Aquamarine Resort & Villa - פוקט

We had a nice stay, the room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was a bit of disappointment - the bacon was always raw it seemed. The pools were nice and clean, our 14 month old daughter really liked the lower pool with the waterfall. They were doing some construction in lobby. If you're looking to go 'into town' book the van early! First come, First serve and they were always booked, even though they have 4 other trucks. A taxi ride is 400 baht each way - a bit pricey it seems. Overall, a nice hotel.

Great resort to escape the tourism and crowds of Kamala Beach. With 3 pools, there is no reason to go to Kamala Beach to swim. There is a reliable shuttle to Kamala Town for shopping and restaurants, or a taxi would not be too much since it is about 1/4- 1/2 mile down the hill. Yes, the hotel food is comparitively expensive, but well worth it if you do no want to go to town. Breakfast had a wide variety and was worth the price. The view from every room is great. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, pleasant smelling place, this is it. You are still in Phuket, to compare this resort with a European or American resort is not fair.

Hotel is very secluded, so they appeared to have taken advantage of that by overcharging for drinks/food at the hotel. The prices were double than a normal resort, and 5 times more expensive than you can purchase from local 7/11 store. (The local 7/11 is a 40 min walk). They do have a free shuttle to Kamala and Patong though. The sea view rooms were very basic and with the raised platform bed, made the room fell small. We upgraded straight away to one of the villas. The staff were very helpful and showed us the upgrade options before we chose. The villas are a lot more spacious and more modern, including the extra touches (ie, bath robes, flat screen tv, dvd player - which were not in normal rooms). Recommended if you want to get away from it all, views great, but remember your wallet. There are better value/same quality hotels out there.

The hotel provide only 1 way transport to Patong beach at 1130 530 and 2130. Reasons was not made clear to customers why the transport cannot fetch us back to hotel when they are dropping off customers at Patong, in which the driver has to make the trip back to the hotel anyway (in this case, in an empty van). If the hotel is promoting eco-friendly, this a very un eco-friendly way as each of us now has to take separate transport back to the hotel.

Hotel is very nice and beautiful. Surrounded by nature. Has three pools. I think all rooms are directed to sea. Very good breakfast. Rooms have nice balconies, are clean and in good shape. But one thing I didn't like - wall between room and bathroom has window, which closes with some kind of wooden jalousies. So in a room you can hear and smell everything what comes from bathroom. This is stupid. Location - kind of far from bigger cities. But shuttle to near beach is every hour and to far big city three times per day. There's a big problem with taxis in Phuket. They are mafia. So be carefull.

The staff was fantastic. Accommodating and clean. It was just far enough from the tourists but close enough to a great little beach. A great stay.

Nice hotel with excelent breakfast buffet and beautiful poolarea. Would not mind going back!!!

The hotel is built on a hillside. Good condition is necessary if you get a seaview room uphill. Rooms look a little “tired” and are made with dark wood and a raised platform, which takes some square meters for no use. The restaurant serves high quality food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try the grilled sea bass! The beverage including drinks and minibar are very high priced. We joined the “happy hour” in the lobby bar to get a reasonable drink price! The lower swimming pool is fantastic with only a few sun beds and disappearing edge.

The location of this resort was excellent - close to a relaxing and clean beach, while also within a short commute to the hubbub of Patong. Excellent location, staff and services.

The hotel pictures are nice but the hotel itself is much better, the only problem was that it does not have direct access to the beach, there is a road in the middle, the beach is not so good as it is full of rocks and corals after few meters inside the water and in low tide it is impossible to dip in the water as it regresses back about 50-100m and it is all filled with rocks/corals. The hotel itself is great, many amenities but a little bit on the expensive side, going out to kamala town one can find the same or better food for half the price at least. Once you are there, rent a motorbike and go around Phuket, it is dirt cheap and hardly any gas is consumed and it is much better than a tour or to pay a taxi each time

This is not the hotel to go to in Phuket if you want to be close to the action, night life, bars, etc - but it is perfect if you are looking to get away from it all and lounge by the pool. The hotel itself is fantastic, absolutely stunning pools, lovely rooms, fantastic service and as it is a bit out of the way, it is good that they offer a free shuttle service to Kamala beach and into Patong. The shuttle service into Kamala stops at 5pm though, so you will then need to make your own way into town to get to the restaurants for dinner. The food in the hotel restaurant is over-priced compared to elsewhere, however it is faultless and brilliant quality. I found the much cheaper options in Kamala to be quite hit and miss for quality however, particularly the beachfront options, so, I guess you get what you pay for - even in Thailand. As others have said, be aware that the Seaview rooms are a bit of a climb (several stairs) so not great for elderly or those with bad knees, but the staff will also run you up and down in golf buggies if you wish. I thought this was worth it, considering the beautiful view you get from these rooms. Overall I have no complaints about the Aquamarine and think it is a lovely hotel with excellent service - and a real bargain in the low season as well.

The hotel is a 4 star hotel but in our experience the rooms are not worthy of 4 stars. The rest of the facilities are nice but unless you arrive by private taxi they will assume you are not worth their time. They also provide free shuttles to the beach every hour but they will NOT allow you to use them, or even tell you about them, when you arrive in town, we never understood why because it cost us $6/B200 for a local taxi to drive us less than 5 min. Very inconsiderate of the company. Our suggestion, pay a little extra money for a hotel who offers everything complimentary, in the long run it pays off with finances and service. They do offer free wifi, the pools are nice but not amazing. The breakfast buffet is nice but their business center is greatly lacking. They only offer computers, but you have to pay for internet in advance and the printer is in another location. You also are constantly hassled by the suit men when you walk by, we just stopped in for 5 min so they would shut up. Our room began leaking from the rain before we went to bed our first night and we had to wait until morning for them to fix the problem. Even then we had to wait until after lunch before they would move us. Typically we wouldn't mind but since it was raining we were confined to our room and we couldn't use the sink without taking a small shower at the same time. If you want to use the bathtubs I suggest getting a separate tub otherwise you end up sitting on the bottom of the shower floor that was turned into a tile tub, not so nice.

Superior Deluxe Sea View rooms have an ultimate view of the sea as well as the Lobby & main hotel area. Good food, clean rooms & bathrooms. Continental Breakfast as well as traditional breakfast was really good. All the swimming pools have superb views & the bar too was well stocked. Though prices were a bit on the higher side we enjoyed our stay here & will definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I spent four days at the Aquamarine Resort and Villa. The staff was very polite, service-minded and always with a smile. The hotel was nice, beautiful pool area, amazing view, nice and clean room, a fantastic spa and a free shuttle bus to the beach/centrum. The only thing to complain about was the food and the price level in the restaurant. I can recommend this hotel to others.

Bel hotel avec superbe vue plongeante sur la mer. Belles piscines. Mais beaucoup trop loin du village de Kamala beach (25 min a pied avec des grosses montees et descendes) ou se trouve les commerces type seven eleven, boutique d habit, comptoir d excursion et resto. L hotel propose bien des navettes mais a un rythme insuffisant selon moi, donc en dehors des horaires de la navette, il faut prendre un taxi qui prend 200bath le trajet ... Donc 400 AR ... A prévoir dans le budget ... Sinon le resto de l hotel est 3 fois plus cher que ceux de Kamala beach ...

一間理想度假酒店，泳池不大但夠用，如餐廳食物更多選擇更好。酒店有車去巴東和卡瑪拉海灘是免費接送，這點直得一贊。

I enjoyed my stay In Thailand with Aquamarine. The pictures is a true reflection of real life. I would advise everyone to rent a scooter, because it is very difficult to get around with the hotels cars and taxi's. We booked our stay with breakfast, but when we got there the breakfast wasnt included. We had to use extra time and money on this but it eventually worked out! Just to have in mind. Otherwise it is perfect for couple's and for those who just want to relax.

I really love this hotel because the staff is very friendly. They are really helpful. We have a problem to call Malaysia and the staff help us how to call Malaysia. The room is very nice, romantic for honeymoon. However, the location is bit far from Patong, I guess within 45 minutes to go there. My advise is better if you rent motorcyle to go Patong or Kamala. Or else, you can use shuttle hotel to go there.

Väldigt fint hotell! Mycket bra service av hela personalen. Frokosten var god och hade väldigt stort utbud. Rummen var fina, ett stort plus för kingsize sängen som var väldigt skön. Det ända är att de ligger lite avsides men de hade tuktuk som körde gratis ned till kamala beach. Är du ute efter en semester med lugn och ro är detta hotell perfekt för dig!

Härligt att bo på ett Thailändskat hotell; de skulle tjäna på att muddra stranden nedanför så skulle det vara fullbokat jämt. Härliga två veckor!

El hotel muy bien en cuanto a servicio y calidad. La comida muy buena. Las instalaciones muy bien para el precio. Está frente a la playa, pero hay que caminar un rato para encontrar la parte de bañistas. Las ofertas de Tour que tienen son MUY MUY caras, y si no te gustan, te dicen que te busques la vida en el pueblo, tal cual. Pero el resto muy bien. Volveríamos sin duda, q menos que suban el precio.

c'est un hôtel magnifique, idéal pour passé des vacances en repos, le service est très bien.

Nous avions pris une chambre avec vue mer... le bonheur! Chambre propre et confortable... Belles piscines calmes au vu de la taille de l'hôtel. Bon buffet petit déjeuner. Personnel accueillant et très serviable. Navette de l'hôtel pour rejoindre la plage de Kamala A/R ou aller à Patong. Possibilité de louer un véhicule à partir de l'hôtel. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel, le personnel est souriant,le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent. La chambre avait une très belle vue, la climatisation était un peu bruyante et le matelas un peu ferme à mon goût. Le prix du restaurant est un peu cher, il est préférable de déjeuner et dîner dans les petits restaurants en bord de plage ou dans le centre de Kamala. La navette pour Patong est gratuite à l'aller mais pas au retour, et les horaires pas très pratiques. Il est préférable de louer un scooter à Kamala, pour vous rendre dans le sud. L'accès wifi n'est pas performant. En bref, un très bon séjour je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Hotellets policy er og flå kundene for mest mulig penger. Servicen og informasjonen i resepsjonen er mangelfull og dårlig. Hotellet har egen taxi service og andre taxier og tuk tuk er bannlyst. Prisene er derfor høye. WiFi er gratis på rommet men om du ikke er klar over det og ber om gratis WiFi tilbyr de betal for 2timer og få 3 timer. Frokosten er kjempe bra og servicen i restauranten bra. Hyggelig og flink hous keeping.beliggenheten er kjempe flott.

Bra service. Ligger en bit från Kamala Beach men hotellet har gratis skyttel till och från hotellet mellan 09:00-17:00 och även till patong. Fina rum men lite slitna, skulle behöva en upprustning. Rummen med havsutsikt har en kanonutsikt men det är ganska backigt att ta sig dit. Fräscha och bra pooler. kanonfrukost som ingår i priset. Dock är piserna i restaurangen lite dyra, men strax nedanför hotellet ligger små gatukrogar som är helt ok.

Das Aquamarine entspricht auf keinen Fall einem 4-Sterne Hotel. Die Angestellten können teilweise keine Englisch, am Telefon ganz schlecht, man bekommt keine Unterstützung und ist auf sich alleine gestellt! Man fühlt sich "belächelt" und man hat dauernd das Gefühl, als würde das Personal über einen lästern und lachen. Das Hotel an sich liegt schön am Hang mit Blick auf das Meer, die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, aber für den Preis ist es nicht zu empfehlen.

다녀본 호텔 중 가장 서비스가 나빴던 호텔. 식당에 들어오는 한국관광객에게 하는 말이라고는 방번호를 물어보는 것이 정말 끝임. 커피나 차 는 각자 알아서 따라 마셔야 함. 예외는 있음. 과연 누구에게는 친절한 인사와 자리까지 또 커피나 차 까지 서비스를 하더군요. 자존심 상해서 누구라고는 말을 못하겠고. 3일을 자고, 나오는 날 통상적인 인사를 건네는 매니저에게 한국사람이 많이오나, 다른 한국사람은 불평을 하지 않나 물었는데, 메니저왈 한국사람은 영어를 못해서 말을 하지 않는다. 영어 못하는 한국사람을 위해 한국인 직원이 2명이나 있다는 말을 들었다. 패키지로 저렴하게 머무른다고 해서 기분이 안좋을 정도의 인상을 남긴, 비취에서 많이 먼 이 호텔은 다시는 가고싶지 않다. 참고로 비취 타월 얻기도 눈치가 보임. 친절하지 않아서.

푸켓의 호텔 중 이런 써비스는 처음입니다.아침식사 100점 만점에 30점 식사 할게 별로고요.. 이곳은 한국 여행사에서 푸켓 투어 싸게 올떄 잠만 자는곳 임.. 태국의 호텔 써비스가 제일 인데 이런 호텔 처음 봄..주변 환경 아무것도 없고.. 카말라 비치 갈려면 교통이 없음 호텔에서 불러주는 차는 호텔서 모두 커미션 받는 차로 시중가 의 기본이 2배... 예로 공항 700 바트... 일반택시로는 400-450 바트 공항서 도 일반차로 500-600 바트만 많이 주고 온것임...직원 써비스는 형편없음 ...하여튼 투어든 hotel.com 사용자는이용하시지말기를,,,그리고 호텔 투숙후 방에 개미가 많아 온 몸이 말이아님... 멋진 태국 여행 푸캣 이 호텔 떼문에 엉망됨..그리고 인터넷요금 무지 비쌈
