Hotel Hermes - פירנצה

If all you want is a place to lay your head and you are not too particular, then this should be fine. I would describe myself that way, but next time I would spring for a better hotel. This hotel is located directly across from the train station and all attractions are easily walkable. The breakfast was your standard high carb options. The free wi-fi was great, but it didn't work in our room and I had to go to the lobby in order to use it. The bathroom was uncomfortably small, even for european standards. The air conditioner was a loud movable unit in the room, but at least it had it and it drowned out the street noises. There is a small grocery store located down the street.

The location of the hotel is near to the railway station. It come with the basic facilities like a hostel minus the kitchen for the hostel guest. The room is big with moderate size toilet. The room does come with television and not safe deposit box (if you need either of this or both). The hotel does not have an elevator and each level required you to climb two set of stairs in order to reach the reception. (Those with bag pack will have no issue as we are carrying trolley luggage then we will have to hand carry up the stair in order to reach the reception.) Not sure if it provide free storage for luggage as we have not used the service. It provide and come with breakfast. However we stay for two night and we only received one day breakfast as the check-out day we left early and there was no pre-pack breakfast for us. The lobby to the room on the third floor (where I stay) is dark and when people open and closed the door we inside the room will know as there is something like a vacuum suction. The Main Railway Station is about 5-mins Walking Distance and also there is a supermarket just down the stair of the railway station just on the way to the hotel. And the wifi is only available at the lobby area as we have no reception within our room.

Great location and staff was especially helpful. Room was sparse-more like a dorm room. requested non-smoking room. Although we didn't smoke, the people next door did and we could actually see smoke coming from under the door. We had to put towels on the bottom of our door and spray air freshener. We stayed throughout Italy and paid the same amount in other locations and had wonderful rooms. Wouldn't stay there again

I really enjoyed my stay at hermes. Firstly, the location was perfect for me. I was close to the main train station so I was able to hop on a train to go to other locations very easily. As well, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a single room and shared the bathroom. If you are looking for something "Holiday- Inn American"; this is not the place for you. I am use to traveling through Mexico a lot so the accommedations were beyond suitable for me. The bed was big and clean. It is noisy during the day since it is so close to the station but by 11pm things have settled so if you are looking for a quite place; this is not the place for you. Also, the hotel is on the 2nd & 3rd floor; no elevator. Not a problem for me though. Breakfast was good and enough for me but if you are expecting a big variety breakfast not the case. I really enjoyed my stay at Hermes and would not only recommend it but I will stay there again when I returm. It is not a fancy hotel but a true gem. :)

Broken toilet in a shared bathroom for the floor. (Bathroom were beyond disgusting) Staff was very nice but did not speak English. Terrible and unsafe area around the train station (2 min walk from station) Room was very clean. Note-no elevator

The hotel location was quite convenient if using the rail system for travel. It was quite noisy in the room due to the windows needing to be open because the A/C units were removed for the season. Breakfast was a toasted roll, coffee, and juice. The staff was quite helpful and gave great recommendations for food. The hotel met all my needs on my trip, all for a good price.

Good basic budget accommodation close to train station and all city attractions within walking distance. Ask for a room at the back or take along ear plugs as our room faced the main road and was very noisy. few mosquito's in room, not a problem in May but no nets to stop them coming in during the summer. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good stay in general and good price if your looking for something basic. Would recommend.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful though only one (Patrica) can speak fluent English. The only thing which is not convenient enough is the shared bathroom.

Sijainti hyvä, vaatimaton huone joka kuitenkin puhdas, sekä ilmastointilaite. Aamiaiseen kuului cappucino, sekä croissant, voi ja marmeladi. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä.
