BUDGET INN GALLIPOLIS - גאליפוליס

The stay at the Hotel was very pleasant quit and relaxing. I enjoyed it and will be staying there from now on my trips to Gallipolis Ohio. It was clean rooms and the location was very convenient for us to get to stores, town, other friends homes, and close to the church.

About what you'd expect from a budget hotel in terms of condition, but I found the room to be very comfortable and quiet (I like to take top floor rooms to avoid possible noise from above) and the staff was very business-like and considerate. I'd stay again.

I can't really say anything positive. The hotel smelled musty, looked very worn. I was there almost twenty years ago. I'm pretty sure nothing has changed in that time except it has gotten older and more shop worn.

Staying here was a big mistake. the Hotel is very run down. The walls and ceiling of the room was stained from water leaks, the bathroom literally stunk from sewer gas. The gas seal in the window has failed long ago, couldn't see out the window. Soda machines were either out of service or accepted quarters only, hallways were stained and torn and no air conditioning was on inside the Hotel. Took 3 hours to cool room down because the air was off in there as well and the Hotel was extremely hot as there were no trees to shade. The roof was partially collapsed right above our room and in a rain the water poured down the side of the building. The linens were clean and it was convient for what I was doing but a terrible place, terrible. I would never go there again for any price.
