Hotel backs up to busy road, but overall good experience.

Excellent overnight stay. Remarkably good breakfast selections of hot and cold food, fresh fruit and bevereges.

We were here for the New Bedford Half Marathon. The location was very convenient for the registration site, start and finish line and post race refreshments. The room was comfortable and clean, We and the free breakfast was generous and varied. We also enjoyed the waterfront grille restaurant across the street

Very nice, very quiet, conveient, great breakfast, and friendly staff.

I had a bit of trouble getting to the hotel, as there was a detour with no directions posted. The hotel did not notify me ahead of time so I had to find my way on my own, which was not easy given I am not familiar with the area. Upon arrival there was quite a line to check in, however a few moments later 2 additional staff members jumped on to help. I had reserved a King room but was given a room with 2 doubles. This would have been an issue if my boyfriend had travelled with me as originally planned, however it worked out ok. The room was very spacious and very clean, much nicer than expected, and I had a wonderful view. The bed was not very comfortable and therefore I had some trouble sleeping. In the morning I skipped the continental breakfast, as the room appeared to have every seat taken. Overall I enjoyed my stay, would stay there again.

My boss and two associates were visiting New Bedford, MA for two days-none had been to this area of the US before. They very much enjoyed the rustic feel of the city, the friendliness of the locals but the placement of the Fairfield within New Bedford was extremely helpful (and just across the street from the wharf). The hotel staff was very accommodating and the hotel was brand new. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay there and are already talking about going back for leisure travel in the future!

The hotel is fairly new and very well maintained. Everything was clean, and the room was very comfortable and pleasant. We were able to walk to the Whaling Museum and several retail shops and restaurants. The ocean was across the street. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return to this hotel if we're in the city again.

It was nice and well maintained with an average selection for the free breakfast. Just a little noisy but generally fine.

I found the stay pleasurable and relaxing. We were surprising my aunt the next day for her birthday and we couldn't go see her the day we arrived or the surprise would have been spoiled. Breakfast was plentiful and so many choices. Coffee and tea available all day in the lobby. We did not use the gym or pool but there are enough amenities to please anyone's stay. Other than construction on the roads in the area, the location is fine, since it's in an historical area and much to see such as museums and churches.

The hotel itself is very clean, up to date, and attractive. Street construction makes it difficult to get to the hotel. Be prepared to loop back on a somewhat confusing detour. Service in the hotel was average at best. Checking in took the longest I have ever seen, in any hotel. (Seriously). The check in person was not being interrupted by the phone, other guests, or other staff. He seemed to have no clue about how to handle a Hotels.com reservation, didn't seem very familiar with their system, and frankly, didn't seem to care. The breakfast had standard hotel scrambled eggs, which were sitting a pan with about a half inch of water, so you had to careful to not get scrambled egg soup. Overall, you could probably find a better place close by.

My room was clean enough so that when my 8 year old wanted to stay on the floor, I was okay with that. Staff were friendly and the continental breakfast included something for everyone.

Clean and comfortable to stay in. the pool was alittle small, but really nice! I would definitaly stay there again.

As this is apparently a brand new hotel, it was a delightful place to stay. Our conf held in the adjacent meeting room was comfortable, with little of the freeze/thaw of normal HVAC problems. The breakfast nook was tight for space, but the food offered was very good. The catering for the conf. was OUTSTANDING! The only criticism is that the staff should dust the rooms a little better. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay. And the seafood grill across the street, facing the harbor, doesn't hurt. :)

This hotel is awesome. The people were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is brand new and centrally located making it easy to get everywhere. We would definitely recommend it and plan to stay there again the next time we go to New Bedford, MA.

Hotel was 14 months old but looked like new. Very friendly and helpful desk staff. They even loaned us an umbrella! Road construction in front made it a little hard to get to but that's not the hotel's fault. Excellant seafood restaurant right across the street from the front entrance!

I traveled overnight for a business meeting and traveled to the region for the first time. Clean and nice hotel, courteous staff, room had all the amenities I needed and I walked across the street to a very nice seafood place. I would recommend this hotel to any colleague or friend.

The hotel is fairly new so it was very clean and accommodating for the most part! If your going to the Feast it is a great stay for the money! They won't flex on the pool hours or the fire pit outside that's a no go at 2:00am apparently!! lol I would stay there again if needed a place in the area!

Check in was a pain b/c rooms weren't ready, staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. My room was mostly clean, but there were a few large toenail clippings right in the middle of the floor which totally grossed me out. Good breakfast selection.
