YOTEL New York at Times Square - ניו יורק

הגעתי לעיר למטרה עסקית ושהיתי כאן לילה אחד. המלון עצמו מאוד מטופח וחדיש והצוות עזר מאוד. אהבתי שהוא היה גם ידידותי לסביבה. עם זאת, היה לי קשה למצוא את המלון כשירדתי מהרכבת התחתית והייתי צריך ללכת מספר רחובות בלילה עד שמצאתי אותו. בנוסף, הכל, מהרישום העצמי למלון, דרך ההוראות איך להגיע "לבקתה" שלכם, ועד לצלילים המנגנים במעלית, היה נראה כמו משהו לקוח מהעתיד בסגנון פנטזיה מ-Star Trek או איזשהו משחק מחשב. היו יותר מידי רעש וצלצולים, כגון ספה שהופכת למיטה עם לחיצת כפתור, אבל בעצם כמו כל פוטון, היא הייתה קשה מידי ולא הייתה נוחה כלל. שהיתי במלון זה משום שלא מצאתי מקום אחר קרוב למשרד במחיר סביר, אחרת לא הייתי בוחר לשהות כאן.

הייתי צריך למצוא מקום לשהות בו ל-3 לילות בניו יורק. רציתי מקום נקי, במרכז ובמחיר טוב שאוכל להתקלח ולישון בו. מלון Yotel התאים לי. השירות היה ידידותי ואדיב מהרגע שנכנסתי למלון. סאם, היה שווה! יש להם קפוצ'ינו, קפה ולטה ממכונות בחינם כל היום. הטבה נחמדה. בבוקר היו יותר קפה ומאפינס בחינם שלא ניסיתי. אני מעדיף לשמור ולאכול את הקלוריות שלי בצורה של ביצה בלחמנייה או מעדן ניו יורקי אחר. בכל אופן, החדרים קטנים, אבל מושלמים לאדם אחד. נראה לי שהיה יכול להיות צפוף מידי עם שתי ממזוודות בחלל החדר. המיטה הייתה בסדר והמקום היה נקי. קצת חששתי מהמועדון שיש במלון, אבל לא שמעתי כלום בלילה (הייתי בקומה ה-9). כן הרחתי עשן סיגריות מבחוץ היכן שאנשים כנראה עישנו, ואת זה לא אהבתי. למזלי, זה קרה רק בלילה אחד. הגישה למחשב ולאינטרנט האלחוטי היו בחינם ומעולים. הקונסיירז', ג'ימי, היה מעולה ומצא לי מחיר טוב לנסיעה לשדה התעופה. המיקום היה סביר. בית מרקחת מעבר לכביש. אם תלכו 6-7 רחובות על השדרה ה-10, תגיעו לאזור מגורים ושם תמצאו יותר מקומות לאכול בהם. גם בשדרה ה-9. אני ממליץ על האמפנדה והאריפה של מסעדת Saschi או מסעדת Empanada Mama's. בחרתי במקום זה כי רציתי להיות קרוב לאזור Hell's Kitchen. יש הרבה רכבות תחתיות. קל היה לנווט בין השכונות של ניו יורק – הגעתי למתחם התיאטראות, איסט ו-ווסט וילג', הארלם, צ'לסי, ABC city, פארק Slope ו-Dumbo בברוקלין. אהבתי גם שאפשר להתאים את אורך המיטה ואת המכשיר הרובוטי שמחזיק את המזוודות. אני מתכוון לשהות כאן שוב. JJ ורוברט גם כן סיפקו שירות מעולה!

אולטרה מודרני, סגנון עכשוי ואוירה עם שיק. חדר קטן אבל מאוד נוח, כוחו העיקרי של המלון בכך שהוא סופר-טרנדי ומקום cool כדי להסתובב, להרגע או להיות בחברה.אתכנן להתארח כאן בעתיד!

מאוד נהינו מהשהות שלנו במלון Yotel בכיכר טיימס. החדרים קצת קטנים אבל מעולים לשהות לשבוע אחד. הם הצליחו בצורה חכמה לסדר את החלל כך שלא תרגישו צפיפות. היו לנו שתי מזוודות גדולות שהתאימו מתחת למיטה. המיטה הייתה מעולה, מאוד נוחה ואהבתי שאפשר להפוך אותה לספה כשלא ישנים. בנוסף זו מחווה נחמדה שיש קפה ותה חינמיים בכל קומה. מכונת הקפה שלנו לא עבדה כל השבוע אבל השתמשו בזו שבקומה אחרת וזה היה בסדר גמור. דברים חיובים אחרים היו שהיה להם אינטרנט אלחוטי חינמי, הרבה נקודות חשמל בחדר וארוחת המאפינס על חשבון הבית בקומה הרביעית בכל בוקר. אני ממליץ להזמין שולחן במסעדת Bottomless brunch ביום שבת או ראשון. עבור 35$ אתם תקבלו ארוחת אכול כפי יכולתך במשך שעתיים מתפריט הברנץ' שלהם. בימי ראשון יש להם די. ג'י. ולמרות שזה רועש למדי (תזמינו שולחן רחוק מהבר אם אתם רוצים להיות מסוגלים לנהל שיחה) זה מאוד כיף ושווה את המחיר. סך הכול אמליץ לאנשים לנסות אותו, מכיוון שזה מלון טוב, חדש ונקי במיקום טוב המאפשר לחקור את העיר.

קיבלנו מחיר טוב לחדר. לא הייתי משלמת יותר עבור חדר במלון הזה. עשר דקות הליכה מ- Time Square אבל השירות לא היה כל כך טוב (אין שירות חדרים) והחדר לא היה כל כך נקי (שיער בכיור) הייתי ממליצה על המלון הזה רק במידה שמשיגים עיסקה ממש טובה.

תסירו בבקשה את כיסוי הפלאסטיק שלכם מן המיטה....לא הבנתי מדוע היה לי חם ולא הצלחתי לישון ....עד שאתמול בלילה פתאום שמתי לב שלא הורידו את כיסוי הפלאסטיק מן המיטה. מדהים שאתם מנסים להגן על מיטה...מה, אתם לא יודעים כמה קשה לישון על הפלסטיק?!

החבר שלי ואני תושבי ניו-יורק אבל התארחנו ב- Yotel ללילה אחד. זה היה תהליך צ'ק-אין כל כך קל. המיקום הוא טוב כי זה לא ממש בתוך השיגעון של Time Square אבל בכל זאת קרוב מספיק כדי להגיע לשם ברגל. החדרים קטנים אבל נוחים, במיוחד המיטה המתכווננת! המטבחון מאוד נוח והעיצוב הכללי של המלון חדשני.

מצאתי את הגורים הקבועים שלי! אני אוהבת את הכל במלון הזה. יש בו אוירה מאוד צעירה. נהנתי מאוד מן היעילות של החדר הדי קטן (מי מבלה את הזמן שלו בחדר במלון כשהוא מבקר בניו-יורק?), נעשה שימוש טוב בכל החלל. המסעדה והפאטיו החיצוני היו פנטסטיים. הדבר היחידי שלא נהנתי ממנו היה ה- "nightclub" של שבת בערב אבל נדמה לי שהוא מנוהל על ידי ספק חיצוני. מיקום נהדר. בטוח שאחזור.

לגמרי נהניתי מהשהות שלי במלון Yotel, למרות שמו הנורא. ברגע שהמונית שלי הגיעה, שני אנשי בל בוי באו לעזרתי. אחד פתח לי את דלת המונית והשני הוציא את המזוודות שלי מתא המטען. מרשים מאוד – הרגשתי כאילו הגעתי למלון במאווי. מיד ליוו אותי לאזור הרישום העצמי בלובי שהוא למעשה קיוסק שבו מועלת ההזמנה שלכם וניתן לכם מפתח לחדר. אחר כך, הבל בוי עולה אתך לחדר ומסביר לך על מתקני המלון. בנוסף, יש גם ארוחת בוקר כלולה במחיר. לא אכלתי שם, כך שאני לא יכול להגיב על איכותה. הייתי בניו יורק מטעם העבודה, כך שלא ביליתי הרבה זמן במלון עצמו, אבל אהבתי שבכל קומה יש מכונת קפה של Lavazza שמגיעה עם קפה בחינם! באשר לחדר, הוא היה נחמד אם כי קטן, אבל ידעתי את זה כשהגעתי למלון. המיטה משנה צורה כך שבמשך היום אפשר לשבת עליה ובלילה ניתן להפוך אותה, באופן אלקטרוני, למיטה. לצערי, המיטה קשה, אני מתכוון לקשה מאוד. זו יכולה בהחלט להיות בעיה לחלק מהאנשים. הבעיה היחידה השנייה שלי הייתה שלחדר היה ריח של שיער שרוף. ניחשתי שהריח בא מהנורה שליד המיטה שחיממה את בית המנורה שלה...או שאולי מישהו שרף את השיער שלו בזמן שייבש אותו עם מייבש השיער?! לבסוף, זה לא הפריע לי, אבל השירותים הם חלק מהחדר עצמו, והופרדו רק על ידי זכוכית ו-ווילון. לי זה היה מעולה, אבל אם הייתם מביאים מישהי לחדר והייתם צריכים להיות הרבה בשירותים, זה עשוי היה להרוס את סיכוייכם עם אותה בחורה. סך הכל הייתי שוהה כאן שוב מכיוון שהמחיר טוב, אבל לא הייתי מביא את אשתי. מקום נחמד ומאוד יוצא דופן. שווה לנסות!

לא יכולה לחשוב על דבר אחד רע להגיד על המקום הזה. הצוות נהדר, החדר שלי תמיד ללא רבב (ואני בררנית) אפשר ממש להרגיש שהמקום כולו עובד אך ורק כדי לעשות שהשהייה שלנו תהיה מהנה.

I've used Yotel frequently for three years and like its location and cleanliness. However since this year, standards have slipped and prices have gone up. Rooms are less clean and show signs of wear and tear, fan is getting very noisy at night, and the rates have gone up to the point that at this price point I have other choices that provides better location and service. Sorry to come to this conclusion.

Very unique, clean, fun, great staffed hotel in NYC. Like many hotels small rooms but hotel compensates with modern necessities like lots of accessible outlets, iPhone hookups and free WIFi. Good location and easy to get cabs. I would stay there again.

Yotel is a very trendy place for those are open to a different type of atmosphere. You walk in and check yourself in, someone will be there to help you. Restaurant and Bar is located in the lobby on the 4th floor, that's where you get concierge service. The hotel is located about 4 or 5 blocks from times square which is like a 6-10 minute walk -- very convenient. Continental breakfast includes muffins, water and coffee. Rooms are very small, but that's the cabin style I was expecting. Not a terrible stay, it took care of the necessities as I was there for business. NO ROOM SERVICE really threw me off, next time that will be a requirement when choosing a hotel. The staff was polite, and the bell hop can answer most of your questions about subways, transits etc. I would stay there again, if the price was right. Good place just to lay your head but I tried to stay out of the room as much as possible.

I iron my own business clothes so a full size iron is very important to me. This hotel only offers the mini ironing boards......hate em! The hotel is quite a walk from any subway stops but pretty nice other than that.

Over all it was a lovely stay. I enjoyed the concept and most of the staff was first rate and helpful. When I arrived the room was in great shape except that it needed vacuuming and the bathroom area needed mopping. I called housekeeping and they said they would be there right away. They never came. The next day when they cleaned the room, the same thing happened....fresh sheets and towels, everything cleaned and tidied up, except the floors. Perhaps they vacuum cleaner and mop on 17 is broken? Except for that little detail, I was pleased. I'll go back, for sure.

Looked like a cruise ship, very small rooms and the most uncomfortable bed EVER (like a pull out sofa) BUT, it was cheaper and still clean for NYC. I'd stay there again if it's more about price and location vs. Comfort

No complaints other than the elevators took forever the morning I was leaving - about 7:30am or 8:00am.

But it really fits with the way many of us travel. You don't spend a lot of time in the room, there's huge common areas, and the people watching is fabulous...You'll wonder what planet you've landed on. Super smart and only tries a little too hard to be hip.... In a word, it's fun...

I was impressed with the hotel and their customer service. The location is excellent. I had a room with a significant cleanliness issue upon check in, but was quickly moved to a new room with no issues.

I knew the rooms would be small so no surprise. I was expecting it to be closer to time sq. I was expecting it to be funkier than it was. Give me the W instead anytime. Worth doing but not again I'm afraid.

Yotel's effort to be 'hip & New York' made it impractical & uncomfy. 2 lift system to get to room is hassle, no indication where lifts are at or if going up or down - some say hip, I say annoying/impractical. Beds were shockingly hard futons that adjusted up & down at button touch, another eg of 'hip' but uncomfy. We did 6wks in Europe/US, WORST BED WE HAD! Both woke up hourly with sore backs - unbearable, made us overtired & contributed to us not enjoying NY to the full. Safe got stuck locked twice, 2nd time when we were leaving for airport. Had money & passports in it so we couldn't leave. Security were slow opening it, after 30min delay we were driven by Yotel's car to airport when I told management we would miss flight due to delay. My wife is Coeliac so couldn't eat free brekky muffins. We bought gluten free bread, explained to waiter & asked if they could toast bread/give us some butter for it (in place of the free muffin she couldn't eat). Waiter refused so I spoke to manager & she overturned decision. My wife was so embarrassed that we bought butter to use the next 2 mornings. One kind chef cooked up her toast each morning, most staff were pretty good. Hotel location is handy to restaurants on 9th Ave but from 10th Ave to 7th Ave Times Square takes 10mins when you factor in pedestrians/lights, not as convenient as suggested. I'm not a serial complainer, just a heads up what to expect. We stayed 30nts at hotels.com places & this is only negative review I'm listing.

Would not stay there again, not a four star hotel

Booked at Yotel to attend a business conference at the Javits Center. It was a great location; close to the venue and clean and efficient. I'd stay there again.

Excellent location. Room size is acceptable. Like the modern automation features such as auto check in/out, auto storage/retrieval of luggage, easy conversion of bed from sofa position to full size bed and vice versa, etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed at the hotel on two occasions. Would return to stay should need arises to stay in New York on the future. Highly recommended.

Was in NYC for my daughter's 16th birthday and thought Yotel would be 'trendy.' The room was fine but very sparse. View was fantastic. No amenities - not even lotion or hair conditioner. Love the communal galley idea but space was a closet. Suggest they look at Swissotel for pointers on how to pull it off better.

The rooms are smaller than I would have imagined. Which would have been okay if they weren't 3-person cabins with only a thin curtain between the bathroom and sleeping areas. If you like hearing your roomies use the restroom like they're right next to you, this is the hotel for you! Also, the restaurant service is ATROCIOUS! One of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. Luckily one of the managers came over and did his best to make things right in the end. Checking in took 45 minutes. Really necessary? This place is a hot mess.

Great Location,but the Hotel is already starting to look tired and in need of a lick of paint.Staff helpful but disorganised.Expensive for what you get.

We stayed in New York for three nights. We parked our car in the garage under the hotel. Took the elevator into the lobby, and checked in. It's a self check in so you don't have to wait. We went up to our room and found a very clean and nice room. We expected it exactly as it was because we did read reviews and that room that we were in which is the premium cabin was very small. That couch/bed was a futon, which we expected. The bed was uncomfortable but again we knew what we were getting when we booked the room. We walked or took the subway everywhere that we went in New York it's a block and a half or two blocks to the Hudson river and the cruise lines and it's seven or eight blocks to Times Square. From there at the subway system can get you everywhere else you want to go in New York and we didn't have to move our car at all for three days. The staff at the hotel in mission control gave us recommendations on where to get food where to visit really really nice people. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean quiet room centrally located in New York City. Just know that it is small and the bed is relatively uncomfortable.

Pros - really customer service when called upon. Cons - Room too small, mini ironing board useless, not enough water prerssure to feed the fancy shower head, a little too far from the action for my liking. I won't stay again.

Fantastic! The view was amazing. Very clean. Staffs were energetic and friendly. Totally New Yorkers. Impressive luggage bot (robot). Wow.

Loved it. We stayed for one night on our way to visit family and found it perfect for our needs.Consequently we didn't bother trying other hotels on our return journey but stayed there again for two more nights. Check in and out is self service by computer but no need to worry about it if you are not computer savvy because there is always a member of staff eager to help if required. Rooms were a bit different to other hotels we've stayed in. We could have been staying in IKEA, without the maze - clean, modern, everything working & in good condition. No problems. Comfortable, very quiet, no slamming doors or noise from other rooms or outside even though right by a busy junction. If you want room service and all the bowing and scraping look elsewhere but we hate that so it suited us. A good restaurant and, if that is closed, several good ones within a couple of minutes walk. Convenience store/ pharmacy across the road. As a slightly creaky baby boomer I did find the Japanese(?) style bench seating - sitting on the raised floor - in the dining area a tad awkwardt, getting up again being the hardest part but all part of the fun and there was plenty of "normal" seating elsewhere. Have recommended it to our kids who love NY but have stayed in some expensive dumps in the past.

Great location, great city views, ambiance and comfort, seamless use of technology breezes you in and out.

Nice and stylish hotel in the heart of Manhattan. However I would not recommend it for couples. Seeing your partner sitting on the loo thru a glass wall of bathroom can slightly spoil romantic mood;)))

I've stayed here 3 times. It's really a fun place. The cabin theme is fun, but progressively the beds are getting less comfortable as they double as your couch. Time to replace the mattresses guy. I asked for a mattress pad which made the bed bearable. That said, i'll prolly come back. Overall the place is great.

it was really good with a nice view

The Yotel is nice. Its a little dark and in my opinion is catering to young/single guests. My daughter enjoyed the neon lights and remote control bed, however, we all felt that the bed was not a good sleep. You felt the make of the bed through the mattress. This was our only inconvenience everything else was perfect.

Strongly, strongly recommended! Great hotel, great service, very contemporary style! Beautyful!
