Aloft New York Brooklyn Hotel - ברוקלין

התלונה היחידה שלנו תהיה הרעש ממועדון הלילה ועד כמה רחוקות היו המעליות. אטמי אוזניים.

זה נחמד שיש עכשיו כמה אפשרויות ב downtown Brooklyn. מלון Aloft היה נוח מאד וכל אחד היה ידידותי ומגיש עזרה. נהינו מהמשחקים בלובי.

חוץ מתהליך הרישום הראשוני, שבו הגברת הצעירה בשולחן הקבלה סייעה מאד והייתה ידידותית...שאר אנשי הצוות בשאר השהות שלי היו חסרי נימוס, יהירים ותפסו מרחק... הפגינו כלפי יחס של "לא אכפת לי ממך" . אפילו כשעמדתי שם כדי להזמין כריך לארוחת בוקר (יום שני, 19/3)... ולא היו אורחים נוספים שחיכו בקבלה... שלושת אנשי הצוות שהיו שם, פשוט עמדו שם ודיברו בסערה...וגם כשיצרו איתי קשר עין...הם המשיכו לפטפט עד שסיימו את השיחה שלהם ואז פנו אלי ואמרו: "מה אתה רוצה?" אני מתכוון.... וואו... "מה אתה רוצה?"????? כאילו שהטרדתי אותך על כך שאתה חבר בצוות הקבלה של שירותי אורחים... אני מתכוון... באמת... אחרי הכל...לפי מה שבדקתי בפעם האחרונה זאת תעשיית האירוח המלונאי. חוץ מהצוות חסר הנימוס וחסר הידע... בית המלון עצמו הוא בעניינים, חדיש ומספק שירותי נוחות לאורחים. יחד עם זאת, לא משנה כמה המקום נחמד... הוא טוב (או רע) במידה של טיב השירותים שניתנים לאורחים בפועל. ובמקרה הזה.... פשוט בלתי נסלח.

מלון נהדר. הרגשה יפנית מאד. צוות מעולה. מיקום ייחודי אבל שווה את המחיר.

מיקום נהדר, סגנון עכשוי עם חדר נוח ומודרני, מיטה מעולה ושירות לקוחות יוצא מהכלל.

פיצה הכי גרועה שאכלתי אי פעם. הצוות היה צריך להכנס פנימה ולתקן את הטרמוסטט. קירות דקים. אבל שהייה בסדר.

הייתי נותן את הציונים הגבוהים האלה לכל הדברים, אבל מצאתי שקשה לכוון את הטמפרטורות. זה היה קפוא והייתי צריך להדליק את החימום, אבל זה התחמם יותר מדי ומהר מדי ולא יכולתי למצוא נקודת אמצע מספקת, וגם לא איפה יש הוראות לגבי השימוש בתרמוסטט. חוץ מזה כל השאר היה נהדר. המלון נמצא במרחק של רק בלוק אחד מתחנת הרכבת התחתית, ולא קשה למצוא. הייתה חנייה ברחוב, מהסוג של זה סיכון שאתה לוקח, ואנחנו נשארנו בלי כרטיסים מונפקים, בלי שנגררנו ובלי שהרכב שלנו נגנב. אחזור כל עוד שהמחיר ישאר בגדר השגה. המרחב מעבר לדלת החיצונית של הקומה השנייה נראה כ"כ מושלם. ברגע שמזג האויר יתחמם, זה יהיה מקום כזה נחמד.

המלון היה נפלא, הצוות היה ידידותי. לא היו שום בעיות עם האזור מסביב (הבלוק שבו ממוקם המלון, נמצא למעשה ברחוב צדדי) כך שהמלון יכול להראות ככזה שנמצא ברחוב שומם, אבל אם הולך חצי בלוק במעלה רחוב Fulton Street, יש הרבה חנויות/אנשים, בתי עסק, בתי קולנוע מקומיים, מסעדות וכו'... כמו כן, בית Brooklyn Court, ובנייני /דירות יוקרה, נמצאים במרחק מספר בלוקים. תחנת Jay Street Subway נמצאת במרחק מספר בלוקים. באופן כללי, הסביבה היא אזור אורבני טיפוסי של NY, ואנחנו נהנינו מאד מהשהייה שלנו . אני בהחלט אתארח פה פעם נוספת, בפעם הבאה שאבקר בברוקלין.

השירות היה מצוין ועיצוב המלון היה מדהים! היה קצת קשה למצוא את המלון והשכונה לא הייתה הכי טוב במיוחד בלילה. הברמן שטיפל בנו בבר היה מדהים וגם כל שאר השירותים היו מצוינים! הם העניקו לנו checkout מהיר ועזרו לנו להגיע לאחת הפעילויות התיירותיות במחיר דומה או קצת פחות ממונית!

הייתי מוזמן לחתונה בברוקלין ואף פעם לא הייתי באזור. המלון היה קרוב ל-Metro וקרוב למלון מצוין אחר. הצוות היה מאד נחמד ונתנו לי לעשות כניסה מוקדמת. החדר היה מאד נקי ומצוין בשביל האיזור. חבל שלא יכולתי להישאר במלון לכל סוף השבוע. אני בהחלט ממליץ על המלון.

I didn't get the room that I paid for, which included a balcony. I actually got an extremely small room. I understand rooms in NY are small but I paid extra for something else and didn't get it. The room also didn't come with many of the amenities listed. But, overall the room was decent, clean, and the bed was comfy.

I totally enjoy the Aloft Brooklyn. It's a very short walk to shopping and dining opportunities. The beds are so comfortable. Great place to stay in Brooklyn.

It was near where we wanted to be. Everyone was friendly. Unfortunately thye hot water went out Sunday AM

It was such a nice surprise to have such a lovely stay and wondeful treatment for the price! The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. I would definitly stay again!

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Aloft. It isn't very far from the Brooklyn Bridge and once you get acquainted with the neighbourhood map, it's easily located. The service is great, the ambience is very likeable and even though the rooms are a bit small and the bathroom right in front of the entrance, I definitely enjoyed the room design. I would definitely go back!

The service was good in terms of interpersonal interactions, it's just that the front desk was slow/understaffed perhaps--several people were leaving early morning and the line got backed up with some folks wanting to check out, some folks wanting breakfast, and some folks wanting a car service...come to think of it, same thing happened when I was checking in. Just wish there were more people up front.

Was hard to find the hotel-didn't see there any notice on the hotel's site alerting folks that their GPS may not be accurate due to recent road changes. That would have been helpful and saved me about 20 minutes of driving in circles. The staff though, talked me in, and that was very much appreciated.

Fire alarm went off at 2 am...false alarm, but couldn't go back to sleep.Coffee pot was not working, replaced promptly. Would stay in the hotel again.

Aloft in downtown Brooklyn was a good choice given that I needed to be near BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) one nite and near Manhattan the next. The room is small but well designed. the rest of the hotel is hip looking. The two glitches were -- pkg really is around the corner on the next street and depending on tolerance level and ability to shlep your bags -- that might be an issue. It was also more expensive than I thought it would be. The other glitch was that a boiler blew, and my last morning I had no hot water. Given that what you want out of a NYC hotel room is a nice bed, a tv, and a hot shower, I wasn't happy. The manager gave me 10,000 Starwood points as compensation, but not until I had received a certain amount of skeptical attitude from another staff member. My last comment is not really a complaint about a glitch but about the by now tired excuse that hotel staff sometimes use of 'well you booked through hotels.com, so we can't....." -- fill in the blank. It's been years, we all know people use third party travel sites to book and I do not ever want to hear a hotel complain about having rooms filled by a third party site. If they wish to offer less than full service for using a third party site, they should state that on their website. Otherwise, treat me like any other guest.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location if visiting schools like NYU Polytechnic Institute. Convenient to subway into Manhattan. Also liked the "to go" food options available by the front desk. Room was clean and warm.

We enjoyed our stay. A couple blocks from a couple subway stops made it convienent to explore BKLYN and the city. Rooms were clean but very tight and walls were pretty thin. Service was great, we had an unfortunate fire alarm issue early in the morning but the management went out of their way to accommodate us.

Great hotel with comfy small rooms. Know that you are not in Williamsburg but the up and coming restaurants are much better than the others on that area.

the staff were very accomidating, in the middle of the night a couple of alarms went off so the next morning when we were checking out they offered all of the guests complimentary breakfast. I thought that was wonderful.

We chose the Aloft after having stayed at the Marriott on previous trips to Brooklyn and not liking that property. The Aloft is a very cool place - the downstairs has a food area and pool table, with a more casual check-in desk than most places. The floors only have 8 rooms per floor, but there are 20+ floors. Our room had a king bed, dresser, desk, and nicely done bathroom with a closet, all well arranged in a NYC-size room so that we never felt cramped. The room was very clean and best of all quiet. Overall, we were exceptionally pleased and will be staying here again!

My husband and I stayed with our two kids ages 6 and 7 for four nights. We really loved this hotel! It was in a great neighborhood in Brooklyn. Everything was within walking distance and it was very close to multiple subway stops. Downtown Manhattan is just a few train stops away. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated and all the staff was friendly and helpful. The kids really loved the hotel pool off the rooftop patio. We will definitely be staying here next time we are back in NYC.

Paid extra for a city view, got put on fourth floor with view of old buildings being torn down. Construction crews could be heard through the thin windows~

Overall great option if you need to stay near downtown Brooklyn. Easy to walk to almost any of the surrounding neighborhoods like Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, etc. and easy subway access to Manhattan and the airport. Had an overall trendy feel, but wasn't super luxurious. Staff was polite and helpful. Rooms were slightly small, but nice and clean. Might want to bring your own shampoo/conditioner since they only had the 2in1 stuff in the shower.

I really want to love this hotel. But adjoining doors are paper thin. And my room did have a slight mildewy smell. But overall it more then met my needs. Thankfully I had quiet neighbors. Excellent staff/service. Comfy bed. Loved the aesthetics. Might give it another try?

The leaky windows made for some cold drafts, the coffee pods are TERRIBLE, and the remote didn't work. I finally brought remote to front desk. Was told someone from engineering would be right up with replacement. Replacement never came. The room's wi-fi was turned off an hour before check-out...

The Aloft is one of an increasing number of trendy, "modern," boutique hotels in Brooklyn. I've stayed at several, and this one has become my favorite, mainly because of the design of the rooms. All the aforementioned hotels have small rooms, but this one is not over-furnished so it seems relatively roomy, and what furnishings it has are very comfortable and attractive. Great king-sized bed. I've discovered that too much furniture in one of these small rooms leads to stubbed toes. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with directions. The surrounding neighborhood is not very attractive, but hotel is located within a couple blocks of 2 subway stops, so getting to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn was pretty easy. Also, the hotel is 3 blocks from Junior's and its legendary cheesecake.

The room was small; but, adequate and very clean. The service was great. The location was convenient to places I wanted to get to. I would stay there again in a minute!!

This Hotel was great. The room was amazing and clean, but the area that the hotel was alright. Overall I enjoy my time at Aloft Hotel.

Hotel was great. Hotel staff wasvery accommadating. Only complaint was the staff did not know how to get to the hotel by car , as the streets exist now. Took an hour to get there and I orked in Bklkyn years ago. Things have changed

The hotel itself was fine. But it is too far from Brooklyn Heights and the parking is too expensive @ $39/night. A free, light breakfast or fruit would be nice.

The staff was friendly & the room was clean & efficiently modern. The downside is the absence of a bathtub! The room service was prompt & good overall ... Considering the location.., nonetheless we enjoyed our vacay!

The hotel had a fun, funkiness about it. The bed was comfortable. Well used spaced. However, the biggest flaw was the acoustics. I could hear the guy sneezing in the next room. You can hear people out in the hall as if they are in your room. This is truly unfortunate because the hotel would be a great deal price wise, especially for New York. And Brooklyn, which seems to be lacking in choices of hotels in general.

This is the second time I've stayed here. I like the location ok, but the surrounding area isn't great. They seem to be having some electronic issues. When we arrived, the electronic key system wasn't working the computer in the bar was down and the TV went out during a storm because, for some reason, they use a sat dish and not cable. All were fixed in a relatively short time, but it was a bit of an inconvenience. The staff was fine, although the circular check in desk is annoying for obvious reasons. This hotel is fine, but we prefer The Nu Hotel in this area.

I liked my stay. It was a good price for New York and convenient to the metro stations. The metrowe needed on the same block was closed though so we just walked to the next one which wasn't far either. The bathroom and shower was very nice and trendy, I really liked the shower head because it was like a rain fall. The beds are platforms and I kept bumping into it over and over so I have a big welt on my leg...so be careful when walking around.

Stayed and one night longer in Brooklyn after a business trip to catch a Nets Game. Hotel is very trendy and accpets pets. Room was clean and modern. Hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the stadium. I stayed on the 22nd floor and could hear music coming from a night club till 2 am. I would plan on returning very soon. small bar / pool table. FUN FUN FUN
