The Merlin Beach Resort is a complete getaway. Its slightly out of the way location and the fact that it has everything possibly required makes it easy to get lost in. The staff were great and so were the facilities. The only bad point is the beach, at low tide its near impossible to go swimming due to the rocks and bleached coral. Having said that though its easy to just pick one of the three awesome pools to go for a swim in.

Fantastic, second time there. Complimentary bus times from hotel have changed, so you can end up having to get a taxi back, (which costs you around 250 baht, so it won't break the bank). Overall, very happy, aside from spending bucketloads of baht on accomodation, then being charged 60 baht at the end of the stay for a broken ashtray.. Brekky buffet is fantastic, staff very friendly and helpful, and would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a great getaway. And it's out of Patong central, so you can actually sleep at night when you want too!!

Overall stay was comfortable and pleasant. Facilities were good. Staff did not have a good command of English language and it was difficult to communicate. Methane smell in grounds made trip uncomfortable.

The Merlin Beach Resort has good rooms , our room on the front block with direct ocean view was nicely furnished , King Bed , good aircon , well fitted bathroom , decent 4 Star standard . They could supply better transport to town but taxi's and tuk tuks are plentiful if not cheap . Eat at the Little Tiger on the hill , chilled place with great food .Management can pay some attention to 4th floor corridor , broken windows with timber board in place of glass does Maintenance Dept no credit

If you are looking for a holiday where you just want to laze around the pool and not much more the Merlin Beach Resort is for you.. Its away from the hustle and bustle of Patong which is a good thing but there isnt anything to do in the surrounding area. There is a courtesy bus that will take you into the city at different times but if l stayed there more than the 3 days l booked for l would have gone crazy. Breakfast was good with a wide range to choose from but l didnt find the staff as attentive as they should have been. The Little Tiger restaurant on the hill just to the left of the resort is fantastic and would highly recommend it. The massage place underneath it was pretty good too..they might be little but boy have they got strong hands. Rooms were very clean,huge beds and lovely bathroom. The set up with all of the electricals managed one unit next to your bed was quite a novelty as was the t.v. Nice resort but very big and not as friendly or personal as the last one we had stayed at up North.

"Great pool and breakfast buffet"

The pool is great and the breakfast buffet was very satisfying. The location is a bit out of the way, but they do have a shuttle bus that takes you to Patong. Cab rides are about 200 Baht each. The beach was inaccessible when we were there. The room was nice and the bathroom was very spacious

Замечания по пляжу : очень много камней и кораллов , хорощобы привести в порядок дно .

パトンビーチのエリアにありながら、ホテルのビーチは別でゆったりできました。磯遊びとシュノーケリングを楽しみました。

pool was very nice,breakfast was so so,staff was good,
プールは真ん中にプールに入りながら飲めるバーがあって美味しいし毎火、土曜はハッピーアワーもあるしかなりいいです。スタッフも明るくておしゃべりも楽しい。部屋にはアリがいっぱいいましたが、フロントに言うと退治してくれました。
日本人はほとんどいないみたいで、欧米人ばかりでした。外国気分にひたるにはいいと思います。
プーケットのナイトタウンである、パトンビーチにはタクシー＆トゥクトゥクで往復550バーツほどかかります。
ホテル前にたむろっているタクシー達はすれてて値引き交渉も大変です。
全般的にお勧めですが、英語ができるほうが楽しめるホテルかもしれません。
