room with two queen beds. Room and washroom and linen/towels were neat and clean. Very satisfied wit the stay and will come back if I ever pass through Kamloops again.

it was a one night stay on our way to Edmonton, i wiold not stay there much longer than one nite though. it served its purpose

If you are only stopping for the night you will be ok at this motel. The young man at the desk was friendly, the remote for tv did not work, the washroom needs improvement but it was fairly clean, Beds were confortable. We were a bit disapointed about the pool. It looks like it has been out of service for a few years, but it is still advertize on the ad as having an outdoor pool.

Good for the price paid

The motel was great, lacking maintenance in areas but our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed in it. Very pleased overall.

We were upgraded to a kitchenette at no extra charge, but it wasn't very clean. Had a ceiling fan caked with dust, the bathroom walls were not very clean, shower curtain was stiff with soap scum at the bottom. Because we had a kitchenette we decided to save some money and pick up a few groceries.....but before cooking or eating anything I had to wash dishes....they were not the cleanest

My boyfriend and I were on our way from Calgary to Vancouver and needed a place to stay overnight. I chose this place as the rate was the cheapest for September and it was in the area in which we wanted to stop. When I booked the hotel however, I needed late check in and when I let them know that I needed late check in they said that it would be no problem. I booked the hotel and said that I would be there for around 1am but when we got there, the guy at the front desk was upset that we were so late even though we arrived an hour early. Other than that, the place was good for one night... wouldn't stay any longer though.

We knew this was a budget accommodation and nothing fancy. The location was just what we needed and the price was fair. There are a lot of choices in the area and we picked this one because of the outdoor swimming pool. However when we arrived, there was no water in it. It had been closed all summer and had turned into a shallow pond from rain water. I told the manager we were disappointed that the pool was closed and we should have been told of this ahead of time. He said he would take off $5 each of our three rooms so that we could afford to go to McDonald's for dinner. After this rudeness, we cancelled our reservation (the agreement states we were paying for the first night regardless) so we stayed for one night instead of three, and went 500 yards away to the next place and gladly paid more for the rooms there based on a matter of principle.

Pity the pool was empty

Disappointed in the fact that the when booked told there was a pool for swimming and it was drained and not in use... this was Very disappointing as we had travelled a long way and could not wait to get on the way the next day.... to Stay where we could Swim.........................

The condition of the rooms was poor. I could have found a better one for the price that I paid.

A fairly clean , quiet okay place to rest your head for the night .

This motel may be old, but it is has incredible character, its clean, fairly maintained and a fantastic value for the price! If you are looking for somewhere with no frills--just somewhere to lay your head for the night cheaply- I definitely recommend this motel!

This isn't a complaint, because it was the cheapest hotel available which is what I was looking for. Hotel is old and lacking in maintenance, however if you are looking to save money this motel served its purpose. Bed was comfy and the floors were vacuumed. I would not touch the dishes nor the televsion remote. Take it as it is,

This is a small motel that is run down and slightly uncomfortable. The room did have a small fridge, but there were Jesus quotes on the wall and there weren't any extra electric outlets from laptop plug-ins. The price was very cheap and you get what you pay for. I was concerned for my belongings in the car overnight, although nothing happened. If you are simply passing through Kamloops, the Trans Canada Motel isn't that bad of an overnight spot for travelers on a budget, but if you are staying longer than a night, I wouldn't recommend it.

Das vermutlich günstigste Motel in der Umgebung. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Genau das richtige, wenn man mit dem Auto auf der Durchreise ist und eine günstige Wanzenfreie Übernachtungsmöglichkeit sucht.

Tijdens onze trip door canada zijn we hier 1 nachtje verbleven. Van een Motel hadden we vooraf niets verwacht, dus tijdens aankomst waren we blij verrast dat onze kamer er echt goed uitzag. Goede douche, airco, draadloos internet en een koelkast. Dit voor mekaar dus.
