For the great price of this hotel you are getting wonderful value. The hotel is very clean, rooms in the 400 section were very modern and nicely decorated. The staff and service is excellent. Had a great time with 4 friends and would definitely return.

The first day we had a lot of inconvenience, but after that was okey

The shame of it is that the property has potential. Yet from the front desk on, its a very different concept. Ex: the phone in my room did not work and replacemnt came day & half later (which didnt work also). There was a dead bird on my poolside view deck (ground floor) the entire 4 days i was there. There were 0 towels in my room for the first day. The food in buffet was not bad, yet to reserve any of the 2 other restaurants (not 5) was not told that it has to be 24 hrs before. The place was empty why so long? Just an extra side note, I got the nicer suite and the TV was a 26 LCD vs 40 or 50 in any room this size I ve ever been too. In fact couldnt see it because of a bed post on my side of the bed, lol. The hotel was also under construction which limited access areas. I asked for a souvenier key (logo card key)(mine was plain white) and was told NO sorry! 90% those get tossed anyways and to top off my stay they said no. Wait it get better, they try to sell you on vacation club for thier hotel system and say its because you are not VIP service now but will be! LOL . The first answer out of any question is ... NO then they think about it. They say it very nicely btw with a nice smile. Oh I had no blanket on my bed the first two days just sheets. I am so upset the little time I have to relax and wasted it here. I asked to talk to GM and was told he was at lunch..... 11 am. If you wait 3 yrs and they get a new owner the place might be nice.

the hotel has a new tower call presidential suites it is located off on the other end of the main property which means a loooong walk from the front desk. This wouldnt be a problem if the phones where connected to the main building so that you dont have to walk everytime you had to handle any kind of issue with them. BUT they can activate the safes which you have to pay for from the front desk automatically but again if you did not do that at check in you will have to YES walk back to set it up. They are wayyy under staffed i had to constantly wait by the pool bar for a beer and the food was constantly running out. The presidential suites are nice rooms but not worth the money considering the rest of the property almost ....the rooms might be worth it the rest of the property complimented them.

It has a good location,and my room(loft) was great.I know that some of the others room are not that great..The beach is good for kids too.But somehow the people working there are doing it best for not filling ypur needs,not the beach people,thy are good. But the people working in the lobby..They needed 3 days to make the aircondition to work,and the minibar was hot and seldom refilled...during my stay. And if you complained they just said ok,and promiced to fix it but it doesnt happen.In every hotel i have stayed else were in domunican republic, the people working in the hotel have been doing there best to make you happy,but here you have too look for the waiters.Just to say,if you dont have to stay close to santo domingo and have a beach at the same time.Stay away..There is a lot of better hotels to better prices elsewhere.It a little bit sad because the hotel has a good location to visit santo domingo and still enjoy th beach

Had a number of problems. 1. Safe didn't work had to move to another room. 2. Water drained from sheer to floor the drain was stopped up in bathroom water everywhere, take much too long to unstop drain. 3. Bannister broken on stairwell in room, never repaired. 4. Final straw, water flooded room thru window. Was told to wait until 3 to change room. Curtains, couch and other furniture wet from Irene. It was awful. After 4 hours of trying to resolve I insisted on checking out and getting credit for remaining nights. People waited at front desk for hoursand they seemed totally unconcerned. I had to act a fool to get results.

Nous étions dans une suite rénovée, c'est plutôt propre et confortable. par contre, nous n'avons jamais réussi à réserver dans l'un des restaurants (toujours complet par hasard et pourtant quand on passe devant le restaurant est presque vide). La qualité du buffet n'est vraiment pas bonne. c'est un hôtel qui accueille trop de touriste et de tour opérateurs... beaucoup de monde un peu cheap ! les transats autour de la plage sont toujours prises et en plus mal entretenu. le wifi est payant. l'accueil n'est pas professionnel. nous avons attendu 16h pour avoir notre chambre

Points negatifs: Réception (chek in) très très mauvais. Restauration médiocre Points positifs: Chambre présidentielle suite de bonne facture Hôtel bien situé à proximité de l'aeroport et 20 min de st domingo

Ich bin in dem Hotel sicher 10mal gewesen und habe es diesesmal als absolute Katastrofe erlebt. Es ist das unterste Nivo für ein Hotel. Es beginnt bei der Reception das Sie keine Fremdsprache sprechen und absolut keine Berufserfahrung haben. Sie besitzen im ganzen Hotel kein Schirm. und die Zimmer sind im schlechten Zustand. Das Essen hat keine Kategorie einfach schlimm. Ich werde dieses Hotel nie mehr Buchen.
