Cadaques Caribe Resort & Villas - Bayahibe

It was fine.

I was very impressed with this resort. I was in the DR on business and only for one night but I would have liked to spend the weekend. My room was very nice. I had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were an excellent value (unlike some other resorts) and the food was very good. This place has an extremely large swimming pool, its own beach and other nice amenities.

Catholic Church inside the community. Most of resort is long term owners but cozy and clean. Would be great for families. Lots of great toys like water slides and trampolines. Small enough you wouldn't have to keep too keen an eye on kids

Beautiful beachfront, very friendly staff, clean rooms. The air conditioner and toilet in the room were very noisy but otherwise everything else was perfect.

I cannot think of anything I would have changed. The people were phenominal. This place is Awesome! The staff could not have been better. Food was reasonable, and excellent. Accomodations were superb!

we had 3 wonderful nights at this hotel. Friendly stuff, good service and the location is 5 stars...............We can only recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an relaxing vacation.............

Our stay was great and I hope to stay again the next time we travel that way. We only had one night in town and it was nice to find a resort that would let us book a room for a short stay. The ocean was beautiful. We enjoyed the giant floating water slide and other ocean playground equipment. The childrens pool area with slides and water toys was well cared for. Everyone was friendly and helpful,

We only stayed a few days here, but I must say it was wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, the grounds, the pool, the water park, everything was immaculate. Our room was very nice, big flat screen tv on the wall, big comfortable king size bed, very nice bathroom. I am not sure when this hotel/villas were built but it didn't look very old at all, very up to date. The food at the restaurant was excellent, loved the dominican breakfast, brick oven pizzeria. The beach was nice, it had alot of rocks, so I walked about a quarter mile down and found a sandy beach, it was great to me because it was secluded and there were not alot of people, very quiet and peaceful, good for relaxing. This is definitely a family friendly place, alot of things for the kids to do and play. I met the General Manager and he was very nice, I enjoyed talking with him. I think he does an outstanding job, and I like that he cares what the people think of the place, he wants people to enjoy themselves and have a good experience and come back. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

We aren't sure whether we just hit a really quiet weekend but it seemed like there was only about 8 groups in this beautiful, well kept, tranquil hotel/ condo complex. The staff were all incredibly attentive (we were definitely outnumbered). However, I was removed from the water park because I was, in the security guards opinion "inappropriately dressed". The clothing in question was board shorts, I got kicked out for not being naked enough! So women beware, if you are of the mind to NOT be picking a wedgie out of your butt every ride, avoid the water park. (bloody great fun while it lasted though). Overall, a lovely place to stay if you are looking for quiet empty beaches, reasonably bi-lingual staff and very good drinks at a good price, give it a go. We will definitely be back, presumably with a tiny bikini.

WI Fi was pretty much nonexistent. At time it barely work, most of the time it was not worth the effort and our room was right next to an access point. All the restaurants seemed to be out of of many things on their menu the whole 6 days we were there. One day chicken was the only thing they had. The bed was way too soft for me. Location was fine if you liked to be out of the way. It is at the end of the road with a national park right next door. A car is needed if you want to go anywhere else.

An incredible place. Secluded yet close to town. A small intimate resort where u get to know the employees and a closeness you won't get at the mega resorts.

In a recent trip to Dominican Republic my family and I had the great pleasure of staying at this location. We all enjoyed on stayed for many reasons 1. We felt safe, the area was patrolled by security, and had a gate house that would limit any non registered guests or visitors in the location. 2. Clean.. Every area were visited it be the Water Park, the Room, the customer service desk, the restaurant, and bathrooms, the pool. and well maintained and kept. 3. We loved the room, luxury is the details from the linens, to the bath towels to the 42" Plasma it reminded me of being at home. 4. We received great service anything we requested was always handled quickly and with a smile. 5. The water park was a huge hit with the kids they didn't want to leave. 6. There were a few small shops like a doctors office, spa, coffee shop, gallery, and etc. We had originally booked this location for 2 nights but extended our stay to 5 nights would have done 7 but they were full after the 5 nights. So what is the bad? Well it is a little ways away from any major shops and while there is a few small shops in the resort it is not the same. We ended leaving the resort quiet a few times and visiting some of the local restaurants and shops about 7km away. The worst? This place will become a big hit soon and be fully packed and prices will be going up. So make your visit before that happens :-)

This resort's beach is actually in Playa Dominicis not Playa Bayahibe. We stayed there in the 3rd week of March and practically had the resort to ourselves. We were in a Queen room #108 with 1 bed. The bed was actually a King though and very comfortable. In addition to the A/C the room was equipped with a ceiling fan. The shower was awkward because the nozzle was a hand held nozzle and sprayed at the back wall. The staff was courteous, helpful and a few of them spoke English. There a computer in the lobule to access the internet. Cadeques is actually an ownership property (timeshare and condos) except for the one building that is rented as a hotel. This building is furthest from the beach on the property. It's not too far of a walk because you get to admire the beautiful pool along the way. There is a small water park, including slides, at the resort that is open from 2-5p during the week and slightly longer on the weekend. One of the unique fun things about the resort were the large inflated water toys designed for adults. It reminded us of some of the challenges on the TV show "wipeout." If you plan to Scuba Dive, you will need to travel to Bayahibe which is about a 7-10 minutes drive. Casa Daniel was a great dive shop and has friendly dive instructors.

I had a trip to Santo Domingo for business and brought my wife along, we decided to look for a nice beach resort to spend a few days and we ran across Cadeques on Hotels.com, the pictures look great, the price was great but the reviews were mixed, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was great! we got a room close to the water, the room was big with a kitchenette, refrigerator, complimentary water etc... the beach was incredible, I have traveled all over the Caribbean and abroad, and with the exception of Bora Bora, this was the most beautiful place I've seen. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and well priced as well as the drinks, they have a waterpark at the hotel, which was open and fully functional and a lot of fun. Not a busy beach, very serene, if your looking for a party resort this is NOT it, very quiet. Most of the place is condos, so there is not a lot of people and few hotel rooms. There was hot water, however the AC wasn't working great but it wasn't terrible. all in all, we had an amazing time, and would recommend it to anyone. We can't wait to go back!

Hotel has a nice beach and is in excellent condition. Rooms were great and well appointed. Beds comfortable. Staff helpful. 2 restaurants on site and they were good and had surprisingly reasonable prices (not as cheap as going into town of Bayahibe, but they were no more than the cost of a comparable meal in the U.S.). Also had small market with some groceries and snacks that stayed open til 10 pm and was very reasonably priced (about the same as US prices for things like cokes and bottled water). The hotel is literally "at the end of the road" coming down the peninsula from Bayahibe. If you wanted to go anywhere in the area, I think a taxi or rental car would be the only practical way (we had a rental car), or you can book day trips through the hotel to places like Isla Soana. If you are just wanting a laid back beach vacation, you could have a very nice trip just going from the airport by taxi (about 15 miles away) and returning by taxi, and staying the remainder of your time on property. Only slight negative experience we had was that when we checked in the first night, we had no towels, soap or pillowcases in the room. Found a maid at about 10 pm who brought towels and soap. We didn't notice there weren't pillowcases until we went to bed around 11:30 and by then there was no one from housekeeping around so we had to make "makeshift pillowcases" by wrapping our pillows in t-shirts (LOL). I think it was just an honest mistake though, and I wouldn't hold that against them to much. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The resort looks good but except the pool and a small beach with a restaurant the only place you therê is not much to do there. It appears to be expensive for what it is if you add up food and drinks. The Resort is approx. 6 miles away from a small tourist place called Dominicus but except to buy sun cream there is not much to do there. Bahayibe is the best place to spend 1 or 2 days as it kept its typical architecture and lifestyle.

I wasn't satisfied with the hotel. The room wasn't to my liking and wasn't the room I paid for based on the pictures provided on your website- I paid for a suite and the hotel claimed not to have suites available and ended up giving me a standard room (very basic). I truly feel cheated. The first night we had to ask to be moved to another room because a party in the room next to ours, would not let us sleep. I am never going back to this hotel and don't recommend it to anyone.

We spent four wonderful days in Cadaques Caribe in this Mediterranean-like hotel and village. Everyone was courteous, kind, helpful and friendly, making sure we could do everything, including going on a catamaran and speedboat to Isla Saona, in spite of the fact that my husband had a cast on his leg. For a relaxing, safe and quiet holiday, we recommend you research this beautiful area set on the turquoise waters of the warm Caribbean.

This is an exquisite setting and is really relaxed and quiet. there is a water slide for children and so the kids tend to be at the oposite end of the resort from the beach so you can ally relax with no interuptions. the swimming is gat from the jetty and the view is amazing. true carribean blue water. if you want nightlife you will have to travel a few miles as this is a very small resort and is a bit of a way from the main town. I loved it but if you want bright lights and loud music forget it. The staff were great and very helpful and even gave tasters of the cocktails to my companion and myself. this helped no end with the atmosphere.

A mini water park on premises. Entrance to water from the beach is poor, lost of coral rock, but they have a boardwalk to a large gazeebo with a sandy bottom and chest deep water.

Food in the restaurant was exceptional.

There might be other hotels with a better piece of the Dominicus beach, but Cadaques has a bunch of cool toys to play with when you are in the water. And their mini waterpark is very nice. The restaurant was so-so. Going again for sure.

Very quiet, clean and spacious hotel. Nothing like the crowded resorts. Perfect for a family retreat. Will for sure go back there

This is an awesome hotel for kids. It has an amazing water park for kids of all ages, but mostly above 5yrs. You also have the beach, and other activities. The only downside to this resort is it's "remote" location from any convenience stores. If you are looking for a place to relax while your kids roam around and have a blast, this is the place to go!

La calidad en general estubo bastante bien, muy comodo para ir en familia con niños tienen areas especiales para su entretenimiento, la atencion muy buena, lo unico que no nos gusto fue la variedad de la comida que hay en el restaurante, pues uno se queda mas de 3 dias y ya no ha nada diferente que comer el menu es muy reducido y es el mismo para almuerzo y cena, y la playa no nos gusto no tiene casi playa esta llena de corales y piedras que uno no se puede meter hay que caminar hacia un muelle donde es el area que se puede meter al agua

muy agradable y el hotel y el servicio de muy buena calidad

Een prachtig hotel alles pieko bello... Restaurant enz. mooi. Eten redelijk goed.. Personeel heel lief en vriendelijk.. die kunnen er niets aan doen..Ze kunnen als 't 'n beetje druk word .. alléénalles niet aan.. Dan komt er hulp personeel en die zijn nog minder opgeleid ... Dus ze doen hun best .. maar het ligt dus meer aan de chef of manager. In de keuken idem dito koken prima ... en heerlijk.. Maar dan bij iets meer drukte .. komt het koud of met verbrand brood enz.op de tafel... Dit was met Kerst 2012 en was niet zo druk, dus als het ECHT druk is loopt alles hélemaal in het honderd.. . ondanks dat het personeel van hele... goede wil is... Dus Chef ...ik kom néél graag weer terug, want als het dan GOED loopt is 't méér..... als de moeite waard !! Dan is het een... TOP... aanrader...!!!!!

Hotel simples mas muito aconcehgante, a beira de uma praia de águas calmas e cenários maravilhosos. Pouco movimentado, apesar do tamanho do lugar, o que deixa o hotel com um ar de exclusividade. Tem uma loja de conveniências que vende de tudo (de tudo mesmo !!!) e fica bem perto dos quartos. O restaurante perto da praia com ambiente agradável, serve comida muito boa. A localização é perfeita, fica na porta de entrada do Parque Nacional Del Este, num lugar muito tranquilo. Único ponto negativo é que a maior parte dos quartos são no andar térreo, tirando um pouco da privacidade, pois as janelas ficam de frente para as ruelas, mas são equipados com cozinha completa e de limpeza impecável.

Il resort gode di una posizione privilegiata essendo molto isolato da tutto il resto. A prima vista tutto sembra perfetto:l'attenzione al cliente, le strutture recettive e l'unico ristorante ma in realtá non é cosi. Le camere ai piani bassi sono molto umide e l'odore stantio é impossibile da togliere. Abbiamo richiesto una stanza nuova al primo piano e siamo stati accontentati (dopo un'ora e mezza) ma, la situazione logistica era comunque precaria. Tubo della doccia che perde acqua,materassi scomodi e molto rumorosi, scarico del water difettoso e l'aria condizionata (un 12000 BTU per una stanza piccola) che accesa pareva il reattore di un jet:inutilizzabile. L'unico ristorante disponibile (in realtá sono 2 ma uno non ha mai funzionato per mancanza di clienti) che é un ranchón sulla spiaggia é caro e non soddisfa le aspettative: pagare cosi tanto per un buffet criollo in cui offrivano miseri pezzi di carne di maiale non ha senso e stessa tariffa anche per i bambini. La colazione buffet inclusa nel prezzo nella stanza é mediocre. Internet free wi-fi inutilizzabile dalla lentezza:quasi impossibile la comunicazione con skype. L'unica nota positiva sono le piscine con gli scivoli ideali per il divertimento dei piú piccoli. Attenzione ai midges (piccoli moscerini) sulla spiaggia:sono piccoli ma fanno bolle enormi e fastidiose...

とても満足。ホテルは敷地が広く、手入れも行き届いて、滞在中困ることはありませんでした。レストランは１つしかないので、チョイスに困りますが、ピザはピザ用の釜があり、本格的でとても美味しかったです。ホテルのフロントののビーチは砂浜とまでは行きません（少し石がゴロゴロして足が痛いです）が、少し先に歩くと、そこは白い砂にきれいな遠浅な海が広がっていて最高です。是非また泊まってみたいと思います。

Me gustaría agradecer a todo el personal de este hotel por su atención y gran trabajo.Hemos estado 5 noches y lo hemos pasado genial! las habitaciones son muy amplias y están muy bien equipadas.la playa que esta en frente del restaurante de este hotel es preciosa, mar con agua cristalina, todas las instalaciones son de calidad muy alta. La playa es de arena dorada, había muchos pájaros preciosos, nadando podéis ver muy cerca muchos peces típicos del mar caribe. Lo recomiendo a todos y volveré con mucho gusto!!

Excelente hotel!

Si il y avait un bémol à émettre, celui-ci serait lié à la qualité du service à la réception qui n'est pas à la hauteur de l'ensemble des autres services proposés par l’hôtel. A recommander pour les personnes souhaitant se reposer, dans un contexte idyllique, en famille ou e couple.

bon hôtel, chambre de bon confort, personnel efficace et accueillant. Le complexe est agréable, calme avec une jolie piscine, les restaurants sont de bonne qualité. La plage privée est propre, bien placée, attrayante. C'est une bonne adresse, un complexe à taille humaine où l'on ne se sent pas complètement isolé du reste de l'île. Bayahibé, joli village de pêcheurs n'est pas très éloigné.

Os quartos são ótimos, confortáveis e limpos. Os funcionários são educados e gentis. É ideal para quem busca tranquilidade. Não tem música alta, a praia não é lotada e não tem fila pra nada. O restaurante a comida é boa e não é cara.
