The Breakers Resort - דניס פורט

I upgraded to a 1br with an ocean view. I wouldn't recommend this hotel without an ocean view, I feel as though a reason to stay on the cape is to enjoy the Atlantic. The full-size refrigerator was a great bonus as was the jacuzzi tub. I would definitely come to this resort again!

The room was comfortable and very clean. We had booked a king size bed and was booked into a room with a queen size bed. Carbon monozide alarm required attention and maintenance immediately addressed the issue but unfortunately alarm started beeping around midnight. But I would highly recommend this resort. It was great.

Very nice, Room was clean an when appointed. Close to beach would highly recommend.

across the street from the very small beach. No front desk, had to go to another resort to check in. Signs very poor. Have to pay for a maid to clean room and change sheets. Had to wash all glasses and dished on departure date. Had to take towels and sheets ourselves and stack them on departure date. No restaurants nearby that were open. Severe shortage of parking. DON'T GO THERE!

Hotel was great, but there was no AC in the bedroom upstairs in the unit. Only the downstairs was air conditioned. Luckily it was a cool night, but it started raining in the early morning and rain came into our sleeping quarters.

Rooms were spacious and in general, the resort was adequate. The beach, all 30 ft of it was littered with seaweed, dead horseshoe crabs and barnacles. It wouldn't be my first choice if I were to return to Dennis port.

Although we were initially disappointed that our unit was not ON the beach, we ended up being very pleased with our accommodations. Cute condo unit with two private balconies, winding staircase, and comfy bed. Everything was very clean and neat. Might be tricky for anyone physically challenged to get up and down the staircase, but it was no problem for us. Located in a great neighborhood--quaint and charming.

The studio room was very nice. Close to the water. I was dissapointed when I was told I would get a queen bed and ended up with a twin

great facility; air conditioners loud but effective., not an ocean view from our room so if important check first, kitchen well supplied with dishes, etc.wifi was less than hi speed

A pleasant stay.We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was quite spacious and comfortable for a family of 5.The hotel couldve provided with more services like housekeeping .The wifi was very poor.

I stayed in the studo which is across the street from the main building near the beach. Newly renovated, but really cheaped on on the exceptionally soft matress that gave both my wife and myself a back ach. No TV in the bedroom area. Flood lights on outside the balcony and front door that actually made it feel like morning all night even with drapes closed. Rooms where hot from other surrounding rooms. Too bad as location is okay. But for sure do not take the sudio.

In what turned out to be a chillier than normal pre-season weekend, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with spa tub and comfortable large living room with hi-def TV and DVD, which came in handy one damp cold night. Front desk staff was very helpful in steering us to the best local restaurants and even where we could rent videos. I will definitely recommend, though I feel a little like I shouldn't spread the word too far because I wouldn't get another surprise upgrade if they are booked solid all the time.

We were in the front building and had a water view - try to be sure you get one of those rooms if possible. Off-season, amazing value for the $$$.

A wonderful place to stay. The rooms are good sized, the beds are super comfy and the place has an overall "cozy" feel.

Very nice place spacious, cheap compared to Boston hotels although it was the off season. The cute girl working the counter was very helpful, she spent about an hour with me trying to get some business cards printed as I had forgotten mine. Great staff, big clean room with a nice tub in the window overlooking the ocean. Also had a full bath 2 TV's and a kitchenette, everything i could have hoped for and more and I paid under a hundo in early April. The rest of the town was a little sleepy because the season hadn't really started yet. They did not have a restaurant or offer breakfast, but i made my own in the kitchenette!

Great location right on the beach.

This hotel was amazing, nice & clean and completely remodeled and up to date! Front desk was very kind & professional. However check with the hotel before you book anywhere online especially on the off season.

We stayed during the off season and were blown away by how awesome our room was. Because it was not that busy the front desk person put us in a nicer room than we had originally booked. The fireplace, jaccuzzi, ocean view, and overall loft style of the suite was beautiful and we will definitely be staying again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel, especially the loft style rooms.

I've only stayed here off-season, but I love it! The rooms are really good sized, everything is super clean and the beds are really comfy. Add in the electric fireplace and the optional whirlpool tub and ocean view and you have a perfect get-away!

We found The Breakers resort by accident as the Inn we usually stay in was completely booked on New Year's Eve. We were more than pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was.....w/ an exceptional location w/ the ocean located right in front of the building. Although we only spent 9 hrs here as we attended all the festivities of First Night in Chatham, we would definitely make a point to come back here for a longer stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, too.

Our first visit was short and last minute so we were pleasantly surprised to book a two room suite on the water with jacuzzi and fireplace. Beautiful sunset and sunrise from this location, great restaurant half mile away. We'll be back.

The apartment was beautiful and comfortable, we just stayed one night for work and loved it, it faced the ocean and even though the weather wasn't good we enjoyed the views. Definetly will go back.

everything about the room was top shelf. extremely clean, brand new appliances and fixtures. very very nice. the only quibble i had was the what i thought was a very early check-out at 10 am. i had never seen that before, most places are 11 am. i would definitely come back here in the summer.

We checked into a room the size of a walk-in closet. No place to put clothing- no dressers. Carpets need cleaning. Try falling asleep with lights on all night just above sliding door and pool. No choice to turn them off. There is no view of the ocean so don't let the picture of the building on the beach mislead you. Will never return!

The hotel was fabulous, new, clean, up to date with all the appliances you could ask for. A complete kitchen with dishes and everything! Beach access was easy & the staff was very polite. Could not ask for a better facility. Would definitely return.

Spacious room with kitchenette and seating area - looked brand new. Good location midway along the Cape for exploring the area. Staff were helpful and made good recommendations for dining near to the resort.

We have been going to The Breakers since the early '80's and were anxious to see the end result of the rehab as a time-share. It is truly a wonderful property now and in talking to some owners', seems to be a well-run resort. We will continue to watch for opportunities to rent unfilled rooms in the future. Beds were comfy, kitchenette well- stocked, pleasing decor and a tub with jets. Beach would have been inviting had we not booked during a rainy week. Only complaint would be that the sound-proofing could be better in the ceiling...thumping from above, but luckily during the day. We will most likely return!

June 24, 2011. the weather was crappy but the hotel was very nice. The room was very big and had a pull out couch. A fake fire place was actually cute, Would i like to stay a week here. No. but short stays are great. Rooms are pack in. we lucked out with a room with lots of exterior windows but some rooms don't. Also, pool area is really great but be warned if you get a room right next too the pool there is no privacy at all. the beach is small but adquate. a little rocky but typical for nanucket sound side. dumpster right outside our room so could see smell being a problem in the hot humid mid summer weather. We vey much enjoyed our stay and the staff was super friendly.

This place was amazing. I don't even want to tell anyone about it because im scared it will book up and we will never be able to get a room again. We want to make a stay at Breakers a tradition every Memorial Day weekend!

VERY NICE

We booked a studio. The room is not large enough for two people with laguage. It has only a fold-away bed. If it is opened, the room is nearly full. One day the room was'nt cleaned. The other they made a bad cleaning. Our pool was out of order, because it was closed from the public health department. The beach around is in the most cases private. The Wifi costs money and did'nt work the most time.

The property has two buildings, one next to the sand, the other across the road. Both have easy access to a beautiful beach, with many dining facilities nearby. The room we stayed in was spacious and had nice amenities.

I had never stayed in the Dennisport area and found this resort to be clean and comfortable. Great beds/sheets and everything seemed new and clean. The pool area was nice and the beach is right there! Just had a girls weekend there and we all really thought it was great!

Friendly staff and clean room, we stay only one night yet enjoy it. It's near the sea, but only some of the "one bedroom" have sea view, book early for low price and better view. Good hotel.

This is a cute, fun hotel cheaply constructed as a time share. Our unit had a spiral stair case to a loft bedroom that barely held a queen bed and small dresser. We laughed when we realized that the bathroom was downstairs. Good luck negotiating spiral stairs for a middle of the night necessary trip!. Our unit was in a building across the street from the beach units. No big deal except there was inadequate parking for the building. We had to park across the street or next door in the public town parking lot! This is a cute fun place for flopping on the beach all day. Overall grade:B. We got a good off season rate. In season rates will be expensive for what you get. Be prepared to search out local eateries, grocery stores, etc. Not much within walking distance.

The place is new and clean but you are going to sleep in. It is so bright in the bedroom & living room at 5:30 am. Gave the place 5 stars for price point.

We specifically booked a room that was oceanfront and had a king bed but when we arrived we instantly realized that neither was true. I called the office when I realized that the room was across the street from the beach and oceanview at best with a queen bed. They said they couldn't help me because that is what I booked! They also said they only had 5 king rooms and they were all booked so they could not move us. I remembered reading someone else's review of the same hotel who had a similar issue. I wish now I would had heeded that person's warning that this hotel might be guilty of a "bait and switch" approach. Other than that, the hotel is very clean and the room we had was a loft-style which we enjoyed very much. Overall not a bad experience on the Cape, but I would have appreciated more honesty from the hotel itself. They did not seem to care particularly if we were happy or not with our accomodations.

Great location rooms were in good condition did not have to run air conditioner but thought it might be loud if two other people stayed on pullout it would be right in their ear Also no flat screen tv but that was ok bathroom flush was noisy from above

Very nice room, clean, convenient. two steps from the beach. Very happy with this hotel. friendly front office staff.
