Quite good to stay a couple of nights, close to main attractions, friendly and helpfull staff. Minuses: very steep and narrow stairs - not suitable for elder people and/or big luggage, thin walls - you can hear all what i going on in the next room, extremely tiny bathroom

This hotel was a good value for the money. The bathrooms were recently renovated, but they could have used new carpet & some other updates. We ended up on the 3rd floor (4th by American standards) and had to climb 40+ stairs with our luggage as there were no elevators. That was really our only complaint, otherwise the room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was also convenient to restaurants and tourist attractions.

The hotel is a 2 star, so you shouldn't expect more. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are simple but clean. Breakfast was good and the location is in a quiet street, approx. 15min walk from the station and 5mins to Dam Square. Overall a pleasant stay for a night or two.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The staff was very accommodating, as we arrived in Amsterdam at 6:30 am and went directly to our hotel, they let us store our luggage until we could check in at 2 pm. The room was rather small but it was clean and had a bathroom. The walls seemed rather thin, when other guests got in late we could hear them quite plainly. The stairs are very narrow and steep so getting luggage up to our room was a challenge, but we made it. We also arrived late for breakfast the next morning (it was actually over, we had our watches set wrong) and the staff was very kind to set it out again so we could eat. It was within walking distance from the central shopping areas and restaurants or within easy access of the trams. Overall a nice experience.

Hotel was located perfectly. It had a charming athmosphere and great view as our room was on the canal side. Weird thing was that one evening after the day out we arrived back at the hotel and someone had been in our room, moving beds and pillows and the explanation was that the cleaner had started cleaning there and had probably forgot to do the actual cleaning after all. Room was small but the bathroom was clean (allthoug might be a bit too small for anyone biger than us). Breakfast was ok, bread, cereals and coffee. Staff was very helpfull.

Loistava sijainti kauniilla alueella, todella mukava palvelu ja langaton netti toimi moitteettomasti! Aamupala oli varsin kelvollinen: leipää, leikkeleitä, juustoa, marmeladia, keitettyjä kananmunia, muroja, tuoremehua, hedelmiä. Huone ei ollut suuren suuri, mutta kylpyhuone oli selvästi hiljattain remontoitu. Portaat olivat odotetusti jyrkät, joten kolmanteen kerrokseen kiivetessä sai hyvän jalkatreenin. Kaiken kaikkiaan erittäin hyvää vastinetta rahalle. Suosittelen!

Boede 4døgn på dette hotel sammen med min veninde. Alt personalet var utroligt servicemindet og smilende. De var med til at give stedet en hyggelig atmosfære. Værelset var småt men funktionelt. Morgenmaden lavpraktisk men fin. Trapperne var stejle og kan være en stor udfordring for dårligt gående, men de var ikke værre end i andre kanalhuse. Beliggenheden var fantastisk lige ud til kanalen og området de 9 gader. Ville bo på dette hotel igen

Hotellet ligger perfekt midt i Amsterdan, kan gå til alt.

C'est la 2ème fois que nous louons un appartement pour 2 couples pour quelques nuits à l'hôtel Hoksbergen et nous en sommes très contents : les personnes à l'accueil de l'hôtel sont très sympathiques et parlent français. Ils nous ont indqué où garer notre voiture dans un parking P+R en nous donnant l'adresse pour le GPS. L'appartement était propre et rangé, et les draps et serviettes et torchons fournis, ainsi que l'essuie-tout et le papier toilette. Il y avait même éponge, produit vaisselle, vaisselle, plaques, micro-onde et bouilloire ! Nous recommandons l'appartement 18 de l'hôtel Hoksbergen, le seul que nous connaissons ! Enfin pour conclure, très bon emplacement en plein centre d'Amsterdam avec un supermarché à 2 mn de l'appartement !

Sin duda muy contentas con nuestra elección !! Si bien es un hotel pequeño y bastante antiguillo...su ubicación y el personal hacen q merezca mucho la pena. Esta cerca de todo. En pleno meollo. Baño reformado y desayuno poco variado pero agradable. Escaleras no aptas para quien padezca de vértigo. Volvería sin duda!!

Personal amable, prestos a ayudarte. Fui con mis hermanos y nos hospedamos en amsterdam durante 3 dias, nos dieron un apartamento con las comodidades basicas, bueno para el precio que se pago considerando que esta es una ciudad bastante cara. El apartamento tiene una cama en medio de todo y un cuarto aparte algo mas privado con dos camas individuales. El primer dia nos ofrecieron cambio d toallas ya luego los otros dos, no. Bano con bastante jabones, potes d champu, la cocina tiene microondas, una pequena nevera, utencilios basicos para cocinar y ahorrarte algo d dinero no comiendo por fuera. Muy bien ubicado cerca de la estacion central, plaza Dam, casa d ana frank y otros sitios d interes. Aspectos negativos se escucha ruidos d otras habitaciones y las escaleras muy reducidas y extremadamente inclinadas.

Værelset var lille, men havde alt hvad der skal bruges. Personalet var meget flinke og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var måske lidt sparsom, vi blev hurtigt sultne igen.

Had a tiny tiny room, washroom about as bit as a closet, including shower. However, it was newly renovated, clean, funtional. The room was a bit cold, but was quite comfortable at night under the covers. Awesome location, and my room had a nice view on the Singel. Very friendly and helpful welcome and service.

Es war eines der günstigsten Angebote, die wir finden konnten. Wir hatten daher auch keine grossen Erwartungen. Die Zimmer waren dann auch sehr klein und nicht wirklich hübsch aber - und das war uns wichtig - sie waren sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und gab gerne gute Tipps. Das Frühstück war - obwohl bei der Buchung anders angegeben - inbegriffen, nicht überwältigend aber absolut ok (nur der Kaffee war nichts). Dafür war der Standort einfach einmalig! Man ist mitten im Zentrum und doch an ruhiger Lage, gelangt überall zu Fuss hin und so kommt man auch superschnell zu einem richtig guten Kaffee.

ci siamo trovati molto bene in questo hotel, piccolo ma accogliente. davvero caratteristico con vista sul canale, tipiche scale ripidissime e finestre di legno. il personale molto gentile, e disponibilissimo a dare informazioni ed aiutare gli ospiti. la stanza era piuttosto grande, arredata semplicemente e il bagno piccolo e cieco ma pulito. cambio asciugamani e pulizia giornaliero. colazione buona. ci siamo trovati molto bene e se dovessimo tornare ad amsterdam torneremo in quest'hotel!

Very good Hôtel, chambre appartement pour 5 génial !!! rien a redire cuisine toute équipée, vraiment très bien situé... Arrivée à 22h le vendredi soir et le personnel d'accueil toujours aussi agréable pour un groupe d'ami il es parfait

Hotel situatedin centre but is just for sleeping. The room were very small and almost no space for suitcases. Friendly and serviceminded staff
