THese resources were well-integrated with activities at Phillips Exeter.THe breakfast, pool, room, security, and cleanliness were very good.

Location is good except for noise from adjacent coffee shop (backup beepers on plow trucks) and the Medevac choppers landing at the hospital behind the hotel. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, spacious. TV channel selection limited.

Great hotel that takes dogs and yet still extremely clean and nice. The only negative is that my daughter said that when she is away from campus she would rather be further away... like in Portsmouth. Other than that the hotel was very nice. We had the studio with 2 queens and a pull out couch and it fit our family of 6.

Very comfy and clean

I was pleased with everything this stay. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and the last time I stayed here the staff gave my wakeup call to another room. I didn't spend the time to learn how to use the clock in the room, which I should have used as a backup. I just figured the wakeup call would suffice, I ended up missing an appointment and being disappionted with the staff. Therefore, I only gave a 4 for staff, not due to anything that happened this stay.

I was impressed with the hotel from the helpfulness of staff to the overall cleanliness (room & common areas). Our room was lovely. Pool area nice. Breakfast was more elaborate than expected. We will definitely stay here again.

very clean and the staff was awesome. however; there was a baby shower party and the kids were running up and down the halls until 3 in the morning! then the parents were yelling at them. but overall i would stay again

Lovely, clean rooms, wonderful breakfast!

Great hotel, still neat and clean like when it was new. On suggestion, get more luggage carts or follow up on clients who keep them for hours in the room.

This hotel seems to be relatively new. I can't say for sure, but I would say its not more than 5 or so years old. Very clean and comfortable rooms, free parking, free internet. I didn't partake in the free breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of it. I normally only stay at hotels with a lounge on site since I tend to enjoy a few adult beverages after a hard work day. Although this hotel doesn't have a bar, there is a great Mexican cantina just a couple minutes walk up the road; so all was good.

The room smelled like MOLD. DO NOT THINK IT HAS BEEN CLEANED FOR WEEKS. i WOULD NEVER REFER THIS PLACE TO ANYONE,

We stayed for one night on route to Boston, very happy with our stay - the hotel is nicely appointed, staff very friendly and the breakfast was spot on!

Very nice hotel in a quaint little New England town. Love downtown Exeter! Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

Hampton Inn was a GREAT deal, one of the nicest rooms and beds on our trip to New England..........very clean and comfortable, good breakfast, and service all the way around!!!!

Very expensive compared to others of this level of hotel. The full breakfast was premade micrwaved food that was not edible. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Hotel was great, room was clean and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. The pool water could have been a little cleaner. Well worth the money. I will definitely stay there again.

Excellent service great breakfast, friendly staff

We stayed here back in April and loved it so much so we decided to stay here when we were in the area again. The price in August was a bit more than what we paid back in April, but I understand because the area overall is much more popular in the summer season. The facilities are modern, clean, and well kept. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. We checked in early without a problem and the room was perfectly set up. We know that anytime we will be visiting southern Maine, or Portsmouth, NH, this is our place to stay! (Plus they are pet friendly although we did not have our dog with us this time. The rooms still are extremely clean!)

I loved it ,the staff there are soo freindly . The free breakfast and coffee was fantastic.. room was spotless everything in place roomy beds were amazing..comforter soo soft and smmoth on my skin matress was just right. Slept soo good I didn't want to leave that bed. Was just a fantistic time.

We enjoyed our stay except for the very noisy band of children screeching and running thru the halls until all hours of the night without any apparent parental supervision. All else was lovely. The hotel service, comfort of our room, and convenience of the hotel location were outstanding. The breakfasts were good, too, with a pleasing array of choices. We were dismayed, though, to see you are using polystyrofoam plates, etc., and plastic utensils, since these are largely not recyclable and they add to the problem of non-biodegradable materials in our ever expanding dumps.

Hotel is one of the nicest Hampton Inn we went to. The decor is modern. We had a 2Q bed suite which was very comfortable for 2 adults and 3 kids. The staff was very helpful and accomodating.

Hotel was nice and appeared new or newly furnished. The fake eggs for breakfast have to go. Like eating plastic.

Great place to stop over. Close to I-95 exit, and the next-door restaurant was a fun place to unwind.

Everything went well during our stay at the hotel. It was a clean hotel with a great continental breakfast. The front desk staff was personable and very efficient at checking us in and out. The pool area met my expectations, and was a nice way to wind down at the end of the day. The hotel's location was a bit far from any night life, but it was the perfect location for visiting our friends who work down the street at Philips Exeter Academy.

The cons: the air conditioning unit was much too loud. I am a very heavy sleeper and it still felt like I was sleeping beside an aircraft taking off. The regular rooms are also very small. I felt like I was sleeping in a room the size of a postage stamp so the loudness of the air conditioner was only made worse. At 3 am we decided to turn off the air conditioner and open the windows where we then realized that the fridge made some weird cracking noise. Once we unplugged that we managed to fall asleep. The hotel was certainly clean and modern and the bathroom was very nice. I don't think I would stay again. Oh also, be sure to bring your own pillows. The pillows are horrid.

way more than we asked/needed/paid for. 5 of us staying together so we looked for a reasonably priced room with 2 queens and a pullout couch. we didnt expect it to be so roomy and so clean. there was so much room...too bad we weren't planning on staying longer than just for a place to sleep 1 night. also, the breakfast was pretty decent for being complimentary. if you're staying in the exeter area, you can't go wrong staying here.

Very new with great amenities. Loved the spacious room, the breakfast buffet, free wifi and friendly service. Our room was quiet, even though the hotel was full and it was peak beach season.

Perfect fit for our family trip to the Portsmouth, NH area. High quality for the price, and all the amenities were there....pool, breakfast, clean updated rooms, location, etc. Very kid friendly, and teh warm chocolate chip cookies served in the afternoon were an added delight. We would definitely return and this hotel certainly added to the enjoyment of our trip. Thank you!
