Straight downtown, more of a boutique hotel than an average hotel, pool is good for kid's and continental breakfast was more than enought. great view of the river & nice to walk/run along it. A+++

Very good experience. I traveled with two kids 4 and 7 years old. Negative remarks: the internal swimming pool was too cold, the corridors had a quite strong smell of cleanning product. But the staff was really nice with us. And the location is perfect for those like us wanting a walking visit of the city. Restaurants and Supermarket are also in a wallking distance. There is a microwave and fridge or small kitchen in all rooms.

This hotel is in a very good location, next to Lac des Nations, walking distance from Wellington street, many choces of restaurants within walking distance. Design is clean and modern, the room has nice floor to ceiling windows, very comfortable bed. Continental breakfast (toast, bagels, cereal) in hotel lobby/lounge is OK. Underground parking.

Didn´t like, plastic plates fork and knifes. Bread for breakfust was not always ok. Small Gym and running equipment not in as it should be. Elivator beeping on all floors, might be for blind people otherwise change it. If you are staying on floor 3 and had a friend staying on higher floors card was coded not to go higher then your floor (stupied). Card stopped working several times.

Nice, kids loved it.

We enjoyed our short stay in this hotel. I was not sure what I would get but was happily surprised.

Mostly goodExcept when i arrived i had to proof with my paper that it was already paid.. took severals minutes, there was some pieces of equipement in the gym who didn't worked at all (dumbells), there was 2 pillows missing in one of the two beds, the ventilation fan in the bathroom was dirty

Was a nice place to stay , not to pricy.

This hotel was very good. I have to say the hotel was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The continental breakfast was adequate. Staff very pleasant and accommodating - especially the front desk staff. While the rooms were spacious, and the bed very comfortable, I found the room itself very dark. Not much into the fluorescent lighting behind the bed. The only adequate lighting was in the bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. It is very central to the downtown core and shopping district. The hotel also offers many discounts at local restaurants - just look in the back of the Guest Services book located in your room.

The view from the window was spectacular and we enjoyed our stay. I did find the room quite small for the cost. I also missed the fact there was no room service and no gift shop.

Slight mistake in our reservation got us the best room in the hotel (appartement sur le lac), which I would have voluntarily paid for if we had been 2 couples. Superb view on the lake and on the town. Walking distance of everything you need. Underground parking. I do not know how the hotel will age, but for now it is the best you can get in the area.

This hotel was a little disappointing. There were a few things in the room that the designers tried to cut corners on to save money. The items they chose to do this made the room look a bit cheap. It was clean and easy to get to though. I must say that the staff that we dealt with were pleasant to deal with as well!

Super room, super location

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. I highly recommend staying there when in Sherbrooke!

The hotel is nicely located near a beautiful small lake. In fact only two things prevented me from giving a higher rating: the room's door are not cutting the outside sound (having the impression of sleeping in the corridor) and for the price of the stay, the "continental" breakfast should be significantly upgraded

My room had a fantastic view on the river and park. Also when you turn on the TV there is a nice fire on the screen with nice soothing music. Very nice, The lobby and adjoining bar are very inviting and nicely decorated. I would go back,

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very clean, well maintained, and stylish in its appearance. The bar at the hotel was also really nice and the staff were all very nice and respectful. We strongly recommend this place.

1. Did not realize a hotel can not have room service or a restaurant as this one did not. 2. Extra charges applied for which side of the hotel you stayed on....not haow high you are. 3. Pool not working for three days during stay. Was with the family and my 9 year old daughter could not go swimming as the water was extremely cold 4. Hotel receptionists were not very friendly

I am a bit of a Hotel Snob typically 5 Star or better, I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the Hotel and If you get a room Lakeside the view is outstanding!!! 12/15/2011 BD

Verify nice hotel but they would do well to invest in some additional cribs as the hotel only seems to have a single crib available. We traveled with a 5 month old but were lucky our room had a second bed and that our baby can not roll over yet. Would have given them five stars save for the strong smell of new carpet in the hallways.

Hip and cool. Right on the edge of great bike trails

As a sales professional, I travel extensively and have stayed at virtually every major hotel. On a recent trip to Sherbroooke, Canada I booked a stay at the Grand Times Hotel. What a great surpirse and experience it was. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the hotel decor was super cool and nicely appointed and the rooms couldn't be nicer and more comfortable. Everything was first class but the rate. I just wish this hotel had more locations as it would be my first choice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Chambre = numéro 1, très bien. Points négatifs : Déjeuner dans de la vaisselle en plastique, pas de peignoirs dans les chambres (pour aller à la piscine). Appréciation générale = très bonne

Belles chambres et emplacement idéal. À quoi bon se vanter d'avoir un bar dans l'hôtel si celui-ci est fermé à 23h un samedi soir ? "Désolé monsieur je ne peux pas vous servir, ma caisse est fermée depuis 23h..." Notez les factures aux numéros de chambre et vous n'avez pas besoin de "caisse"!! Lors de mon départ, la dame de la réception était courtoise mais la veille, aucune politesse de la part du personnel de la réception et du bar.

Les chambres sont très propres et la salle de bain très belle.La céramique du plancher est vraiment à mon goût.Nous n'avons pas entendu les voisins (samedi soir) et l'hôtel est bien situé avec plein de commerces et restaurants autour.Un seul problème,le système de clef.On a besoin de la clef de la chambre pour faire fonctionner l'ascenseur et même les sorties de secours.Ça rend les visites entre chambres plus compliquées ,ma femme,par exemple , était partie rendre visite à sa mère à l'étage inférieur avec ma fille ,celle ci voulut me rejoindre et prit la clef pour monter d'un étage.Plus tard , ma femme crut pouvoir prendre l'escalier de secours pour monter à notre étage , mais quelle ne fut pas sa surprise de ne plus pouvoir sortir ,à aucun étage,parce qu'elle n'avait pas sa clef.Il lui a fallu cogner pendant plusieurs avant qu'une femme de chambre vienne lui ouvrir.La direction de l'hôtel me dit que ce système a été instauré pour assurer la sécurité des clients et empêcher l'accès des autres étages à certains clients sur le "party". Malgré tout je recommande l'hôtel pour ses autres qualités.

Personnelle courtois, manque d'éclairage au rez de chaussé en face des ascenseurs, café ordinaire au petit déjeuner.

Piscine trop froide

L'hôtel est magnifique, tout près d'un lac et d'une promenade. Il y a des restaurants tout près. Le petit déjeuner, continental, dans le cadre d'un congrès, laissait à désirer... De plus, pour un établissement qui se targue de son approche écologique, les couverts en styromousse et les ustensiles de plastique ne sont pas de mise. J'y retournerais.

Très bel hôtel, ambiance feutrée, moderne. Personnel attentionné. La place et le lac devant l'hôtel permettent de faire un jogging très sympa. Seul bémol, le petit déjeuner qu'on aimerait voir plus garni et avec des produite plus frais (fruits et jus de fruits). On y reviendra.

Beau look, propre et bien situé mais manque de confort du au manque de choix d'oreiller et mauvaise insonorisation ( dans les couloirs)

Très bonne hotel, très satisfait. Bien situé et personnels attentionnés.
