Basic accommodation. Bed linen and televisions in dire need of upgrade.

definitely nothing to write home about, small rooms, no wireless internet but rather a 2 foot ethernet cord that connects to a wall in a corner, very disappointing. Cheap...

The Pleasant Hill Inn was in a great location; directly across the street from the bus stop which takes one right to the BART station. The room was clean if a bit small. The bed was adequate, the TV had a good selection of chanels. The managers were helpful and cordial. The only real disapointment was the pool. It was billed as a heated indoor pool. It was not heated and too cold to enjoy a swim at 7:00 pm. Still, for the price, I was not expecting the J. Willard Marriott mansion. I would recommend it as an affordable, convenient and adequate motel.

The hotel was fine. The only concern I had was that I overheard someone checking in got the same rate as we did booking online. I was under the impression that this was a bargain?

The hotel was in a good area and it suited our basic need. Our bathroom had a bit of a sewer smell to it, while the room itself seemed a bit musty. We tried airing it out by opening the window; it helped some. Our desk clerk, from arrival, seemed to be the only one working the desk. Ever. Upon return from one of our outings, he was actually asleep at the business center chair, right at the front door. The "complimentary continental breakfast" left something to be desired. Crumpled muffins, souring orange juice, and hard pastries were not at all appetizing.

Nice location, clean, in good repair. Room totally sucked: very small, no lamps (lights are ALL in the ceiling), no reading chair.

I wouldn't have any complaints if the tv had worked or breakfast would have been ready at 630 like posted. We had to get on the road early. Came down at 7am for breakfast and there wasn't a crew person in sight. Other then that the room was nice. Just had renovations and you could tell. It was a comfortable stay and easy location. Was able to walk to the mall down street to pick up my rental car.

For the price we paid it was sufficient for our needs. Breakfast was included which consisted of cereal, milk, hard boiled eggs, muffins,toast, waffles (batter supplied to make your own) and juice,coffee. Plenty for what we needed. We did have an incident of a missing cell phone from our room that miraculously disappeared. We will never know for sure what happened. Staff was friendly enough, not overly so.

It was comfortable, easy to find, near restaurants and a convenience store.

Place was clean, reasonably priced & friendly.

I read that the rooms were small, but since it was only going to be I decided that would be okay. It was the dirty part I wasn't too happy with. My room was fairly clean. The toilet paper holders hadn't been cleaned for awhile. The towels were not the nicest. The hallway in front of my room was dirty as were the chairs in the lobby. The breakfast was not very inviting and the juice machine was not working right. It needs some work done. The wallpaper was peeling in several areas. There seemed to be 1 boy (college age running the place). I would not ever book this place again.

We got in pretty late (around 1am) but didn't have any trouble checking in. The front desk lady was nice enough. The room was decently clean (the bed/bathroom were fine), but it could probably use a good deep cleaning. There were some old stains on the rug and the curtains had some stuff stuck on them on the inside. The hotel had some basics for a continental breakfast (toast, bagels) and a waffle maker, which was nice. No frills really, but for a place just to crash for the night, it wasn't really necessary. Overall a place i'd recommend if you're just passing through.

The mnager (owner?) was extremely helpful.Unfortunately, he had at lot to be helpful for. The wi-fi was down when we arrived, the tv didn't work, the A/C stoppped working, ad infinitum. It was close to BART and other attractions which made up in part for the poor condition.

We were not comfortable nor did we feel there was effort toward customer satisfaction. The desk manager was polite but inflexible and the lobby did not smell clean although our room seemed to be clean. There is a sign on the lobby counter warning that aggressive behavior and violence is not permitted which im my considerable travels I have never seen yet the desk manager insisted was displayed as being required by law. This made us wonder whether the hotel was safe.

Pleasant Hill Inn, Pleasant Hill, CA. Rooms are very, very small. Bathroom the same. Cooking smells were present the day we checked in. However we found the room adequate and the price reasonable. Everyone was pleasant.

Had requested a room away from traffic which did not happen (we were on Contra Costa Blvd. instead of at back of hotel.) Being an older hotel could hear people coming and going but it was not overly noisy into the wee small hours. Price was right for the night.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was professional and the room was cozy albeit small but we are only staying for the night, so how much room do you need for that? If we are in the area again we would stay here again.

Although there is a bit of construction taking place, this boutique-type hotel was quiet and comfortable. The front desk could not have been more pleasant or helpful, and the property was situated perfectly among shopping, restaurants and freeway access. The room was small but comfortable, breakfast was a nice surprise, and the wireless internet actually worked! I recommend this to all business travelers looking for those amenities of importance---location, comfort, conveniece.

Small room for the money. The bathroom was the best part of staying there--spacious, clean, good working shower, nice towels. The room was so small, two people sharing it for any length of time would not be comfortable.

Overall the place was nice, but the room was big enough for the bed and dresser/desk. If was hard to maneuver around with just too people. Good for a quick overnight but definitely not a weekend or long term stay.

For the price, it was fine. Upside: price. Downside: small things: main door to the room had a 1/4 inch gap where you could see the hallway light. Let a lot of sound and cold air into the room. Breakfast was bread stuff. Good hard boiled eggs though.

I stay all over the area and I love the parking being so close to the building.

The hotel was nice but the breakfast was not as good as other hotels that I've stayed at.

Had to change rooms when I first arrived because it wasn't clean.....I mean imagine going into your room and finding someone left a hefty package in the toilet for you....yea I know gross. Other items in the room had not even been touched. Unfortunately it was too late to cancel or attempt to look for another hotel. The girl at the front desk seemed like we were bothering her important personal phone conversations when coming to the front desk at arrival but she did move us to a room that was actually cleaned in the end. The guy after her was pretty helpful. Bed was comfy shower had nice water pressure. The room simply served its purpose for the night nothing more.

Bad Parked me right next to the elevator and vending machines. Would not move me. Had a did not care tone. Great location. Sad service

Room was great, spacious and comfy. However, there was a slight moldy smell in the bathroom. Think that it had to do with the fact that our room was the outside room on one end. But, I would certainly stay there again.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was small, but worked, as we weren't in the room except to sleep at night. The bathroom was clean, but there was mold at the bottom of the shower curtain, which could be taken care of with a little bleach and water and the sink had s small hole in it. The bed that was said to be a queen size is actually more like a full and was rather soft and a bit lumpy. Other than that the room was great. The area they have set up for the continental breakfast was the size of a bathroom with a counter and a couple of small tables and chairs. My overall satisfaction of the hotel was great because of the location. It was close to lots of shopping and eateries. Also, it was only about 45 minutes from San Francisco.

My room had everything a business traveler like myself needs: Low Price Clean Room Free Internet Refrigerator Microwave Free Breakfast Free Parking Convenient Location Quiet Friendly & Attentive Staff Everything was in good condition. No odors, no stains, no mold. A well maintained hotel. The only knock on the facility was that the room is very small. 2 people would have a hard time getting around here. Bathroom was also on the small size. But for a single guest, I had no problem. The king size bed was really too big for the room. A queen size would have given the guest a little more room to move around. And maybe the desk chair wouldn't bump the end of the bed every time I get up. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.
