Comfort Hotel - הליפקס

Great family hotel. Very clean. Delicious breakfast. Exceptional service. Location is about a 10 minute drive to downtown. But very reasonably priced.

Pleasantly surprised and very satisfied!!

I have stayed at this motel about four times in the past year. Love it every time. Very very clean.Motel is new and modern. Great free breakfast with eggs, pancakes, sausage and potatoes, plus lots of cold items. Staff are always very friendly. Free internet. Can't think of anything bad to say about this motel.

The hotel is only two years old so the decor is modern and updated. The customer service was excellent. Of particular note, was the impeccable, friendly service provided by Josée, the front desk attendant who served me, showed me the room and introduced me to the facilities. The room with the jacuzzi was spacious, comfortable and very relaxing. I was also impressed with the huge shower that had wall-to-wall glass doors. I enjoyed the spinach/feta pizza at the Canadiana Restaurant as well as the complimentary drinks provided by the hotel. I would highly recommend the Comfort Hotel!

Staff was extremely friendly, rooms are very nice, bathroom was excellent and roomy, the only thing that will keep me from going back is the bed... It was awful my back would of felt better if I'd slept on the floor, they say they are some sort of orthopedic beds... We stayed in a king.

I was most impressed with the staff as they all went out of their way to be friendly and courteous. Ever the owner came around one day at breakfast to ask how our stay was. And the breakfast was the best free breakfast I ever had at a hotel.

Very nice motel. Great room. Friendly staff. Comfotable beds. Good breakfast and conveniently located. Good restaurant next door too. Very satisfied. Will stay again for sure.

The hotel is lovely and the staff excellent. We were slightly worried about the location before staying but it is in fact in an excellent position to access the airport and for getting around the Halifax area. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast is good. We find general standards of customer care in Canada to be really good but this hotel excels!

What made this hotel our hotel of choice again in the future were these following comments. Best staff we have ever met, and we travel all the time. Very comfortable bed and room. Very good complimentary hot breakfast, 10% off coupon on adjoining restaurant with a welcome cocktail included which was appreciated after a full day on the road. Good convenient location easy to get to the airport, and downtown. The general manager, Stephanie interacts with each guest and makes them feel very welcome, just like a B&B. The front reception staff were awesome, and we very much enjoyed their professionalism and their personality. We really appreciated this special effort and will definitely stay here again if we return to the Maritimes.

I needed an overnight stay for a reasonable rate, that also had good access to downtown Halifax. This location fit the bill very well. Staff were personable and efficient in handling all my needs. The continental breakfast was abundant and varied. My only issue was with the easily heard conversations in the hallway that were sometimes distracting. However, that ended at a reasonable hour, and I got a good nights sleep In a very comfortable bed.

Everything was great, only thing was that the Wifi was a little spotty in our room.

We were very satisfied with our stay overall. The hotel is quite new and boasts big, clean comfortable rooms. Everything worked well inside too.The other amenities we used also rank high: swimming pool, exercise room and buffet breakfast. The only problem was it was a little noisy in the early morning, probably because we were on the first floor, close to the lobby. The hotel location is not going to suit everyone -- outside the city centre, but there's always a tradeoff. Not a big problem though if u have a car.

Really nice place, but when they tell you it's the last room we have (on hotels.com) then you have to know you are sleeping with the elevator on the ground floor. After a busy day the elevator was not my friend and when obviously asked for a new room, well, there wasn't any. Might as well slept in the elevator shaft for free!

The hotel was very modern and the rooms were large and stylish. All staff were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly use the hotel again.

Breakfast was not organized. Service was very poor.

Great hotel, the whole family loved it, and we would not hesitate to go back tomorrow if we could. Highly recommend! Close enough to the harbor, the room and hotel had everything we could need, and it was clean and friendly. Absolutely could not ask for more - make sure you go for the breakfast too while you are there (its a free and fantastic full breakfast).

The hotel was excellent. The only thing that I wish was a little different was the breakfast. I wished that there were more healthier options.

We find hotel very clean. It may be a bit outside of the city but we do not mind it.

Easy access to the major highways and points of interest. Nice pool. The breakfast was good!

Very noisy in the middle of the night... walls were very thin and you could hear the folks in the next room breathe and talk. There was a party in the hallway at about 1:30 am.

I really enjoyed my stay. I was by myself with three young children and this hotel and staff made it much easier! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very clean, had a great hot breakfast and parking right outside. The pool was also great. We stayed in a room with 2 queens and it had lots of space. also had a micrwave and fridge which was very convenient. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

I would like to commend Stephanie (owner/manager) and hotel staff for the best hotel experience ever. They handled noise issues and corrected the problem immediately. They were extremely helpful and accommodating to my husband and I during the anticipated arrival of our grand daughter. Thank you Stephanie and staff...you are now my preferred hotel for any future stays.You do an awesome job!

The room was very clean, nicely decorated and the staff very friendly. However, the beds were too soft and I felt like I was sinking into it. Not my cup of tea, but others may like it. The beds are a bit high for us small folk as well. The toilets had such low water (it only filled the drainage hole and did not come up into the bowl at all) that everything did not "flush away". The room was unbearably dry even after turning down the heat and I kept waking needing a drink of water. If they fixed those concerns, its actually has other points which would have me returning.

What can I say about this Hotel...Awesome ...Awesome !! We love this Hotel.The young lady working at the front desk (Nimfa) gave us excellent service. The staff is so friendly.The rates are really reasonable.The breakfast was excellent !! I would stay here again next time I'm in Halifax !
