Big spacy apartment, walking distance to all the clubs and stuff in reykjavik :D was great!

It was our first time to Iceland and was not expecting too much, but the apartment was really comfy and clean, we also got an upgrade at a very good price, and the studio apartment was awesome! The man at the reception was very nice and helpful too. He recommended us to a few good places to eat & one of it was the hot dog stall which was selling really tasty hot dogs, me and my friend loved it! Location was quite convenient as well, with the grocery store, bakery and high street all just around the corner.

This lodging was fantastic in all ways. We stayed at the beige one on the very top. All 3 of the Luna's are just blocks from downtown shopping, restaurants and nightlife, the Harpa, museum, bus etc. There is a grocery store a few blocks in the other direction. C is for Coffee and a bakery are around a few corners. Unit was also surprisingly quiet considering Airwaves was going on. It had a great viewing deck and you could sometimes hear music while outside. All the Airwaves venues were easy walks which was nice. Our unit was clean, comfortable and warm in a modern Scandinavian style. Radiator heat was nice including a towel warmer in the bathroom. Beds, showers, appliances, fridge were also clean and high quality. Kitchen had plenty of countertop and was easy to cook in if we didn't want to eat out. Had a dishwasher, washer and dryer though we didn't use it. I don't know how loaded other units are but the penthouse had everything you could want or need. Ellert the friendly manager happened to be there and checked us right in otherwise there is a number to call.

These apartments are terrific--well-located and comfortable in Reykjavik. Roomy and very pleasant. Chose to stay there a second time.

We were very happy to have picked Luna. Our apartment was great. It was modern, spacious and conveniently located to central Reykjavik. Having the amenities of an apartment provides so much more flexibility when traveling with children. The location is central to shopping, sights and restaurants. There's a grocery store and a phenomenal bakery just minutes away. We had a rental car and never had a problem finding parking in the neighborhood. It is paid parking but its not more than about US$4/per day. The other great feature with Luna was their service.

It was just what we needed. You have peace & quiet, no staff bugging you all the time. Really a great option, will definitely go back when I return to Reykjavik.

The Luna Hotel Apartments are in a very good location that is convenient to major sights. It is quiet and there are stores and restaurants close by. The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly. Storage of luggage was easy to arrange, major sights pointed out, information on how to get around, and a local telephone was provided. I would certainly stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Luna Apartments. The staff was friendly and helpful and the apartment was just what we needed. We were traveling with our 20 month son and the apartment was roomy enough for him to play, safe and the staff provided us with a crib and bedding for him. The neighborhood is very convenient to the main shopping area, bay and other sights in downtown Reykjavik but also in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Parking was easy as there is a large parking area just around the corner which is only around $4 for the entire day (Mon-Sat). There is a great little bakery up the street with delicious treats and sandwiches at reasonable prices as well as a small convenient store just down the block. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Luna Apartments was wonderful. Ellert, the owner, warmly welcomed us upon arrival and gave us a fantastic introduction to the apartment and the city. Our apartment was clean and beautiful. The location could not have been better, close to downtown shopping, the town square and the waterfront. We ate at 'Icelandic Fish and Chips' on recommendation from Ellert and it was terrific. Parking was a snap, with many options for on street parking at metered(affordable) and unmetered spots. After long days of touring the coasts and national parks, we were always excited to get "home" at the end of the day and cook a a meal and enjoy a glass of wine. *We did visit DutyFree upon arriving in Iceland to get our beer and wine supplies for the week. The Luna apartments are a great place to stay for those who are looking for a comfortale and lovely space to relax and enjoy the magical country of Iceland. We will definitely be back again!

The hotel was clean. The location is great. It is within walking distance to downtown restaurants, the old harbor, the opera house and they bus station. The room we stayed in was a deluxe 1 bedroom. It was spacious. The kitchen was equipped well. I would recommend this hotel. The only problem was the walls are thin. There was a baby in the room above us and we could hear the crying. Other than that, no complaints. Thanks for a great stay!!

The apartments are in a very good location. There is a smashing little supermarket that sells everything, just up the road, and just down the road (2 minutes away) is the main shopping/eating area. The apartments were clean and warm, and there was no noise apparent from outside. The beds were comfy, and the bed linen lovely. We arrived on Wednesday, and the towels were changed on Friday - which was great and unexpected because we were self-catering, only staying until dawn on Sunday, and I thought towels were only changed in hotels! We hired a 4 x 4 (because we wanted to travel far and wide thorugh the snow and ice), and we had no problems parking in the area around the apartments. But, if you're just going to Reykjavik for a weekend city stay, I would suggest walking everywhere - we didn't have time to make the most of the city, so I guess we'll just have to return! We also liked the Volcano cafe on the corner, where they served coffee/wine/beer/apple juice, and they had a chess set on the table so the boys were entertained whilst we had a leisurely drink and watched the world drive by...

It locates in a good residential area; quiet. My flight arrived at Keflavik in 25:30 and took an airport shuttle bus serve to the BSI bus terminal and further on to this hotel, which brought me standing at the Luna's door at 3:00 in the morning. I had exchanged emails to notifying my late arrival beforehand, and I was welcomed just knocking the door. The person accepted me was very helpful, and delightedly explained me about Reykjavik. This was my second time visit to Reykjavik, and I knew how close the hotel is to the central area as well as the Church. I took a northern light bus tour. A Bus picks people up at larger hotels, so I had to go another place to ride in a bus at 20:30, but I got off at the Church around 23:30 when we were back in Reykjavik. The Luna is within 5 min walking distance from it. I took a Studio, located in the basement and I felt the room dark. Next time I would take a larger room located in the second or in the third floor with larger windows.

This was a great find about 2 blocks from the main shopping street , Laugevegur and right near a supermarket. The manager was a sweet heart and very helpful with anything we needed. The apartment was clean and so great to have a kitchen. You will not be disappointed with the location. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. It was our true "home away from home". Also the free wi-fi came in very handy.

Luna is an excellent choice. Reykjavik is a relatively small town and this hotel is as central as you can get to great restaurants and shops and local attractions. There's a nearby grocery store and bakery as well. The apartment was wonderfully spacious, fully furnished and equipped with everything you may need for your stay (kitchen utensils etc) and very, very clean. There are two locations for this hotel/apartment but they are within 2 mins walking distance or less. Management is friendly and helpful as well! Overall, wonderful hotel, I would stay again and definitely recommend it to everyone!

Even though our plane arrived at 2 in the morning, Ellert, the hotel manager, went out of his way to welcome us and give us some information and material for the next day. He helped us carry our stuff up to a spacious one bedroom apartment with Sky TV and a kitchenette. It was comfortable, clean and modern. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. The hotel is located literally 7 minutes from everything in Reykjavik. What's more, it was about 4 minutes away from Vegamót on Vegamótastíg 4 (tip from a local) who serve amazing brunch and lobster soup. We also had a rental car and had worried about parking before getting there as the apartment is located close to the centre of town, but parking was absolutely no problem. I am already planning to come back next fall with my parents and will look to book with Luna Hotel Apartments again! Takk for a great stay!

I had a perfect time in Iceland, hotel was great, good location, comfortable, warm, close to everything. I love it. I recommend for everyone. Good location but still quiet relaxing, nice hotel. Thanks so much!!!

My wife and I spent one night at Hotel Lund. This is an apartment hotel. They gave us a fully functioning two-bedroom apartment. Very clean, everything worked, conveniently close to the city center, shopping center, grocery store, and only 10 minutes walk from the main bus station. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. All amenities worked. The internet was perfect. We very much liked the place.

well the pictures in the profile are always the best ones...reality is always a bit diffrent... I had a standard room and was absolutely perfect..the kitchenette fully equiped and very clean.. perfect location and very close to a supermarket, where eventually buy and cook some food.. owner very nice, polite and helpfull... for 2 friends sharing or a couple is perfect and very good value for money!! I will be back in iceland and it will be my first choice!!

Hadde et svært fint opphold. Vertskapet var imøtekommende, positiv og ikke minst informativ. Beliggenheten var topp, midt i sentrum! Kommer gjerne tilbake til Luna hotel.

Kjempekoselig og pen leilighet i sentrum. Veldig serviceinnstilte medarbeidere. Eneste lille minus var at king size sengen var 2 senger som var plassert inntil hverandre. Ellers helt topp. Anbefales!

Veldig greit med leilighet i en stille gate midt i byen. Hjelpsom betjening som er tilgjengelig på telefon når de ikke er på huset. Ikke akkurat nyoppusset men helt grei standard. Vi likte oss veldig godt. Anbefales

A very nice small hotel. Good value for money. Good location, when going back to Reykjavik, I would definately stay at Luna again.

Hyggelig vert med masse info om byen. Koselig studiovmed alt man trenger. Veldig lytt, gammel bygning, Liten sidegate, veldig sentralt. Støy fra gjennomgående trafikk, mange mennesker på vei hjem, spylemaskin kl sju om morgenen lørdag og søndag.

Freshly refurbished apartment ideal for family with children. Very well equipped kitchen. Drawback with the new house is its location close to traffic.
