Blenheim Guest House - וודסטוק

Good clean hotel, very friendly service. Noevening meal option but so many local pubs in walking distance its no problem.Room was quiet and perfect for Blenheim. Breakfast was very good and fresh and eggs were free range and yummy.Easy parking outside helped too.

Guest house was in an excellent location and they allowed us to check in early. Guest room itself was very comfortable -with nice big armchairs to relax in. The staircase carpet had seen better days but overall the guest house was clean and comfortable.

Comfy and homely.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast. Room was very nice. Definately warm after a wet and windy day. Enjoyed watching the freeview TV, using the shower and hairdryer. Liked the smell of the hand soap - am going to buy some.

Hotel was awful, dated and in serious need of redecorating! Didn't stay as my treat for my partner was ruined and quite frankly it was the worst place I've ever seen

On arrival, the host was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bed was amazingly comfy. I had the best nights sleep in ages! The building is old and characterful, right in the heart of historic Woodstock, with its plentiful local inns and restaurants and is also 30 seconds walk to the gates of Blenheim Palace, with its beautiful grounds to walk through. It was nice and quiet at night and in the morning, we were provided with a lovely full English breakfast. We'll definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the guest house, which was just next to the main gates of Blenheim Palace. We were looked after very well on the cold and rainy weekend of our stay. The room was nice and warm on arrival and there was a cosy fire lit at breakfast. Breakfast was very nice - like the teddy bears sitting round the breakfast table!

Cramped room with broken toilet seat, uncomfortable bed with worn mattress and a poorly presented mediocre breakfast . Street parking is awkward and it is difficult to recommend this b & b

The breakfast was very nice. We were 'welcomed ' by a man that showed us up two flights of stairs and left my wife to struggle with her bags whilst he went up empty handed. Not very welcoming.

The folks are friendly and the location is perfect. The place is tired looking - could really benefit from new carpets throughout and a change of paint and paper in the cafe. Still, the benefits are worth putting up with the drawbacks. It is probably the best location in a gorgeous little village - at the end of a short but busy street - so it is quiet but near everything and literally steps from one of the entrances to Blenham Palace - which everyone should see, if they possibly can. The grounds are gorgeous.

The manager of the hotel was so personable and great to talk to, she helped me with many issues. She cooks a good English breakfast (which is included) and has a great lunch menu. The room was basic but comfortable with good internet service. It is the furthest hotel away from Blenheim Palace, but still is only a 15 minute walk. I got there easily by bus from Oxford. The town is a slow moving, not too touristy Cotswolds village that I really enjoyed.

Hostess was brilliant ! Very keen to listen about needs ( we had no idea where to park when we go there ) However, she was really good at pointing out what to do....regarding parking spaces. Room was larger than expected, Very old fashioned , but good lay out of every facility. Bed was uncomfortable due to the fact that, it was two single mattresses joined together to make a double. You literally feel the bump right in the middle , which made it really uncomfortable.....Beddings were nice and fresh. Everything really was amazing. We even got checked in an hour earlier, no questions asked....which gave us a breather, to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast was standard ! Overall, please book this hotel, as hospitality was greater than anything else.

Loved this little place! A great value.

This property is just around the corner from the Blenheim Palace Gate. The B&B is above the tea room/shop on the main floor. Parking is limited on the street but we found a spot a half block down the street. Our room was very English, lots of florals with a Queen Bed. The bath was, a especially tight and the shower tiny with the electric water heater that puts out a very limited flow but we survived. We went down the street and had several great choices for dinner -- we chose pub. Breakfast in the morning was great and then we were off to Blenheim which was amazing.

The rooms are over a very busy cafe, minutes walk from Blenheim Palace, good parking and a lovely village. The hosts were welcoming and the breakfast very good. The room was large and comfortable. No negatives, but perhaps the stairway to the rooms could do with a blast of fresh air from time to time as it was a bit stale from the cooking below. That said this did not spoil our break here.

The Guest House is nicely positioned within the village of Woodstock and very conveinient for Blenheim Palace and some very nice Inns. Maybe a bit more breakfast service and content. On the whole a very good Guest House in a nice area.

The Guest House was clean and very tidy. Room was very presentable and overall a very pleasant stay. Food was great.

Nice comfortable little hotel in great location, would visit again.

We stayed at the Blenheim Guest House because we were booked in to view Blenheim Palace. It was the most convenient place. The accommodation was very good. The breakfast was excellent. It was however, a bit of a trek up to the second floor to our room with a heavy suitcase. Parking can sometimes be difficult which is on the street. The staff/owner were very friendly and I would go back there again.

Need 0 mins to walk to Blemhein palace. But 30 mins by bus to Oxford city center and 1 hour by bus to Bicester Village. Further more, waiting for the buses will also take you very long time. Thus, if just visit Blemheim palace it's very good location, otherwise, it's relatively far.

C'est la première fois que nous allions à Blenheim, le déjeuner était copieux.Nous y retournerons l' année prochaine pur le brompton world championnat.

Dejlig ferie og alle steder søde mennesker. Området er fantastisk smukt. Hotellet er slidt, men rent og personalet super søde.

Posizione perfetta, ottima colazione, perfetto!

de foto's geven een totaal andere indruk van de kamer. de kamer is erg klein, anders dan de indruk van de site. het is een beetje vergane glorie hotel. Woodstock is een leuk dorp, goede uitvalsbasis voor Oxford en Blenheim. Maar we hebben leukere locaties gezien in het dorp.
