though they provided a bunk bed as we have 2 kids so it was comfortable stay. There is not enough cupboards / almira. But experience is code.

Thouroughly enjoyed my stay. Off the tourist track. Great street food right outside. great value hotel. Close to all transport modes.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Riverside. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the room was very nice, clean with a great view of the river. The restaurant was good and breakfast had a good selection. The location is quite convenient for the river taxi although it is a little far from many of the major tourist sites if you're not comfortable using public transport although taxi's in Bangkok are quite inexpensive.

Front desk employees should be more polite and helping

1) Blood stain on Bedsheet 2) Room cleaner did a bad job of tidying up the room and did not top up shower lotion in toilet which were completely empty. 3) pool water seems murky which i do not know why.

Loved the great riverside view, excellent staff, good swimming pool. Around 7-10 km from major attractions (Wat Arun, wat pho, chinatown, baiok sky tower) , although far from safari world with dolphin show.I liked the hotel overall

We are on an extended trip through Asia and thought it might be a nice change to book into a large/chain hotel for a change. We have mostly been staying in guesthouses. But, in the end, I was disappointed. The family rooms weren't what I thought with their mini-bunk beds. There is absolutely no privacy between the beds and the bunk beds were really only preschooler size. My two elementary school kids (8 & 10) were already too big for them. Furthermore, there was a play station with NO games. What's the point of even having it in the room? There were two TVs, but not sure why as they were both practically right next to each other and couldn't be used at the same time (we didn't want to watch TV anyway, but still). The bathroom was very small. The laundry was very expensive and took 1.5 days. The restaurant had only one vegetarian dish (pasta with tomato sauce). Nowhere to eat near the hotel. The location is isolated BUT it is a ten minute walk from the Sky Train, which is nice. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Overall stay real bad and could have been worse. I booked room for 4 days. Non-riverside view room for 1 day and riverside view for 3 days. None of them were properly available for me when I went there. Now let me elaborate problems I faced. For Day 1- they did not have the room which i booked and so they shifted me to pool side view room. The room was quite small, smelly, bathroom notch was broken, no fresh towels, rooms ambiance was very dull and list goes no but I adjusted for 1 day (feb 3, 2013) as I was there for hardly 6 hours. now I came back to hotel on 10th morning at 7 am. when I asked them for early check in they did not have any room available. Me and my wife had to spend 7 hours outside after coming from phuket (completely exhausted. When I went back to the hotel at 2 O'clock, I was informed that they do not have the room which I booked and they would want me to shift to other room. after waiting for 45 mins more and getting angry they allotted me a very small room with river view. Now let me tell you about this room. In addition the the things mentioned in day 1 above, The room did not have double bed instead I was given twin beds which was not a part of by hotel reservation. The water pressure in shower was very low. no proper river view. Overall it was a pathetic experience and I could have got more for the money I paid.

The Ibis Riverside, while a bit of a hike from the nearest rail station, was an exceptionally clean and very relaxing hotel to come 'home' to each night after a day in the busy city of Bangkok. Sitting pool side and watching the the traffic on the river was a great way to lounge around on a late afternoon. Rooms are efficient, but very well-appointed and immaculately clean. I highly recommend the mango and sweet coconut sticky rice for dessert at the hotel's patio restaurant.

We had a very relaxing stay at Ibis riverside. The pool, a huge poolside seating overseeing the river and boats passing by, it is an amazing place to stay at a reasonable price. Extremely well maintained, the entire hotel, including rooms and corridors were squeaky clean. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, with couple of them giving us good advise on places to visit and one helping us with ordering pizza late in the night. The hotel has all the amenities one would need and the breakfast had lot of choice and variety. While you might get bored with almost a similar menu everyday, the 'pay-as-you-go' option for breakfast gives you freedom to go elsewhere, if you wish to do so. The only problem was the bed in hotel was a bit uncomfortable for my wife (while i found it ok) and the hotel is not near the metro station. But the hotel provides free shuttle to metro which is handy. Overall an excellent place, would stay here again.

Nice place. good comforts. just on cho phraya river side. One has to walk a little from metro or from bus station. Break fast is charged 249 bahts. But not upto mark. Over all good to stay in this property.

Nice Hotel, Great Location.. Just that dont expect any service from the management. There is no room service either if you are hungry, you have to pick your food from the hotel restaurant yourself. Apart from that its a great place to stay..

Really exceed our expectations. Staff was helpful in getting us a taxi, taking us to BTS, and providing directions and information to various locations. The pool was great, really enjoyed the view. Room was comfy and clean, which is all we need since we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. Wifi worked well, we enjoyed the variety of food provided for breakfast. Staff was really friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant staff and the cleaning staff. Would stay here again.

Good except the air conditioning made me extremely ill. Asked for fan instead but none available. If I switched it off then too hot if I had it even on low made me ill. I have never experience this before with air conditioning.

Free Shuttle to nearest BTS station is nice touch, and BTS easy to get around on, Nice to be near the River, although Taxis drivers found it a hard place to find , Breakfast a bit of a disappointment (No Bacon with my Eggs!!) , Nice pool, 7/11 just down the lane (soi), Helpful and pleasant staff. Would stay there again.

Everything is cool...the only down side is wifi, too slow!!!

A bit out of town. However, we took metered taxi every ride to town area and it costs us only 100-120 baht. Not too bad compared to those Tuk Tuk service and taxi without using meter..Nice Riverside view. New hotel with modern room interior design though a bit small. There are many local food shops and a convenient store nearby the hotel, within 5 mins walk.

Ideal if Bangkok is a 1st time visit for a friend or someone who is not familiar with the expanse of the city, especially if the weather is hot and humid. The hotel has great views of the riverside skyline with the cooler breezes of the water. A great pool to relax by and easy access to the skytrain statiion or the river taxis to see all the sights that are along the waterfront. Very clean and efficient rooms and a staff that is eager to help.

Family of 4 adults went to Thailand onChristmas break when hotel prices were higher in the city than normal.Because there were 4 of us I had to book 2 rooms everywhere.The price was right at the Ibis. The room was small but we were only there to sleep. It was just fine for 2 people though.It was very clean and it made me think of ikea the way it was furnished. The beds were hard but that seems like the norm in Thailand. We did not eat at the hotel but did use the pool once and the setting was nice. We also booked a tour through the hotel and the price seemed fair. The only bad thing was that it was quite far from the main things that you want to see. When I say far I mean walking distance. Really if you just walk down the street you can go down a little side street and hop on the shuttle that takes you across the river for like 30 cents.Or you can just walk across the bridge. From there you can get the sky train or a water taxi. Anyway the hotel was fine.

Pretty close to Skytrain, there's a free shuttle every 30 min or you can walk a few blocks and take a ferry across the river for 3.5 baht. River ferries are an excellent way to get to the major temples.

Nice hotel. Located in an area where there is interesting street life at night. Room was nice and clean. Staff cheerful and friendly.

I stayed here 3 times for a total of 7 nights, in the past 5 weeks of Oct/Nov 2011. It is a reliable, well maintained and service-oriented hotel providing very good value. Small rooms but with everything I needed. It's a little out of town, in a quiet location, but the free shuttle service to the BART train system gets you wherever you need to go, fairly quickly and cheaply. I will return.

Me and my wife spent a night here during our trip to Thailand. We were getting in late at night and so I did not want to pay for a better hotel for that night, so chose to stay here for one night before moving to the other hotel. What we liked about the place? It is an Ibis, so you know what to expect in terms of the room and service. It is actually one of the better Ibis properties and has a nice pool and good location by the river. What was not that great? We were told at the airport that we could take the airport express and connect to the sky train up to Saphan Taksin and then take a ferry to Ibis. The problem is there is no ferry to Ibis. So, you are better off taking a cab all the way to the Ibis. We had to pay a tuk-tuk 150THB just to cross a bridge to get us to the other side of the river. So, if you were hoping that the hotel is on the river and would be a great place to stay, think about it again. You cannot really use the river ferries as easily as you can from the hotels on the other side of the river which have their own boats to connect to the main pier. Also, the Ibis windows hardly allow you any view of the riverside. Besides, it has some massive structures on both sides, which obstruct the view. My personal opinion is that if you want to stay in the river, pay the extra amount and stay in some of the other hotels (like the Chatrium) which are very easy to get to and out of and afford better views. Otherwise, choose a hotel in the Silom Sathorn area which are closer to the shopping district and have easy connectivity to the sky train as you get much better prices and value for money there and you can always take the sky train and come down to have dinner at one of the hotels on the river.

If the staff at the reception would speak (better) English would be much better. When we wanted to pay half hour of internet in lobby first we got new keys of the room, then password for WiFi and at least what we wanted... Similar for other things. Location was good for our needs: calm part of the city for sleeping, close to the sky train, close to the river transport, if you ask at the desk to order taxi for you with taximeter to Sournambouri airport cost about 430 Thb (with tools and small cheating from drivers side) and to Don Muang about 300 thb - all inclusive......for exploring great. Windows can not be opened, swimming pool is nice, all was clean...but if you are not smoker insist on no smoking room!

even a small-budget hotel, but their riverside+good& cheap food nearby+BTS must be satisfied, my kid was very enjoy with the pool and my mom love the riverside sala very much.

All in all a good hotel for what you pay! The pool is great, right by the riverside. Rooms with riverside view are great as well. Daily cleaning of the room was completely absent. New towels and emptying of trashcans was all. Not enough for a 7 day stay. Apart from that we were satisfied.

Hotellet ligger dejlig tilbagetrukket fra Bangkoks larm og mylder, som skal opleves, men er rar at kunne trække sig tilbage fra. Der er rigtig god forbindelse via sky train og flodbåde. Hotellet har en rigtig god pool og en god udsigt. Værelserne er store og gode for bønefamilier da der er køjesenge og X- Box spil til børnenes store glæde. Eneste minus er måske at maden ikke er særlig Thai-autentisk og prisen er høj sammenlignet med de små lokale restauranter. Men der ligger masser af restauranter på den nærliggende vej. Velfungerende Wi-Fi og adgang til PC. Et godt hotel vi gerne vil anbefale.

房間乾淨漂亮，河景房景色優美，房間空間大，環保清潔，游泳池非常好，白種人為主，有摩的送往輕軌站，只是不好找，最好打印好泰文地址，問路就方便。

这家酒店非常好，房间宽敞，干净。而且很安静，可以看到河景。服务很好，还有一个漂亮的泳池。晚上的自助餐很丰富，价格也不贵，物超所值，下次还住着里。

Ibis riverside var et dejligt hotel, med søde og hjælpsomme personaler. De hjalp os med ture, taxi, opbevaring af bagage og vi fik lov at blive på hotellet og bruge poolen efter udchecking af værelse, inden vi skulle i lufthavnen. Værelset var fint, dog uden altan. WIFI virkede perfekt. Hotellet ligger i hyggeligt lokalområde, hvor vi spiste flere gange, samtidig er det tæt på byliv, shopping og alt andet man ønsker af Bangkok.

Meget rene standard værelser, fint pool område, men lidt dyr mad og drikke.

取引先に近い事からこのホテルを選びました。立地は特別良いとは言えません。表通りから少し中に入ったところにあり、分からず通り過ぎてしまう程でした。夜遊びしたい人には向きません。ただしその分とても静かで快適に休むことが出来ました。フロント、バーカウンターの方の対応が良く、私のひどい英語も通じましたし笑顔で迅速に対応頂けました。このクラスならどこも同じかもしれませんが、シャワーの出が悪いのは△。プールは使用しませんでしたが快適そうに思えました。総評：ホテル近くに目的がある、ゆったり疲れをとりたい方には値ごろ感あり、まだまだ新しく最適なホテルだと思います。
