PHILAE HOTEL - אסואן

Great room, large and a view to the Nile. Manager was helpfully responsive and made our stay relaxing. Situated in the middle of the town.

During our stay in this hotel we feel like home, staff are accomodating and nice. The location is great and we feel safe. Thanks to the management.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Our room was exceptional with some lovely welcoming touches such as the rose petals on our bed. The manager (Hanan) was extremely professional and most gracious in helping us with a travel problem. We would highly recommend this hotel for travelers to Aswan. The location is great for restaurants etc but sometimes noisy with cars. Even so this did not detract from an extremely pleasant stay. This hotel is a great choice when visiting the region.

As others have said, it was a little noisy on the Nile-view side, but not much; if I'd thought to use my ear-plugs I'd never have noticed. And in all other respects it was top-notch-- and excellent value.

We were surprised at how nice the Philae Hotel was after reading the reviews. The place has been completely redone and is very clean, comforable and in a great location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Also, free internet access. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Aswan.

Friendly staff. Room well cleaned. Sometimes a little bit noisy because of the traffic jam on the Corniche Road. Good address to stay in Aswan.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. The manageress Hanan and her staff were most helpful and hospitable. She welcomed us with a delicious glass of fresh lemon juice. Although we we arrived somewhat early, we were given immediate access to our room. Similarly, as our train did not leave until 7:30 p.m., we were allowed to retain the room until 6 p.m. at no additional charge. The room had a Nile view. Although the facilities were somewhat basic, it was clean and comfortable. The luncheon menu was limited but the food was good. We would certainly stay at the Philae again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Hors saison, j'ai ete surclasse de standard a suite presidentielle pour le meme prix. Deux pieces, mini bar au prix bien moins cher que dans mon petit hostel du Caire, tele grand ecran plat, frigo, balcon sur le nil, corbeille de fruits dont de delicieuses bananes. Un peu bruyant malgre le double vitrage mais avec les ears plugs ca allait et les deux pieces etaient tellement sympa que ca contrebalancait. Cuisine tres bonne le midi. Le personnel etait plus que competent et serviable. Ils se sont charge de reserver les transports pour des prix plus que raisonnable (j'ai compare) et ont appelle pour moi pour confirmer ou reserver mes destinations suivantes. Mention speciale aux 2 Mohamed, extremement sympas et efficaces.

Hotel confortable, très propre, chambres très grandes et confortables, bien équipées, bonne literie, mobiler moderne et neuf Nous avions une chambre pour trois qui était constituée de deux pièces l'une avec deux lits jumeaux et l'autre avec un grand lit, sans porte entre les deux., et une chambre pour deux personnes constituée de deux pièces aussi, un petit salon et la chambre avec un grand lit. Il y avait une bouilloire avec thé et café et petits gateaux dans chaque chambre, excellent accueil, le personnel est aux petits soins. Nous n'avions pas le temps de prendre notre petit déjeuner avant de partir pour l'aéroport et on nous a donné des boîtes à emporter avec un petit déjeuner extrêmement copieux et complet. Nos chambres donnaient à l'arrière de l'hotel et étaient de ce fait un peu sombres. La mosquée était proche et du fait de l'aérateur dans la salle de bain et de l'absence d'une vraie porte entre celle-ci et la chambre( porte repliable légère), on entend le bruit de la rue et de la mosquée... Hotel proche du souk,du centre, au bord du Nil dans un quartier animé. Un hotel à recommander.

tres bien situe,chambres confortables avec balcon et belle vue sur le Nil et surtout un accueil tres chaleureux et tres serviable et efficace pour tous les renseignements pratiques pour organiser le sejour:merci a Marcelle,Berigit et Mohamed Ahmed.

veldig fornyd med servicen, god middag fra restauranten, litt støy fra trafikken utenfor, men superutsikt. hvis man hvis ha det mest mulig stille, kan man be om rom inn mot bakgården, men da mister man utsikten, anbefales totalt sett :-)
