L Hotel Island South - הונג קונג

מלון מצויין, השרות בה מאוד אדיב, החדר לא היה מוכן כשהגענו אז הושיבו אותנו לקפה ופינקו אותנו קצת. כל בעיה שהיתה בחדר נפתרה תוך 2-3 דקות. המלון ברמת גימור מעולה ומאוד מזמין. יש שרות shuttle מהמלון למרכז העיר כל חצי שעה בחינם שהיה מאוד טוב. היינו עם שני ילדים, גם מהבחינה הזאת היה מצויין. התינוקת קיבלה עריסה חמודה (יותר שווה מזו שיש לנו בבית). פינוק של ממש לסוף טיול ארוך.

זה מלון מאד נקי ושקט.גישה טובה בשאטל לעיר.

חיבור אלחוטי מעולה בחדרים. נוף לעיר. החדרים קרובים מאד לכביש המהיר - 24/7 רועש. האורחים בחדרים הסמוכים לעיתים קרובות גסים וקולניים. קירות דקים.

הזמנו חדר עם שתי מיטות ליחיד ושוכנו בחדר עם מיטה בסגנון מיטת שדה דחוקה לפינה כלומר החדר הפך לחדר לשלושה והמשמעות הייתה גם שלא היה לנו מקום לזוז בחדר בכלל. החדר היה מאד נקי והמצעים יפים. המיטות היו קשות מאד ולמרות שזו לא הייתה בעיה עבורי, היא יכלה להיות בעיה לאחרים. המשמעות כן הייתה שמידת הנוחות נפגעה במעט משום שלא יכולתי להתכרבל במיטתי. כשעשינו צ'ק אין, היה אדם מדבר בטלפון מאחורי הדלפק והוא התעלם מאיתנו במשך לפחות 10 דקות לפני שקרא לעובד נוסף לעשות לנו צ'ק אין. שוב חיכינו לפחות 10 דקות בזמן שהוא התעסק במשהו וכששאלנו אם יש בעיה הוא פשוט ענה "לא" ולא נתן שום הסבר. המקום נותן תחושה סטרילית אך משום שרק נזקקנו לחדר לישון בו הדבר לא הפריע לנו כל כך, אך אילו היינו נשארים שם למספר ימים, הייתי בוחר מקום מרכזי יותר ושיש בו הרגשה טובה יותר. לא בטוח אם הייתי ממליץ או לא אבל משום שיש רק אופציה אחת לרשום כן או לא, אמרתי כן מכיוון שהוא לא היה נורא כמו מקומות אחרים בהם שהיתי, אך אל תלכו בציפייה למותרות או אקסטרות.

סידור חדר נחמד מאד ונוח. החדר מאד גדול ונקי. שירותי השאטל מספקים מאד. בסך הכל, זה מלון מעולה לשהות בו.

מאוד מאכזב! צוות חצוף, צ'ק אאוט לא גמיש (אפילו ל-10 דקות), החניה יקרה, אין בריכה בחורף, אין סאונה, מכון כושר מלוכלך. חדרים רועשים. אני לא ממליץ על המלון!

מלון נחמד, ליד ocean park. ארוחת בוקר מינימלסיטית, אין אוכל מבושל, רק קר או מוכן מראש... עדיף לתפוס את האוטובוס המוקדם ולאכול בחנויות המטרו במקום לשלם על ארוחת בוקר יקרה.... שירות האוטובוס נוח ונחמד, מפצה על המרחק מהעיר, תשהו כאן אם אינכם יכולים למצוא מקום באותו מחיר במרכז או ב- TST.

מלון חדיש טוב ונקי, תמורה טובה לכסף, מעט מרוחק אבל עם שאטל סדיר. הייתי שוהה שם שוב בזכות המחיר, והעובדה שהוא חדש.

מושלם, מלבד המיקום שהוא מעט מרוחק. לעומת זאת התחבורה נוחה מאד! תחנת האוטובוס היא ממש מחוץ למלון, יש שם הרבה אוטובוסים לתחנה המרכזית, causeway bay !! מלון מצוין, לא תתחרטו על הבחירה!:)

רק דלפק קבלה אחד. החדר היה קר מאד. שירות השאטל היה חינם אך לא הופיע. נאלצנו להמתין שעתיים. הייתי ממליץ להשתמש במוניות. הלכנו לבית הקפה, נאלצתי ללכת כדי למצוא מישהו להזמין ממנו את האוכל שלנו.

ה L מספק את האיזון המושלם בין שירות לקוחות למיקום. הוא במיקום מרוחק מעט אך האופי הקשוב, המועיל והשם לב לפרטים של העובדים מפצה על חיסרון זה. קחו חדר עם נוף להר ומעל לקומה העשירית - החוויה שווה את ההנחות שהמלון מציע.

Good nice big room for HK. Close to Ocean Park 15 min walk. Bus stop in front to go to Causeway Bay. Hotel shuttle hourly but only a 28 seater bus and get filled up quickly. Free upgrade and free apple is very nice touch. Not many eateries around hotel. So eat before going back or have food inside hotel restuarant.

I really enjoyed my stay i Hong Kong. I also really enjoyed the srvice Hotels.com gave me. I originally booked my room for the wrong day and they allowed me to change it with no issues. I am in the Navy on deployment and all I wanted in Hong Kong was a day of rest and relaxation and hotels.com made it happen Thanks

Location sucks being south in Aberdeen. Only thing going is an easy walk to Ocean Park. Great shuttle service to HK station though. Breakfast buffet was a little lean in selection. This is a quality hotel at an inexpensive price! Would stay again.

We travelled to Hong Kong with our four children and had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Whilst it was a little out of the way, it was within walking distance of Ocean Park, which delighted our four children! And the bus service provided by the hotel was excellent - just make sure that you are down early for the bus, as it does fill up quickly! Only downside that we noticed when we were leaving was that there was nowhere to sit and wait for our taxi. We had checked out earlier in the day, came back to collect our luggage and there literally was nowhere to wait - unless we wanted to go to the restaurant and eat. Seems that once you've checked out, you've checked out. That said, I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay when visiting Hong Kong.

I was on a trip which required me to be at the jockey club early in the morning. This hotel was perfect for that purpose - only takes a leisurely 5-10 minutes walk to reach the jockey club. However, apart from this, there's probably no other reason to choose a hotel in this location. There's absolutely nothing decent nearby to eat / shop / see, unless you fancy being near Ocean Park (hotel provides complimentary shuttle bus). There's an esso and 7-eleven across Wong Chuk Hand road.. but that's probably as much civilisation as you're gonna get without vehicular transport. To its credit, the hotel itself is well maintained and the rooms are relatively spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Definitely clean. Sound insulation not the best.. so you can hear noisy chatter from the corridor once in a while, and you know when your neighbour is running the tap. Hotel gym is decent sized with fair range of machines. You can forget about the pool or poolside lounging.. it's there just so that they can claim to have a "swimming pool".. I estimate the length to be 10 metres only. Pricing is competitive to make up for their lousy location (do take into account taxi fares to get yourself to civilisation though). Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to/fro airport express terminal at Hong Kong station, so you can purchase a 2-way train ticket when you arrive at HKIA. Hotel staff are extremely polite and i was very happy with the service provided.

good for budget travellers wanting to experience a semi luxurious hotel in Hong Kong. Loud AC in the rooms, quite a lot of mainland chinese guests, otherwise great for the price. When the MTR is up and running to Aberdeen it will surely be easier to get to the other parts of town quickly.

Great hotel, seemed brand new. Very elegant facilities and good customer service. Easy transportation from and to central, with a free shuttle service. Highly recommended. USA standard for a 5 star hotel maybe, with a much more economic price.

Hotel room looks new and modern and also very clean. It has a good gym. Service at reception, bell-hop, guest services and gym was excellent. The guest services manager is exceptionally pleasant and service-oriented. There is a convenient regular shuttle to Hong Kong MTR station. Overall, pleasant stay for the family.

Stay for 5 nights. As the duration includes New Years Day, the room tariff is reasonably affordable as compare to most hotels during that period, which had me choose this hotel. No regrets. Location is not of the best but they do have shuttle service taking you to & fro of MTR Hong Kong station. Room is decently huge as compare to those in downtown. So if you wish to have 5 star hotel at 3 star tariff, without much fuss with location & it's surrounding then this hotel is the one for you. P/S Do note that the shuttle service is on first come first serve basis with no seat reservation permitted so do get in the queue early so as not to be disappointed.

Hotel is posh and the room is big comparatively. Location isn't ideal but The shuttle service makes travelling a lot easier.

Really nice, modern and clean hotel, we love our stay. Good Service as well and close to Oceans Park with compli shuttle. Well stay again!

I travelled to Hong Kong for a week with my wife and 2 kids. We took a chance with L'hotel island south which looked like great value for the quality of the hotel. While it is located on the south side of the island, it is actually very convenient as the hotel runs a regular shuttle to the centre. It was absolutely fantastic. So if you are worried about location you don't need to. Yes you won't be in the centre but actually after spending a whole day in the middle of crowds and lights and cars, coming back to the quiet side of the island was quite good. We also took the shuttle back from pre-specific pick up points at the central stations which was quite easy. The hotel itself is quite new (2 years old only) and hence has all the things you would get in a new hotel. The rooms are big, quite beautifully appointed and generally comfortable. The room was taken care of everyday. Ask for a high floor if you can - the views must be a lot better. There was no breakfast included and we just used to get something outside. The restaurant on site was not just ok and by hong kong standards felt a bit expensive. We ate outside the hotel every day. The hotel is also great to get to Ocean Park (you can walk or take the hotel's shuttle) and for places like Stanley. The pool was ok - water was somewhat cold. All in all, I would say that if you not too stuck up about your location, and are looking for good value for money for only a slight compromise on location, this is a brilliant hotel.

I had a very enjoyable stay. The location is not near the hustle and bustle of the town center areas. But the shuttle bus service is great! It runs quite frequently and made it very convenient while helping me save money on bus fares. The out-of-city-center location was nice actually because it gave me a chance to properly relax after a busy day! Staff were friendly and helpful. Whenever I phoned the service line it was answered promptly. The hotel was well maintained and my room was clean. Pity I didn't get a chance to use all the facilities the hotel offered! The hotel's not cheap but it's quite reasonably priced taking all aspects into consideration. Overall, I'm very happy with my time here and would definitely stay here again.:)

Very nice place but no close by places to eat except the hotels very expensive restaurant...

The hotel is just good for those who are planning to go to oceanpark only but in fairness to them they do have shuttles to send you in central places like kowloon. We are not satisfied because even their foods is not that satisfying. The buffet is not that worth it for their prices. The place is not recommended for budget tour because outside of the hotel you cannot easily find restaurants to eat.

It's a 5 star hotel at 3.5 star price. Location was a concern but there are many buses going into the Wan Chai that you don't need to be worry. Rooms are quiet and large and staff is friendly. Great in room wifi. Will stay again if they don't increase the price.

Excellent!!!

Over all this hotel falls just short of a 5 rate because of its location, neighborhood and hard to find since it has no real front. Front door is in the garage! Neighborhood is highly industrial with no restaurants, clubs or theaters within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are large for China and clean. The whole property is spotless. Buffet is sumptuous but a bit pricy. No competing restaurants in walking distance. In-room wi-fi fast and reliable.

I thought it was a terrible place. First, you can not get any assistant from anyone and its too far away from everything.

The hotel location is not very good. Nothing around. The hotel is confortable and luxurious.
