Only place i would stay when in St. Petersburg.

Amazing hotel, superb service. Located within 10 minutes walk of quite a few of St Petersburg's tourist attractions. Highly recommend to anyone, worth every penny, do not hesitate-you will not be disappointed!!!!!

1st class hotel. Staff couldn't do enough to ensure i had a good stay. Don't think i could use another Hotel in St Petersburg after staying here.

the hotel is pretty luxurious, the staff is hospitable. Breakfast is ok. The hotel is close to the sentral Nevsky street and historical downtown.

Staff very friendly and caring, location is good, rooms are fantastic, view onto park and Fontanska river is also very cool.

Hotel was very clean and in a good location. Staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed the common space on the 5th floor.

I read some of the other reviews and didn't find a bad thing about the Rossi. I will go back. Mikhail at the front desk couldn't have been nicer and allowed me to check in early and kept my bags for me after I cheked out. The room was a little small but nice and clean. The ONLY thing was that the bed was two smaller twin beds pushed together. After a day of having fun in St. Pete it wasn't even an issue. All of the rooms are different and I even got a short tour of some of the deluxe rooms. I am upgrading next time. Overall, I think this is a great place. Clean, good service, in a pretty quiet area and not far from the main street.

Concierge was very helpful in recommending restaurants, arranging transportation, etc. - we found this indepensible as non-Russian speakers. All hotel staff spoke good English. Hotel breakfast was nice - with extensive hot, cold and tepid offerings, and gave essential energy for walking around the huge expanses of the city. Nearby restaurants were excellent. Views from hotel room also very nice.

Nice Boutique Hotel within walking distance to major attractions. Rooms were clean and staff was helpful. Christmas white lights around the door and windows facing the street was a little gaudy. Only one English language television station (BBC). The one elevator in the hotel was out of service for a period of time during my 3 day stay.

A beautiful house with really cosy, individual rooms and down at the reception young, really attentive and helpful staff. Something seems to be wrong with the quality management, though: chamber maids are really nice but seem to not have been trained well - why else would they throw away personal things like gift boxes and a brace (aaaarghh!) but leave the actual bin full? And, for the breakfast, so much has been written about it, why do they not react? water thin liquid rather than freshly squeezed orange juice, bacon with 80% fat anything but crispy and tasty, freshly prepared fried eggs that are still transparent and slippery, and so on... If they sport a plate at the reception "a proud member of the Luxury Group", this can´t be their ambition. The shower sink was blocked, and, another day smelly, after a complkaint they immediately took care of it - but don´t expect ther service personnel to see and smell it themselves. If I ran the place, I would try a new quality manager, because the house and the young people working there are excellent yet in some respects unschooled... So, for the hotel, for the value, for the rooms, for the staff, for the location: a definite yes., even more when the spa opens (which now only appears on the bill but isn´t open yet). If you like to have good breakfast and self-reliable chamber service, maybe go somewhere else...

The front desk staff was extremely helpful in dealing with a medical problem and accommodating our need to extend our stay. Hotel personnel were uniformly courteous and professional. Deluxe rooms were very spacious and attractive with exceptional bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Rossi Hotel for four days in October on a sight-seeing trip. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We used the hotel car service to the airport and laundry service and were satisfied with both. The included breakfast was good. Our one complaint was that the heat turned on automatically and the room got very hot. Wifi is free and there are public computers available for use in the lobby and in the library area on the 5th floor.

The hotel receptionists were most friendly and helpful. We ate almost all our meals at the hotel restaurant - the service and decor were very good, the menu had a very wide range of dishes, and the food simply delicious.

Hotel Rossi is nice hotel that is well located. It's not next door to a metro station (which would generally be my preference) but nothing in SPB really is, and the metro seems more suited for commuters than tourists. The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms are certainly comfortable. I do have one complaint: the doors to the rooms are really thin. One never really has a sense of privacy, since it's so easy to hear what's going on in the neighboring rooms. One final note: the hotel staff, especially at the front desk, is really helpful. This made my trip much easier.

Within minutes walk from Hermitage, with friendly staff and free WiFi and Breakfast. We were properly greeted, given early checking opportunity. While the views from our windows were not 5 stars the cozyness and staff made it a 5 star experience in this 4 star hotel. I will definately stay there again. Thank you.

usually hotels in Russia are overpriced but in this one I found more than what I paid for

the hotel was ok, but in the hotel they tried to fix something and that wasn't ok - it was loud and they did it overnight... also it is cold - they don't have central heating so they use a kind of air conditioner with the warm function. but indeed this function didn't work in my room... to many problems for a real big amount of money...

Dette hôtel ligger fantastisk godt i rolige omgivelser ned til en kanal, tæt på Newsky Prospekt ca. midtvejs mellem Eremitagen og Banegården, hvilket betyder at stort set alt er inden for gåafstand. Personalet, ungt engelsktalende og meget venligt og hjælpsomt og derudover en dejlig restaurant.

建物はすばらしく、 部屋は広いしあたたかいです。 バスルームはタイル使いなので寒いです。WiFiは部屋にあり便利でした。英語も通じるので安心です。 アメリカ人など外国人が多く宿泊している感じを受けました。

Hotellin sijainti lähellä Nevskiä oli erinomainen. Vieressä oli myös oikein kiva ruokaravintola. Hotellin yleisilme oli miellyttävä ja erittäin siisti. Huone oli tilava. Miinusta sängyn patjan kovuudesta sekä äänieristyksen heikkoudesta. Äänet muista huoneista kantautuivat voimakkasti ja häiritsevinä. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Kaiken kaikkiaan oikein hyvä yöpymiskokemus. Suosittelen.

Puitteet ulkoisesti olisivat olleet hyvät ,jos muu kunto olisi ollut hoidossa.Aamiainen oli hyvä,..myös illallinen oli varsin laadukas vaikkakin yksityistilaisuuden takia jouduttiin syömään lobbyssa.Lumihangessa piti kahlata pääovelle jota oli muista ovista vähän heikkoa erottaa.Huone oli päällisin puolin hyvä jos vessan lasiseinät ulkopuolelle eivät häiritse......

Fint og sentralt hotell, veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte i resepsjonen.

Personnel très disponible, hôtel à la fois chic et convivial, très bon restaurant , à 10/15 minutes à pied des principaux sites touristiques de St Petersburg, à recommander.

Очень хорошая гостиница, приветливый персонал, отличный ресторан, все очень вкусно, замечательное обслуживание, а с учетом скидки, которую дают постояльцам отеля, еще и не очень дорого. Понравилась мансарда, уютно и тихо, много книг на любой вкус. Если буду в Питере, с удовольствием остановлюсь в этом месте еще раз.

Hervorragendes, stilvolles Hotel an guter Lage. Hat alles geklappt, ausser die mit fast einer halben Stunde Verspätung eintreffende Taxibestellung zum Flughafen. ("Sorry our driver is late, he will drive a little bit faster so you will catch your flight!"). Hat Nerven gekostet. Ansonsten aber alles top,

Otelimizin gerek konumu gerekse mutfağı muhteşemdi, bütün yemeklerinin yanında öyle bir suşiyi istanbulda yemeniz imkansız , hemen yan sokağındaki Rossi club da gayet iyi idi ,konumu da çok merkezi bir yerde,standart odalar biraz küçük gelebilir ama yeterli her yere yürüme mesafesinde kesinlikle tavsiye edilir...

Huoneemme oli neljännessä kerroksessa ja sieltä oli hyvä näköala Fontankalle, pitkin Fontankaa ja Lomonosovin puistoon. Myös uusklassisia rakennuksia oli vastapäätä, ehkä Carlo Rossin suunnittelemia. Aamiaisravintola oli kodikas ja tyylikäs ja aamiainen sopivan, ei liian runsas ja monipuolinen. Hotellin varauspalvelu vastasi kysymyksiini kohteliaasti ja asiallisesti ilman liikaa viivettä. Kävelymatka talvipalatsille on ehkä kilometri, ja siis sopivan mittainen. Huoneen ilmanvaihto toimi kyllä riittävästi vaikka aluksi näyttikin olevan kokonaan pysähdyksissä.

Rent och fräscht. Hopplöst att hitta till, följ inte hotellets vägbeskrivning på hemsidan. Använde enbart egna bilar vilket ledde till dubbelt så höga taxiräkningar. Spa-delen är ännu inte byggd. Trevligt bemötande ifrån personalen. Enkel men ok frukost. Bekväma sängar. Tyst och lugnt.

Rummet (mycket litet) var utomordentligt opraktiskt möblerat så man kunde knappast fungera alls där - enbart för att sova. Frukost (inkluderad) och lunchservering rena katastrofen. Lever inte alls upp till standarden hos mycket billigare hotell i Saint Petersburg!

Accueil chaleureux (en anglais et un peu de français). Réception aimable et "aidante" (réservation resto, taxi, orientation ...). Très bon rapport qualité prix pour la ville (prix 2010/2011). Un hôtel au design moderne conservant également le cachet d'un vieux bâtiment. Chambre standard petite mais confortable. L'originalité de la chambre : une baie vitrée transparente séparant la salle de bain de la chambre à coucher (ça a son charme, ... rideau occultant si nécessaire) Bien situé, à 5 min à pied de l'avenue principale (Nevsky prospekt) proposant de nombreux magasins ou galeries marchandes. Déjeuner buffet tout à fait correct. Globalement nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel. Nous recommandons.

The room lacked a couple of chairs for seating and the beds were terribly hard.
