I was absolutely blown away by the way staff went above and beyond to accomodate me.

Such a wondeful stay! The staff was fantastic. Calling us after check in to make sure we were happy with our room was a fantastic touch! We will recommend them!

Nice place and modern. BUT nobody can find it. I attended a conference there and several people got lost on the way there. It is tucked in behind other hotels off Jeff Davis Blvd. Very poor signage so very hard to find.Otherwise great very clean and nice with a good full breakfast included.

Stay was good and breakfast was very good.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights after a business trip to get in some sightseeing in DC. Though it's a fifteen minute walk from the Crystal City Metro station the hotel has a free shuttle running to and from the metro station every twenty minutes until 11 pm. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. My only criticism would be the carpet in the hallways leading down the corridors was a bit out of date but in good repair. I was very impressed with the room and it was a complete upgrade from the supposedly nicer more expensive hotel I'd been at prior. I wish I had stayed here the entire week. Not only was it a better hotel with more comfortable bedding a much more spacious room, nicer in-room furniture it also had free wireless internet, free breakfast, free drinks and dinner three nights a week as well, and it was less expensive too! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and plan to stay there my next visit. It was very convenient to catch the shuttle to the metro and from there go into the city. You wouldn't need a car at all if you wanted to see DC and stayed here. Also they provide a free shuttle service to and from the Regan airport. Great place at a great value!

I'm so glad I chose to stay here with my parents for the weekend. Great room for the price! Really enjoyed the variety with the breakfast. A very convenient location and was really appreciative of the free shuttles to the airport and the metro. Staff was very helpful and nice! Our room was right by the pool so it was a bit loud throughout the evening as people were making there way there. The pool was definitely a disappointment because it was so small, especially for the hotel size. And considering that the fitness center was so nice and big, Only other issue I had was that my cellphone could not receive more than 2 bars for a signal so had to make trips outside to use my phone. Crystal city shops was a big disappointment too, would recommend going a little bit further to the pentagon fashion center if you want more shopping. Overall, it was a great and clean place to stay.

What a nice hotel! Great price! Was impressed w/ the full kitchen. Had a lot of restaurants that were in walking distance. Only minor negative was the indoor pool- a bit small. Luckily when we were there not too many people were swimming. Will definitely stay here again!

Great property, but they ding you on the parking... the staff was awesome, the breakfast was great, very nice rooms.

Absolutely loved the place, and for the price you absolutely cannot beat it. stayed here for about 4 nights with my girlfriend for a nice trip to DC and we were very pleased. amazed the place has a full kitchen, complete with almost every type of utensil you'd find in your kitchen at home. Was a studio room with a king size bed and i slept like a baby it was so comfy. Room was very clean, staff very helpful and pleasant. Hotel does have underground parking but it is $24/day but it is IN and OUT whenever you want. Have shuttles every 15 minutes to the metro or regan airport which was nice. Free breakfast was great too, just make sure to get down there before 9:30am when it closes. Would definitely stay here again when I come back.

Pretty much your basic airport hotel. No surrounding restaurants and no free breakfast, so you're stuck paying at the little coffee counter. Food was only okay. All in all nothing the least bit special if not at all offensive.

Good place to stay. Loved having a larger room since staying with two small children. Not in walking distance to the metro but shuttle was available to get there. With two kids opted to drive into dc instead. Got to see planes, helicopters, and trains, but none were bothersome when trying to sleep. Breakfast was good- many hot and cold options. Would stay there again :)

Nice, new, clean.

I stayed there with my wife and my one year old daughter and we liked everything about this hotel, rooms were clean, service was awesome, location was very convenient and the shuttle made our life much easier. The breakfast was also fresh, hot with multiple varieties. I would definetly consider staying there again if I visit DC again.

My stay was awesome. The staff was very amiable and made sure you were well taken care of. I also loved the full kitchen in my room and the option of leaving a grocery list with the front desk so that when you returned from a long day your groceries would be waiting for you. That is a wonderful amenity if you are trying to eat a certain way while away from home.

Overall a good experience. The beds were a bit softer than I am used to, especially for a hotel. The hotel is a bit of a hike from the metro, but they have shuttle service to/from the metro every 20 minutes, as well as to DCA. The staff was pleasant. Eaterywise, you need to go a bit from the hotel for some decent choices. Big charge for parking and the garage is cramped and tough to navigate.

Excellent place to stay; Timely shuttles to/from Metro; Free airport shuttle; Excellent continental breakfast; It will cost $24/night to park, so don't listen to the complaints of those who don't read in advance; Everything an experienced traveler needs!

Family Friendly. Good service. Excellent breakfast. We had a very comfortable stay.

I enjoyed the stay and the breakfast that was included was amazing. A full on buffet with quality food. The only drawback to the hotel is its location. Nothing is close by in the evenings to enjoy but the shuttle will take you to the Metro station, but it stops at 11 pm.

Our stay was very nice. The room was very good and we were close to the Metro. The free shuttle service helped significantly. I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel was very nice, but it was a little out of the way. we were told not to park on the street because is not safe to do so.( the staffs words not mine) They did have parking in the parking garage but u had to pay extra. About 20.00 for two days. The free shuttle to the metro was nice touch so we did not need the car. But everything was about a mile or so away. Not a bad walk but the area was not the safest per hotel staff.

We really enjoyed staying at the Residence Inn. It was clean, spacious, modern and new. Breakfast was also very nice with more than expected. The area for breakfast was light, clean and modern with flat screen TVs for news.The shuttle to airport and metro was pretty well organized and drivers were very nice. Front desk was very efficient also. Perfect to go and visit DC without paying the price of Downtown. I gave a 3 for neighborhood just because it's more a "sleeping" location. Nice and safe though.

Nice looking hotel that looks and feels more expensive than it is. Wonderful big room, almost like an entire flat with kitchen. Professional service even though not personal but sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes not. The only small disapointment was the breakfast. I can't understand that they not put more effort into getting decent bread ( machine maid bagels doesn't qualify as good bread), fresh vegetables, salami is what I would like to have seen instead of the sad serals with sugar. It's not bad however just something that i would appreaciate if it was improved.

This hotel as a two year old property is impeccable! I highly recommend it to all. The hotel has a convenient shuttle to the Metro stop making it a terrific bargain for the price. Breakfast was outstanding and very plentiful.

It was the perfect mix of space and convenience. The view from the room was great and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again

I brought 15 students to DC and this hotel was perfect. The free buffet breakfast was better than any I've ever seen. It was the perfect meeting place each morning and the kids left full. The Metro was a shuttle ride away. So was restaurant row. This hotel is well worth the price. The one day the shuttle was over crowded we walked to the Metro.

I really enjoyed the layout of my room and the cleanliness of the overall hotel. I had outstanding customer service at the front desk which made me feel very welcome and comfortable staying there. I appreciated the free shuttle services to/from the airport and metro. It made my trip more efficient and saved me money. I am a young female and felt safe walking around the area in the evening after dark. Overall, I'd rate this as one of my best hotel experiences.

We are definitely going back!!!

Excellent and convenient location for Marine Corp Marathon. Hotel's shuttle service made getting around easy on morning of race. Hotel staff was excellent in dealing with the problems caused by Hurricane Sandy. We left early to get away from the storm and the staff helped us get out and to the car rental place quickly.

stayed for marine corps marathon, service was very good ,provided morning breakfast that was great, schuttle bus service to bus pick -up. also, free bus hotel schuttle to merto bus stop. Overall a great place to stay.

Very nice hotel less than a mile walk from the Metro. Staff was outstanding. The only negative, a minor one, was that the view from our window faced a large open construction area used to store equipment (eg machines, supplies, etc) on the backside of the hotel. Everything else was A+.

I loved the hotel. The surrounding area is very safe and the stay was great. The breakfast was great and hot. When I arrived I was confused because my driver took me to the Renaissance Hotel which is the same building, but the other side of the hotel, but there is a walkway to reach the Residence on the inside of the two hotels. Besides that the Hotel is great and there is a shuttle bus that takes you to and from the crystal city metro.

my flight got delayed, the hotel staffs had no empathy about me. They not only charged me as "no show", but also blamed me for not calling them when my flight got delayed. How could i make phone call when I sat inside the airplane during the entire delay. I am sure lots of you had similar experience and should know how hard it was for me. I ended up paid all reservation again in order for me to be able to sleep in when it was 40 F in washington DC airport area. The quliaty of the hotel has been over-rated by all those people who only lived there for short term, but i stayed there long enough to give the fair evalution of the hotel.
