Overall really nicely designed hotel, with free coffee, water and soda a plus. Stayed in the Queen room, but the bed felt more like a full size bed than a queen...otherwise everything else was perfect. Staff was absolutely lovely.

My mom and I visited Boston for a weekend and needed a conveniently located place to stay. The hotel is very accessible, the service is great, the room was clean and comfortable. Overall great experience. Recommended.

The staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful. Convenient location to T station and coffee/breakfast places. Beautiful building in lovely neighborhood.

This hotel is great. Very clean and classy. The staff are so nice and helpful, We even got upgraded to a room with a balcony. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable. I recommend this hotel very nice...

I was there for only one day. I spend a lot of time in Boston hotels. This one was one o the best. I will try and book it agian if the price is right..

Although the rooms of this property are small, the building is most likely a former boarding house for Harvard students. That said, the limited space is adequate and the bed comfortable. It meets a warrior's needs unless you want to work in your room for any length of time. Great neighborhood - Harvard Square - and easily walkable to shops, restaurants, mass transit and the campus. I'd stay here again in a moment.

Although our room was very small, it was elegantly appointed, very clean, and recently updated. The lobby was warm and inviting and the staff was incredibly helpful. I'd love to return.

Clean, fresh, and luxurious

Really enjoyed my one-night stay here. The rooms are not huge, but are very comfortable. I was even upgraded to a room with a small balcony. Everything still felt new, or had recently been remodeled. Free WiFi worked great. I would definitely stay again...

Booked a queen room but was given a king. Room was so small and bed so large that you could barely move, no place for luggage etc and no drawers for unpacking. Other features of the hotel were very nice, but we will not return. Room was just too small, even for seasoned European travelers like us.

I ended up snowed in during Nemo, but I LOVED my stay at Hotel Veritas. The staff was incredibly friendly and the complimentary beverages were a nice welcome. The rooms are well-appointed, though a bit small. The exterior of the hotel is a little rough, but the inside is modern and beautiful. I highly recommend the hotel as an alternative to the Charles or Commander.

i stayed here for a quick business overnight trip. while im familiar with the area, i had never stayed at this gem of a hotel. the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was charming and comfortable. would definitely stay here again.

Wonderfully personal, well appointed, no "extra" charges (free wifi and beverages), and good Cambridge location. Only downside, rooms are a tad small. Comfy, but small. Definitely will go back.

This hotel far surpasses any other option in Harvard Sq in the ~$150 range. Real three- or four-star luxury for two-star price.

The hotel is new, clean, in a great location to Harvard Square and Cambridge. We were disappointed at the size of the room. We stayed in the deluxe queen and there was hardly enough room for our suitcases. We called the front desk when we saw the size of the room and had decided to only stay one night instead of the three. The receptionist said he would call us back. He never did and never acknowledged our unhappiness with the space, though we saw him several times over the next few days. We used valet parking which proved to be a real convenience, though pricey. Overall, despite being ignored as unhappy customers, our stay was satisfactory.

Exceptional service and friendly staff. They also don't nickel-and-dime you to death. Water bottles in the room were no additional charge, same for internet, and they have free coffee/espresso/water/juice in the lobby at all times. Just a very nice stay.

The Hotel Veritas is a little gem just outside of Harvard Square. Tastefully decorated and well maintained. I'll recommend to friends and will visit again.

The hotel staff were particularly nice. There is valet parking. Also, the hotel is located close to many restaurants. The one downside is that the room was a bit small, but otherwise it was a very nice hotel. I would stay there again on my next visit to the Boston area.

Very nice comfortable room. Small but didn't plan on jogging inside anyway. 2 minute walk to Harvard square. will try and stay there from now on, as long as the price stays reasonable

Great little hotel in the heart of Harvard Square. The rooms were cozy and inexpensive. The staff was GREAT.

The hotel was having widespread issues with drainage, so the bathroom sink wouldn't drain. Kind of yuck. And, while there is an individual thermostat, the room was overheated even with the unit turned off. The staff was very nice at check-in and the room/building are pretty. Location is excellent.

I travel for business all around the world and this is one of my favorite hotels anywhere. The staff is as good as they could possibly be. They offer free water, juice and cappuccino 24 hours a day. Location adjacent to Harvard couldn't be better. Rooms are stylish and modern but a little on the small side. This was my second stay at this hotel and I wouldn't go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed.

Service was great. Room was clean and well appointed. Our room was small, but we got a great rate. Well worth it!

The stay was fine but the "upgrade" was actually a downgrade. On line we paid for the most expensive room on offer. The upgrade was a tiny room next to the elevator with a "queen" bed much smaller than our queen at home. The only thing that could be called an upgrade was the balcony, but since it was 35 degrees and raining outside, that wasn't really an upgrade. When I mildly complained, the woman at the desk just wanted to argue about whether it was really a queen-sized bed or not. Ugh.

While the hotel is in a great area and close to the Harvard subway, there is a downside to that close proximity, namely the subway noise. Because the subway runs right under the main street along Mass. it's quite noisy and one can actually feel the bed shaking as the subway passes. I got used to it admittedly but it was a bit of surprise the first night. Also my room faced Mass. which can be noisy with lots of people traffic. The hotel is also right across from Oberon which a club that does a disco infused version of Midsummer Night's Dream and on Saturday night the area is very busy with line ups of mostly college students. Bottom line: be prepared for noise. All that said, I did enjoy the hotel itself and the staff was generally helpful. The rooms are small but that's fine when you're only there for sleeping.

Great location in Harvard square. The rooms are on the small side, but the decor, furnishings and attention to detail more than make up for it. I've stayed in several hotels in Cambridge, and this is one of my favorite. No room service or restaurant, but close to the many restaurant offerings in Harvard square.

This was my second stay at Hotel Veritas - it's now my go-to hotel in Cambridge. The staff is extraordinary in their attention to guests and truly make you feel at home. I was especially surprised to find a note and special treat in my room thanking me for my return visit. The rooms are not huge but they are very comfortable and well appointed . I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go in Cambridge. The amenities are great - free water, juice, coffee, and internet as well as access to a nearby gym. The lobby is very comfortable and on my last visit when it was cold - very cozy.

The hotel was a great surprise, as we booked our room at the last minute. We had friendly service. The room was lovely and clean (though our petite queen room was very small). The location was terrific-- close to Harvard Square, easy walking to all kinds of things. We hope to be back!

I stayed at Hotel Veritas for 3 nights on a recent business trip. I had a great experience. The staff were super friendly, room was impeccably clean and cosy, and the location worked great for me.
