The lady that gave us our room key was snotty and dry towards us. The room was dirty and had not been cleaned from the people before. When i asked how long the room would be a second lady went into a full on impression of Basil Faulty. Shouting, pointing, waving her arms and walking towards me and pushing her hand inches from my face. The finishing touch was when i asked who she was, she firstly replyed she was the manager then in the same breath she shook her chest like a lap dancer and said she was the owner. i told her i was leaving and then she started to swear at me. I got my husband from the landing where "our room" was and left. i did find out from an unsuspecting member of staff the crazy lady was the owners sister NOT THE OWNER. If the real owner reads this i would love to know why your sister felt she could treat me like that all because my room HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED. AVOID THIS HOTEL

The room was a little tired, but all was clean, the staff were good and the breakfast was great.

I stayed 3 nights on business whilst covering the central belt,found it to be clean and welcoming,large rooms in Motel style blocks.Will be staying again.

the hotel was very close to the office

We used the Castlecary House Hotel as a stop-off on our way up to the highlands, as I was booking late and refused to pay the 'last minute' rates for the Travel Inn in Cumbernauld! For the asking price, you get an acceptable room (motel style, away from the main building), a good home-cooked breakfast and (if you're lucky) wi-fi access. We'll definitely stay there again in preference to some of the larger chains in the area.

Good find, Great location , Good food at great prices, well trained staff happy to help. good bars the house malt was great with a great price with the real ale made for a good night in the snug Bar, 3 night stay in a better hotel most enjoyed at a good price

Excellent stay. Room nice with internet and we ate four meals there, all good. Good vegetarian options.

A good night stay at the hotel, with a nice breakfast to finish, hotel room was nice, however with rooms being in a seperate building , and each room entrance being outside it would have been a pain if we had to stay longer, would defenatley go back though and recommend to a friend !
