Convenient to the highway, cleanliness was fine, pillows actually good, rate a bargain. The only complaint would be that you could still hear some road noise, even though the motel is high on a hill above the highway.

Clean and good smelling room, ice machine and vending nearby. Very confortable bed, nice and friendly hospitality. Apeil 23, swimming pool not opened yet.

Great stay, but the neighborhood really made me nervous.

Checked in And checked right back out, room had 3 doors that lead into our room And only locked with a chain lock, 2 towels for 4 ppl, no shampoo, no cable TV, looked like it was never vacuumed! Tried to get some $$ back cause we didn't stay but they said no cause third party booking, NEVER STAY THERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY

I got what I paid for. A clean room in an older motel w/o a lot of bells and whistles. For the money it was fine.

The cops were at the bottom of the hill when we pulled in, so that should have been a clue about the neighborhood. The bed was horrible. We would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. The room smelled disgusting. There was mold on the ceiling above the bath tub. Things were broken in the bathroom. I have pictures! It was very overpriced for the condition of the room!!!

We stopped off on a trip through. We arrived at 2:00 in the morning after traveling but was no problem getting checked in. The room were spacious and bed comfortable. The breakfast was great, filling and waffles were fresh. The folks were as friendly as could be and I would highly recommend you stop here if you are looking for a budget hotel to stay on your trip.

Older Motel being renovated rooms very clean and mostly new fictures. Personel very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean but old. Thin carpet, moldy bathroom tiles. They were going to charge us to use sheets on the pull out couch.

Did not say there was a pet fee($10)on the internet,but that it was pet friendly

Good rooms, good value for the rooms, clean, decent service, not anything fancy, just a good place to stay if your on the road. An average but decent motel.

It's not a good sign when you cannot find your selected hotel in the yellow pages. The price was good, but then discovered why. Had large beetle like bug on the pillow, evidently under the covers. Hard to get someone to come to the front desk. Pool was listed, but not open. Overall, one of the worst experiences I have had with a hotels.com affiliate.

Loud, scary guys getting in fights in the hallway and parking lots until 4 AM, beds as hard as rocks and a fridge that wouldn't stop making a loud ticking noise. Also, there is one way in and one way out through a weird basement area and the balcony is blocked off so you can't get to the second floor. Hey, I'm a musician and have stayed in some scary places, but this was really awful. Front desk was friendly but overwhelmed. Spend three more dollars and go another hotel.

The hotel was a little off the beaten track and I wondered about the security. But the staff was pleasant and the rooms were clean. It was a good, affordable spot for a quick night's sleep after a long day on the road.

Adequate for an overnight stay but the place has seen it's better days. The room was clean and was not maloderous. It had a sofa, table, older TV, microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. The carpet was beginning to thin and had raised in several places due to vacuuming. The bathtub drain was slow and began to fill up quickly while showering. The main door had a single handle lock and a chain. I would have felt safer with a dead bolt.

I was pleasantly surprised! The room was huge, and it was clean. It's not the Plaza! The other guests were not a bunch of drunken yahoos and I felt very safe staying there. Great quick spot to stay on your way to Gatlinburg!

Served its purpose...was clean and comfortable - limited ammenities - easy access to stores and interstate.

The Travel Inn appears to cater to a lot of construction people, not a problem for us, but perhaps for others, with trucks going in and out at all hours. We are used to traveling with our dogs and this is the first time in our history (49 years) we have ever had to pay ($5/night) to leave our dogs in the car. That's the biggest minus. The shades did not keep out all the night lighting. The manager wss vety polite and helpful. We appreciated the presence of WiFi.

My husband and I stayed here on our way to Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving and were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They even had a light continental type breakfast in the lobby in the morning. We found this hotel by going online thru hotels.com We were able to park in front of our door and the parking lot had easy in and out access. Amesh (sp) was at the front desk when we checked in and was so personable and hospitable. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is a very good value. The room was spacious and very clean. Non-smoking rooms smelt like non-smoking rooms! Only downside is the hotel is not in the most convenient location and parking in the front is limited. I would have been disappointed to have a room in the back of the facility because the lighting on that side was very limited.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a good spot. Lots of eateries nearby, major roads nearby and easy to get to, older motel and older outdated furniture yet comfortable bed. Tub drain was very slow to empty out and some black mildew on shower walls. Never used the breakfast area, so can't comment on it. After checking out and driving half way to B'ham I realized I left a cooler in the room. When I got home there was a message from the manager about finding the cooler and wanted to know what to do. It would have been more that the price of a new cooler to ship it to me, so I told him to give it to the person who found it. That's why I rated the service a 5. This motel is used by construction men as their "home" and you have to fight the big pickup trucks for a parking space, plus look at some seedy characters hanging outside the rooms. However, there was never any problem and it was surprisingly quiet. The room size was also a surprise...big. All-in-all, not a bad place to stay and I would stay there again.

Was in town for a wedding and decided to stay here regardless of what some reviews had stated...needles to say I was very impressed, room was larger than I thought and very clean, arrived earlier then I thought I would and they let me check into my room a little earlier...very fast wifi as well

We stayed here two nights in July 2011. The good: The staff responded quickly to requests regarding the phone not working and a hair dryer. The rooms are clean,and the location is convenient to I-75. The less good: The hotel is showing its age. Drop ceilings in the shower, odd lighting (the switch for the light above the bathroom mirror was across the room at the door), an electric iron mark seared on the carpet. The bad: A locked hotel lobby at 1:00 in the afternoon on a Friday (which is check-in time) made us worry about the security of the facility. Untidy grounds didn't help. Overall: It was clean and economical, and suited our purposes of a mere place to sleep. I would not stay there with children, and recommend it only for those with similar purposes.

The hotel is located in a good area right off the interstate and near other hotels and businesses. The hotel attendant was very friendly and helpful with knowledge of the area. The room and grounds were very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. Thanks for a pleasant stay Travel Inn. Lj

When I rented this room online I couldn't see what it looked like. This place is run down and houses what I would consider transits. As soon as my wife got out of the car she was whistled at but two rednecks on the second floor. When I asked the manager for a refund he laughed and said those guys are just a little drunk. I left without a refund but I didn't have to worry about my safety, checked in across the street at a Fairfield inn. Stay away from this place, trust me.

If you're having an affair with a married man, this place is fine but I would not reccommend it for a family. The carpet was filthy. The beds were thin and rickety and the bed spread had a cigarette hole in our NON-SMOKING room that smelled like smoke covered in old lady floral air freshener.

Checked in LATE at night while travelling North on I-75. Place was fine for a quick place to sleep before beginning my trip anew the following morning. Not sure if this is somewhere I'd stay on vacation, but it sufficed for a quick overnight.

i rarely travel and wanted an inexpensive room. it was 1:30 am when we got there and i had to wake to attendant. i felt bad but she was very nice. the room was very clean. it generally needs an update of furnishings. the motel itself is in need of a few coats of paint and other things like that. but it was comfortable. there are a few sets of weekly renters there. the staff was very very nice, they didn't bother you, always had a smile, and very helpful. i am not that demanding though as i work in a service job myself. i would return there if i was going to visit my family in Tenn.

Room is clean but breakfast is spartan. The door to the room is still opened the old fashioned way, with a key and you need to close it with a loud bang.

First when we arrived, they put us in the very back of the hotel with only one way in and out and around all the drunks. We were told that we they couldn't refund our money, we had to call hotel.com. Then we requested a another room and me being disable had to climb up 10 steps to the 2nd floor to a room with no hand rails in bathroom and toilet was messed up. The next day, we call hotels.com and they were ready to exchange our hotel but Travel inn wouldn't. The manager told us that he couldn't do anything for us. But he didn't realize that I was a minister and I was praying that God would change his mind. So the manager proceed to continue to say, "no" until he couldn't say "no" anymore and he moved us to a suite on the bottom level and it was much bigger and cleaner than the other room. I just want to say that, " no one can remain the same when you are praying on the situation".

Even though it was an older hotel it was in very good repair, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

It was near the interstate. The room was clean with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good.

It's a decent low cost hotel. Clean, Fairly quiet, TV works OK. No problems with shower . Not luxurious , but worth the price.

I travel for work and stay in tons of hotels. Rate here for our group was the motivating factor but it was definitely reflected in the quality of the property. It was not grossly unclean but property is really worn down and poorly maintained. If price is your bottom line, you probably won't be offended to stay here but there are probably other 2 start hotels few a few dollars more that are in better shape.

We had two rooms at exceptional prices. The rooms were double queens with very comfortable beds. Fridge/microwave in each room. The rooms were clean although the general condition of the motel was a bit "worn." Our rooms were "without" breakfast, but when I asked for extra coffee packets, I was cheerfully given the three I requested. They had regular basket drip type coffeemakers. The free wireless was adequate for my needs. Also, this motel is very close to a variety o' fast and sit down restaurants and gas stations, and it"s right off the interstate. I would stay there again.

We were very impressed with how clean our room/bathroom was. We got a great deal on the hotel and didn't expect much when we got there, but we were glad to see how clean everything was!
