Apartments Arenal - מדריד

Let me start by saying that apartments arenal was chosen by me and my girlfriends due to it being the most reasonable accommodation in the heart of old town Madrid. In that, I give it full points. A couple of reasons you may not want to stay there include that there are no elevators so if you are carrying heavy luggage, you need to lift it up yourself. Secondly, there was no daily room service so each day, I had to look out for the cleaning service at the hallway and ask for more toilet paper as we were 3 in a room.

It's an affordable hotel, Clean, room was small but I didnt care because the Location was perfect! It was a bit noisy at night but you can sleep with no problem. The staff was great , its an old building so dont expect a 5-star hotel! its a good deal for the price!!!

So close to the metro and in a lovely pedestrian street in the center of town, we were very comfortable in these apartments. Everything you need and a friendly welcome. We even got an upgrade!

Good but on 5th floor and no elevator

Would definitely recommend this apartment/hotel. Great apartments if you want to stay close to all the action of Madrid. The location is terrific for tourists, as it is close to many eateries and many of the tourists sites. Would definitely stay here again, especially since the prices are right and staff are very friendly. Also, great for someone wanting something a little bit more like home as all the rooms are apartment style.

Gobsmacked with the location and quality of accommodation! Note the reception and apartments are separate - don't lugg your luggage around! Best to leave one person with the luggage, whilst the other checks in.

I came to Madrid with my two classmates (we are all girls) and this was the best place to stay. We felt safe and comfortable leaving our bags in our room. You had to go through 4 doors, each with a different key to get into the room. It was so clean and new feeling. It was really close to most of the main tourist attractions. If I were to return to Madrid I would stay in Apartment Arenal.

The apartment was amazing. The balcony overlooked the street with a beautiful view. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the other guests were loud. The staff fixed the problem and the rest of the stay was very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again!

The staff was very friendly but there was some confusion about where to leave the key because we checked out before the office was open. Our apartment was about a block away from the office where you check in, and there was no drop box for the key. We ended up leaving it in the apartment, per one of the employees suggestions. We did not get charged an additonal fee for checking out early, which we had anticipated from reading other reviews, and the hotel policy. The apartment was not fancy but it was clean and very roomy. It appeared to be newly furnished with Ikea type furniture. There were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room with a fold out sofa; and a kitchen. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. We did not do much cooking, but there were some basic dishes and pans in the kitchen, if you wanted to. Two downsides were that the beds were not very comfortable, and the washing machine did not work, we could only get it to spin, despite numerous attempts to reset it. There was a large drying rack if you want to do laundry. The apartment was in a great location for sight seeing. Just across the street from a terrifc churros and chocolate place, and a few short blocks from the Sol metro stop, Plaza Mayor, and the Palace. We were able to walk around at night (10:00pm) and feel safe. Overall a good deal for the price.

The location is great, cant ask for anything better. The shared bathrooms are kept clean too. But the rooms for 2 are extremely tiny we didnt have any room to move around. Theyre not cleaned everyday either. But thats what you get for a cheap price i guess. Plus theres no lift but many many stairs...not very fun when you have luggages... Also the walls are paper thin, you could even hear the noise of plastic bags from the next room!!!

The Arenal apartments are a great location for a Madrid city break, especially if you're young and up for partying! The rooms are small and beds are cosy so if you're sharing, make sure it's with good friends!!

The apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable and was very central. A two minute walk from the Sol metro and in easy reach of all the sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, so would recommend. Great value.

definately not 4 star...was so dissapointed in outlook and quality of the hotel looks like a hostel ....cheap but never again

Hotel was nice, staff was wonderful helping us with our questions, bathrooms and room were very clean and comfortable. Little minus about the noise which can be heard down the streets if people have been partying - but I find this amusing too. The centre area isn't too beautiful which could've affected on my decision to choose another hotel.

I would like to rate 5 stars to this hotel, however, they have a very weird policy that you have to pay $20-40europe if you check in/ out later than a range of time they set. i was just 20min late to check in due to my flight delay, and had a hard time to get to the hotel from airport. think its a little bit not fair on this policy. Very convenient neighborhood, u can hear the street performer playing Mozart or some classical music in your room. pretty relaxing =) very clean environmnet and look just like the ikea display room. you can leave your luggage in the reception room on your last day after check out, so don't need to carry all the luggage to walk around. just need to pick it up before 8pm. its pretty convenience with this service;) i would recommend this hotel, just make sure you will not be late to check in / out.

Location of the apartments was great and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a triple room, which was very basic and very dark. Don't be fouled by description, we did not even had a fridge in our room (we could use fridge outside the room). Overall room was not that great, but location and price made up for this.

Great location, good accommodation. Very noisy because it is in a pedestrian zone that never sleeps. I would request a room at the back of the building if i were to stay there again

솔광장에 위치했으며 전철도 가깝구 주변에 중요관광지 밀집해있어 위치는 최고입니다.

WiFi didn't work on the top floor.

Appartamento molto silenzioso in una via laterale (Calle di Bordadores). Appartamenti ristrutturati a nuovo di recente. Le 2 stanze sono molto ampie, però il bagno assai piccolo. L'appartamento è stato pulito una volta in 6 giorni. Poca fornitura di prodotti da bagno. I ragazzi/e della reception molto gentili e preparati. Wireless purtroppo non ha funzionato. Nel complesso molto soddisfatti.

La habitación muy bien pero la insonorizacion de la habitaciones muy mala. se escuchaba todo lo que hacían en las otra habitaciones. el aseo compartido no es de mi agrado.

Godt tilfreds med opholdet på dette hotel lige i centrum og på gågade. Der er ingen elevator så man får god motion på trapperne. Flinke medarbejdere i receptionen. Gåafstand til alle større seværdigheder. Håndklædeskifte og rengøring efter 3 dage. Microovn og køleskab på gangen. Man kunne både se og lugte der blev gjort rent. Hun kom helt ind i hjørnerne.

Relación calidad/precio bastante buena. Ubicación excelente, pleno centro. Calle muy ruidosa a todas horas del día y la noche, pero bastante bien aislamiento ventanas. Habitación muy pequeña en cuarto piso sin ascensor, pero con TV y AA funcionando correctamente

Realmente excelente lo recomiendo 100 porciento

Все оказалось гораздо лучше, чем мы предполагали. Номер большой, двухкомнатный, кровати комфортные и полномерные. На кухне есть все необходимое.Единственное неудобство: регистрация находится в 400 метрах от самих апартаментов, а мы были с багажом. Пришлось тащить детей и чемоданы на себе.

Placard à balais très bien localisé - Proche de tout - Un vrai retour à la vie en communauté !

Det var ikke en appartment som ventede os i Madrid, men det mindste værelse jeg nogensinde har sovet i. Der var rent og pænt, og de var ganske flinke til at hjælpe med spørgsmål i receptionen, (og gode til engelsk), men der var kun et fælles køleskab istedet for det køkken vi skulle have haft adgang til. Og så lugtede hele lejligheden af surt rengøringsmiddel, så kraftigt at man knap kunne trække vejret. Dog var det ekstremt centralt og nemt at komme frem til.

No llegué a dormir en una minihabitación con un baño compartido con tres habitaciones más, como en una pensión de post guerra. La página web ofrece una información ambigua y claramente insuficiente. En definitiva, engañosa. Un gran decepción y la decisión de no volver jamás.

The WIFI signal was very poor. Half of our stay it didn't even work...

Rummet var fint, men 2 trappår upp var det jobbigt med all veskor.Det värsta var att de ville ha extra 40 Evro för att man kom 8.30 på kvällen.Det är nämligen så att dem har ingen reception efter 8.00 på kvällen, tycker det är oprofesionell.

Ingen hiss, små rum & tunna väggar. Annars väldigt bra.

PARA OLVIDAR!!! baños diminutos y compartidos, habitación tipo pasillo. Se trata de engañar con la idea que es un departamento. Después de muchos viajes en europa, lo peor. Interrumpí mi estancia.

en realidad al comienzo uno llega un poco reservado al no encontrar un gran letrero en la entrada, luego se da uno cuenta que en realidad es un pequeño hotel, con una pequeña habitacion pero adecuada para lo que uno necesita, solo ir a dormir. La ubicacion fantastica, muy cerca de al estacion SOL y de alli todo cerca. EL baño compartido nunca estuvo sucio y el internet siempre activo y en una oportunidad que se cayo la señal la señorita de recepsion hiso lo adecuado para que volviera a funcionar. Todo muy bien, seguro es una buena opcion.

Nous avions une petite chambre avec salle de bain partagée, au 5ème étage. Ces conditions justifiaient le prix très bas de la nuit. L'emplacement est sinon idéal et la propreté impeccable.

(+) Hotel muy tranquilo, habitación limpia, calle sin ruido, al lado de plaza Mayor. (-) Nada era como lo esperabamos porque ninguna de las habitaciones (6) en nuestra planta tenia baño privado,solo habia uno para mujeres y otro para hombres para compartir entre todos, y no habia "Kitchenette/cocina básica" solo un microondas y una nevera que no corresponde para nada a las imagenes que tienen en la pagina web. Por mucho que la habitacion era limpia y la ubicación perfecta no voy a repetir porque me siento engañada, ninguna de las fotos ni los servicios que se supone que se prestan tiene que ver con lo que nos han dado. Por lo menos que pongan fotos y detalles de todos los edificios que tienen y que te puedan tocar! Que pena!
