This hotel is very well organised and managed. The room has been clean, and the bathroom has everything one needs. A few inconvenients: the breakfast and the location. We like a nice continental breakfast, with lots of choices, which usually costs around $10.00. This was not the case. We have been wakened in the middle of the night by powerful knockings at the door for which we would not have received even an appologize if we would not have raised the issue at the reception next morning. But this are facts of life. All in all, we loved our trip, and we enjoyed our stay at ALT, but if we would have to go back to Quebec City, we would stay at Hilton or Marriott.

The room was gorgeous, the bed was really comfy. Free parking, the hotel is just accross the street from a big fancy mall, but a long drive to the old city. The only resturant in the hotel was too expensive, and the room service options were too. If they can't have a low cost cafe option than I think they should have included complimentary coffee in the room, that would have made the morning much nicer for me. Sometimes it is the little things that are off putting, I didn't like that they were charging $2 for coffee packets...every other hotel we stayed at included at least one free coffee. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Had a great stay - lovely room - very clean and comfortable. Shower was great - pressure was very strong though. Bathroom would also need a few towel rails to hang towels. However would definitely stay again - good location near shopping and not far from Old Quebec downtown.

Everything was perfect! The location is not the best. In fact, when you just get to the hotel parking lot it doesn't look too nice (a strip mall, no personality, no style and a Zellers across the street). But as soon as we walked into the hotel we were quite amazed. The rooms were impeccable- so stylish, clean and comfy. We almost forgot about it being in a strip mall.

Top notch accommodations. Easy access from major highways. Appreciated the valet parking service. Convenient location for shopping but need to use car or public transit to reach the main tourist areas. We would definitely use this hotel again.

We stayed here on our third night of a four day Quebec trip. After spending two nights in Vieux Quebec, we were a bit worried about going outside the Old City but we need not have been. ALT Hotel was absolutely stunning on the inside. The room was beautiful, the bathroom had the best shower, good shampoo and conditioner, and a gorgeous fluffy robe. Soft jazz music was playing when we entered the room, and the furnishings and lights were amazing. There's a bus 3 minutes walk from the hotel that takes 15 minutes to get into Old Quebec, and it runs until 2 AM I believe. So this is the perfect hotel.

It was a quick "overnight" after a long drive but we could well imagine staying there for a longer time. Staff firendly and helpful, amenities superb, stylishness much appreciated. Now if you could just do something about the weather . . .

ALT hotel was better than we expected. We liked everything about it. Having Starbucks steps away is great . Room was exceptionally clean and bed was comfortable. The only fault we found was that shower was leaking, they should put something to prevent it. Location was OK, taking bus 800 or 801 to downtown was pleasant. We will come again.

My stay was very good.

I regularly rent hotels on a weekend to get away on short holidays... This hotel was amazingly comfortable and made us feel at home away from home. Their price remains the same all year round. The shower was amazing with its shower head that could be easily adjusted. There was no noise and the curtains keep the room dark if needed. The music system creates a welcoming atmosphere in your room. You'll be happy to rest at this hotel!

If someone likes modern style this hotel is for you!! The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is also very clean.

We go there one or two times per year and it is always the same service and the same quality at the reception. Everything is perfect.

We had a reservation for 2 nights but we decided to stay an extra night.Very nice hotel,clean,modern and right next door to Place Laurier,and two other malls.We didnt try the restaurant,but did have room service for breakfast one morning,which was delicious.The staff were very helpful and friendly.

But nothing to see or do around it. The hotel is very nice, very modern, although the decor is a tad cold to my personal taste. I didn't like that they put coffee makers in the rooms, but charge for the coffee itself.

The hotel rooms were very small, did not have great ambience.The shower was leaky as water kept on flowing out and the roof was also leaky. The rooms did not come with even basic necessities like coffee or tea had to purchase everything and trust me it is not a good experience getting up first thing in am and going down to the reception to buy a coffee packets/pods. Can easily find much better facilities in the same price range.

Excellent service!! I loved the natural and biodegradable products and all the hotel policy to take care of the environnement. The only "bad" thing is that they charge you for coffee and you have to go downstairs to have it. The price per cup is too expensive! You should include at least 2 cups and charge for the extra.

I love the ALT Hotel! It is stylish, very clean and the staff is really helpful and friendly. We liked it so much we added on a third day to our stay in Quebec. It is a short drive into the old city, but also near a huge mall and plenty of places to get a bite to eat. You really can't get more for the price!

We spent 4 days in August in Quebec City. Staff at Alt Hotel were very friendly. Room was very well appointed but on the small size. While location is not near tourist areas, the "old" city is just down the road and easily reached by car. There is great shopping just across the street.

NIcely done hotel, with a few reservations. Clean, modern, nice to have Bose Wave radio playing eclectic music on arrival. In wall flat panel TV. Comfy bed and linens; quiet. Some things that need work: cannot send email ouf without changing server; chair at desk, while ergonomic (very nice) also juts out so easy to stub foot/toes; bathroom has nice shower and shaving mirror, but not enough lighting to shave. Overall, extremely helpful staff and nice design sense, with a few things to work on.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the Alt Hotel on Germain de Pres. We were very surprised by the friendliness of the staff and especially how clean our room was. The room is modernly decorated with all the necessary amenities. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely return to and recommend this hotel to anyone. Keep up the good work.

Pres des grands axes routier, wi fi automatique avec beau bureau pour travailer, lit super confo et service aux chambre avec très bon service. Bref, c'est mon hotel á Québec!

Très bien pour avoir le goùt d 'y retourner à nouveau .

Quelle chambre ! d'habitude je ne dors jamais les premières nuits dans un hôtel, mais là, j'ai tellement bien dormi que c'est certain que je vais y retourner. Tout est proche c'est incroyable !

Confort et tranquilité adéquats. Très décu de devoir payer pour le café.
