Breakfast was good, rooms were comfortable, will return!

I have stayed at this hotel for more than 2 dozen nights - because of its location and price. During my stays, I have experienced mostly positive results; however, on occasion, the morning staff is a bit unfriendly and not very helpful. The evening staff is exemplary. Also, being a pet-friendly facility, do not be surprised at the amount of dog droppings on the grass outside the front door. On this trip, I had a small dog try to nip my ankle while in the elevator with the dog's owner. No harm, tho. If you can overlook the occasional barking in the rooms and the doggy land mines in the grass, then this is your place to stay.

The girl at front desk worked with me to get a room on first floor since we have an old dog, and needed to be close to door. Room was great, quiet, food was good. Several soccer teams were registered at hotel, but the breakfast area was restocked when we got there for breakfast.

I had mentioned at time of reservation that I was age 77 and my companion was age 92, prefered a room near entrance and ground floor. No such luck, people with dogs seemed to have preferance to those.

Very njce breakfast and also provided snack in evening.

This is a new hotel in the middle of nowhere. It's about 5 minutes to ikea.

The room and the breakfast were very good- met all of our expectations, except couldn't connect to the wireless.

Room and people were fine. There was not enough seating at breakfast and no chairs/tables to sit at in quiet. TV's on everywhere. The "Business Center" had just one old, slow computer and a single beat up old chair. I had work to do while my son slept in the room and no place to do it.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was nicer than most chain motels. Room was neat and clean and facility was very well maintained in general. We plan to be back in this area and will stay at this location again.

Dont intend to stay again...Dogs all over the place...one pooped in the lobby with 3 droppings. Stayed on 4th floor and heard dog barking across from room. Several dogs downstairs and pooping all over outside constantly. Had 3 rooms rented.

I really enjoyed my stay only downfall was the visibility of roach powder in the bathroom. But yes I would def stay again

will not stay again due to dogs...everywhere...one pooped 3 times in floor inside lobby. one was on the 4th floor barking a lot...I had 3 rooms rented.

Too many dogs...one close to our room on 4th floor barking. Saw several down on 1st floor and some scooted everywhere. Also, one dog pooped 3 times in entry. It was picked and cleaned up, but floor was left wet and some kids were walking around barefooted or in sock feet. This WILL be my last stay wherever dogs are allowed in the Hotel...I pay a good price to stay in a nice Hotel and not with animals. Just like the lion attacked and killed the keeper, some of these big dogs are also dangerous. My choice not to tolerate animals that were also possibly in my room at one time!

My hotel stay was great from the first night to the last. The service was amazing everyone was friendly and very prompt when it came to getting our needs met...i will definitely be staying here again.

This hotel isn't anything fancy, but it's a very nicely-kept place that opened in May of 2010. It is fairly clean... The floor wasn't spotless when we came in to the room but it wasn't terrible. The shower curtain had a little mildew in one area. Other than that, I felt like they really tried to keep in clean. The lobby and breakfast area look just like the pictures - they are beautiful. Breakfast was great - waffles, toast, muffins, cereal, juices, eggs, bacon, and buscuits. It was served from 6am-9am, but they kept it open even later than they had to. The hotel visitors were very quiet when we were there, but the walls were pretty thin. I could hear the TV turn on or off next door and heard the guest's alarms go off and the shower running. (It was fine - but if the next room had been a noisy one, it would have been worse.) The hotel is NOT within walking distance of anything - all restaurants and drugstores are at least 6 or 7 minutes away by car. The outdoor pool was VERY small. I requested a late checkout because of some scheduling conflict. The lady at the front desk was reluctant but gave me an extra half hour. There is only one entrance to the hotel - the lobby. And there are only two vending machines in the building. The drink vending machine is on the first floor, next to the ice maker. And the snack vending machine is on the second floor. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel. Nothing fancy, but a great price for a decent stay.

great stay, would stay there again. staff was very helpful. rooms were good.

Previously, this hotel disappointed us due to the amount of dogs on site. However, this stay was quiet and pleasant.

Very good except that the wi-fi didn't work on my I-PaD

The room was clean. The only problem was that the walls must have been very thin, because I could hear the people in the next room. And they were up until 12:30.

Very nice hotel - close to shopping, restaurants are easily accessed within a few miles. Great price - and I got way more than I expected.

Would only stay in such a location for business but very good for that purpose. Nothing to complain about inside.

Everything was great except for the snooty little manager of the place. Either he shouldn't be out on the floor, or he needs to understand that not all of the people who pay his bills wear cashmere.

It was a great stay. My only complaint is the mattress was a little too hard for my liking.

Was in room 402. We were rocked out of bed at 530am. Called down to front desk to see what was going on and they told me it was the water system. They said it would stop in 15 min. The man was not very nice. He told me all the rooms on that side had the same problem. I will not be back.

Awful.....loud guests......someone set off a smoke alarm at midnight. We had to evacuate room the until they figured out it was a hoax. No sleep!

Hotel was very clean, great breakfast with eggs and bacon as well as other regular continental breakfast items...enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is cheaply constructed. You can hear people simply talking in the next room. The refrigerator doesnt work properly and cause our food to spoil and melt. Upon discussing this with the manager he offeres no solutions nor did he offer any kind of compensation. I was not asking for any compensation nor would i have accepted it. HOWEVER, this manager should have tried to make me want to stay in this brand of hotel again. Thus i will never stay in a la quinta again.

Hotel employees very congenial and helpful. Made you feel welcome as though at home.

We enjoyed our three nights at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was amazing. This was a good value through hotels.com.

Signage was TERRIBLE!!!! roadway into hotel was not lighted and had no sign! It was dark and I easily could have missed it!!! Sign on hotel was way too small and poor illuminated!!!! You need a huge sign now and will even more when something builds in front of the hotel.

The hotel was fine. The noise from narking dogs was undesirable so I would not stay there again.

The walls are very thin. Heard EVERYTHING in other rooms. Breakfast wasnt great. Other than that it was nice.

I travel frequently to the Allen, Mckinney area and usually stay in Allen. This time I stayed here and I am picky about the area and cleanliness of hotels where I stay. It was very clean, nice area that feels very safe, and easy to find. However, my only complain was that the morning breakfast ran out of the scrambled eggs half hour before breakfast ended and they never re-filled the containers. But I will definitely stay here again the next time I come and strongly recommend it!

great stay....i come here every year to stay for the conference in Frisco

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always considered it a five star. If you are traveling with a pet, this is very definitely your best bet in the area. However, if you're not into barking dogs and rooms that are gradually being pet damaged, we suggest you shop around. Wonderful breakfast! Great bacon!
