The Shore at Katathani - פוקט

I have travelled to over 30 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels and I think that this was the best that I have stayed in. From start to finish everything was perfect, the answer to every question was yes and the villas are just amazing.

Loved it! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Because they share amenities with the sister resort it was plentiful.

Excellent service and good quality villa. Very little direct sun light onto our terrace or private pool and very poor wifi service, particularly on the evenings.

Well worth the money. I felt like royalty staying there! The staff is so cordial and wonderful! The accommodations are spectacular. I had no trouble just making myself comfortable. My only caveat to staying there was the amount of stairs I had to climb to get to my room. That, however, is easily remedied by the ready availability of staff-chauffered golf carts. The beach and the view are straight out of travel magazines... I'm DEFINITELY coming back here in the future!

the villa has a breathtaking ocean view (sunset). the private pool is superb. water is kept clean because it's flowing, and the temperature is just perfect. not hot, not cold. the facilities inside the room are complete including iphone dock speakers. although, the beach current is a bit strong (coz we went there during rainy season), it did not stop us from having a very memorable experience. the location is a bit far from patong (the center of nightlife) but it is very safe and private. i will definitely come back. highly recommended.

Really nice place, service was excellent. They are always there for you. Would recommend for any romantic get a way or honeymoon.

It is the only hotel which I can't point out anything is not good. It is a prefect hotel for vacation with your love and family!

Let me start with the positives first. The staff are very friendly, service is great, and they will go out of their way to help you. I got the seaview pool villa, which was huge, had a large pool and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised that the private swimming pool was perfectly clean after every room service. The room couldn't have been any better. The Shore has a private spa, private restaurant and private garden for suntanning. Private meaning all other guests of Kathathani resort are not allowed to use of The Shore's facilities, BUT guests of The Shore are allowed to use all the facilities of the less luxurious Kathathani Beach Resort and Kathathani Phuket Beach Resort. How cool is that? The Shore is the only hotel in the area with a common infinity pool that is long and deep enough to swim laps. The other 2 hotels pretty much have wading pools with lots of people/kids and are just too noisy for swimming. Now let's move on to the negatives. Firstly, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, ideal for retirees and honeymooners, but otherwise, there is practically nothing to eat or shop outside of the hotel! When I first saw the reviews, I was mistaken that The Shore is on Kata Beach, which is very happening with lots of shops and restaurants. The Shore is on "Kata Noi" beach, a secluded area far from Kata Beach, and the taxi operators know that so they charge you an arm and a leg for a ride out. The food is very expensive at the hotel, expect around 300 baht for a simple Thai noodle dish, so I ended up eating at the "Orchid Restaurant", the only decent local eating house nearby, where the Thai noodles cost $80 baht. On this note, I should mention that if you really want to eat at The Shore, order room service. The food comes in very fast, hot and intact, and it's the same price as eating at the restaurant downstairs. My husband and I decided to splurge and book a villa at The Shore. It was the most amazing resort we have ever had the pleasure to stay at! The room was exceptional with beautiful views and lovely attention to detail. The service was also tremendous and the location right on Kata Beach was perfect! You will not be disappointed!

Pool villas are simply incredible. Way nicer than expected. Pricey but well worth it

This time is celebrate my birthday with my lovely be!! The villa ...is perfer, comfortable, very beautiful view!! I suggest while you are stay in The shore, don't too much outdoor activity, spend the time to enjoy in there, here also have different kind of course you can join. We also having a private dinner at THE HABOUR, very very romantic, cheerful and nice staff provide a warmand professional service to us. This is a memorable day of my life.

What can I say. The best accomodation & service I have ever experienced. Brilliant service, Awesome staff & 1st Class accomodation.

Our stay at The Shore was perfect! The staff, the room, the property, the service, the food was above and beyond our expectations. We would NEVER think to stay anywhere else when in Phuket. Words do it no justice! You'll regret it if you don't stay here.

The beautiful views, your own private pool and luxurious room make The Shore at Katathani an ideal place to stay. The staff are very friendly, well versed in English and always helpful. We did enjoy the fact that no children under 12 are allowed as this was very relaxing. There are children at the sister resort - Katathani Beach resort which was fine. We enjoyed the restaurants on the grounds but it's also close enough to walk to other restaurants or take a short taxi ride into Kata for a myriad of choices. We were lucky enough to arrive for the Loy Krathong festival and they had a special dinner with Loy Krathong floats for each guest and flying lanterns that we lit after dinner and watched fly away. The beach is very nice with no road to cross. Enough stands on the beach that you can get a massage, a drink or jet ski but not so much that it's intrusive. We saw a wedding one evening - it looked lovely - and we got to enjoy the fireworks along with the wedding party. I would definitely return to The Shore at Katathani when we need a beach vacation in Phuket.

Vi hade en fantastisk vecka på The Shore at Katathani, två vuxna och två barn 15 och 20. Bilderna vi tittat på innan såg härliga ut men hotellet med dess personal gjorde sitt bästa, varje dag, för att överträffa förväntningarna. Även hotellets mat var mycket bra. Vi valde att äta där flera kvällar. När det gäller höjdskillnadrrna på hotellet var inte heller det ett problem. Vill man inte gå finns det direkt en bil som väntar på att skjutsa dig. Jag rekommenderar detta hotell varmt och längtar redan efter ett återvända!!

这次在katathani度过了一个非常完美的假期。因为是一家四口出行，所以当时预订了双卧室的套间，到了才发现是一个双层别墅，上下各一间卧室，一层有客厅和游泳池，非常宽敞舒服。其实katathani是一个很大的度假村，几乎占据了整个小卡塔海滩，而the shore最为整个度假村最高端私密的一块，是独立管理与服务的，所有的服务人员都非常亲切和蔼，服务非常周到。酒店可以直接通往卡塔海滩，而卡塔海滩也美的出乎想象。总之，一切都非常完美，下次来普吉还想来住the shore at katathani。

如果喜歡熱鬧，泡吧的可能不適合。這遍海攤很偏遠，卻十分安靜跟乾淨。海景房的景色很美，房間格局很舒適，可以泡在自己的泳池游泳或者旁邊的沙發曬太陽。吃飯的話，連著三間同集團的飯店餐廳能選擇，街角也有兩家餐廳。只有位置偏了點，去其他地方都要搭車搭很久。

很庆幸选了这家，环境很好，服务人员也很热心，会再次选择…

가격이 있다보니.. 엄청 기대를 하고 갔는데 멋진뷰와 풀은 그 기대감을 200% 만족시켜주었네요~ 다만 리조트 주변에 딱히 가볼데가 없는것이 아쉽지만 툭툭이 타고 나가면 금방 시내이니.. 아무튼 강추 리조트입니다! ^^

Top hotel! Brilliant service and guest care. However it seems that by booking through hotels.com you automatically get the rooms with no ocean view. Even though the hotel was not fully booked, we still got the back villa.

더 쇼어는 정말 오션뷰와 내부 인테리어가 아름답습니다. 풀빌라에서의 개인 풀과 살라에서 둘만이 갖는 오붓한 시간..파도소리를 들으며 사색에 잠기다 보면, 티비와 인터넷 없이도 전혀 루할 틈이 없더군요~ 심지어, 그 아름다은 바다 전망은 욕조와 샤워부스에서까지 볼 수 있답니다^^ 정말 대단해요~ 또, 풀빌라 바로 앞에 위치한 해변은 정말 맑고 아름다운 옥색 바다와 희고 고운 모래를 갖고 있어요~ 카타타니의 다소 작은 공용풀에서의 수영도 좋았어요~ 한 가지 아쉬웠던 점이라면, 개미떼와 함께 풀빌라를 공유해야 했던 점이랄까요?^^ 첫 날 들어갔을 때는 방역을 하고 나서, 음식물을 아직 방에서 섭취하지 않아서인 지 개미가 있는 지도 몰랐어요^^ 근데, 둘째 날 보니 저희가 룸에서 조식도 먹고, 석식도 먹은 걸 눈치챘던 지 개미떼들이 식사를 하러 졸졸 나오셨더군요~ 근데 큰 개미는 아니구여~ 집에 가끔 나오는 불개미?작은 개미들이에요~ㅋ 그래두 침실까지 들어오진 않더라구요^^ 그래서 요 정도는 충분히 즐겁게 넘길 수 있었어요~ 다음에 다시 푸켓에 간다면 또 더 쇼어에 묵고 싶네요^^
