Easy to get to, although almost missed the front door. Small basic room, but comfy and warm. Free breakfast we'll received. As a budget overnight stop in London it's fine.

I visited London for one night. For it's price it was clean and decent. I would recommend it for someone who just wishes to have some sleep in a clean hotel.

I had a horrible time at this hotel. The staff was not helpful, acted as if they did not want to be there and was at times downright rude. This hotel is more like an overpriced youth hostel. They beds were uncomfortable and my sheets had a tear in them. My room faced the street which was LOUD. I was awakened numerous times throughout the night. I cancelled my stay and found a new hotel after only 1 night (I was booked for 5).

The Royal Hyde Park Hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of London. The room had obviously been recently refurbished and was small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay in the heart of London. It was very clean and, indeed there was an aroma of disinfectant. The room overlooked the busy Queensway and there was some noise (what you would expect in a city centre hotel) not enough to keep us awake though. Just one comment about breakfast - the times are clearly posted as 0730-0930 - make sure you've had anything you need before 0930 because everything is cleared away exactly at 0930!

Very good value for money. Nice quiet room at the back, big enough to accommodate a family of 4 like mine. Very clean room/ hotel. Not all the plug were working though.. Couldn't recharge booth camera and phones!

On the plus side is good being close to tube&bus stops & places to eat.The negative being small rooms,my first was on the 4th floor (no elevator) with a noisy exhaust -fan from the restaurant below out-side the window till 11pm .The next room was even smaller with creaking floor boards on the room above.The hotel has been freshly painted with decent although cramped showers & toilet.O K for short stay

I stayed during the Olympics (so not taking into the account the extreme increase in price as compared to its normal cost). The good...GREAT location near the Bayswater undergoing station. Extremely convenient in this regard as well as the number of really close restaurants. The not so good...the AC didn't work well at all (I had it set on 18C and it felt like it was only putting out around 25C), one morning there was no hot water, the room was extremely noisy (if youre put next to the stairs, ask to be moved)- every time the stairwell door opened, it slammed shut (at ALL hours of the night) and every room door slammed (they need to invest in the things that make doors shut more quietly)and also a big annoyance was that you had to put a deposit down just to get a TV and AC remote. So If you're looking for cheap and easy place to rest your head, stay here; otherwise look elsewhere.

The room was extremely clean and comfortable, the negatives being acceptable for the price paid for the room. The negatives were: no tea/coffee making facilities in room; no chair and no surface other than a bedside unit; very small room; noise from Queensway. But I would happily stay again for a reasonable price: the location is excellent.

basic room but practicle. room itself was very clean and the ensuite was too, actually it was spotless! located in a busy happening street, loads of various eateries nearby, various shops and the tube just a stones throw. staff pleasant. tv worked fine for what we saw of it. all in all a very good place to stay and would go there again without a doubt.

Clean room, clean bed and bathroom and friendly staff. Great hotel, no problems whatsoever!!

I have never stayed in a more terrible place. It is not supposed to be found in Hotels.com. All the pictures they had online was not what I saw. They had hospital-like beds that were too low and too small for an adult. Who offers a hotel room in this age without a table or a chair? Lets not even talk about other necessary amenities like a house phone, internet facility, refidgirator or proper lighting. My stay, to say the least was extreemly uncomfortable and I wouldnt recommend the hotel to anyone.

Very seedy location and entrance. Reception in need of, or possibly undergoing, repair - hard to tell. Room was, however, better than feared. Small, basic but clean and newly fitted shower room worked fine.

Terrible. Staff were new and didn't know what services were provided. Required a deposit for an iron, but could not provide an ironing board, later stuffing a note under my door to state that ironing boards were not supplied to guests. Entrance way a mess with building waste on the carpet. Room tiny, single glazed onto a busy main road and what sounded like karaoke in the nearby pub until after 1am. Instant coffee was the highlight of breakfast.

This is what I would call a budget hotel as far as London goes. The room we had was clean, fairly comfortable and reasonably quiet although a liitle small. Stairs were narrow and there were no lifts so carrying suitcases was a little difficult at times. The only real drawbacks were no chair(s) in the room and the bathroom was very small - excellent shower but the wash handbasin was tiny and lavatory, set at an angle, did not offer much room. Breakfast was OK. Continental style, it was adequate. All in all, a no frills hotel in an interesting location that is good for central London and most of the city attractions.

Sentral beliggenhet og ingen trafikkstøy! Frokost på hotellet og kort vei til t-banen. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening!

Grundsätzlich fand ich den Aufenthalt im Royal Hyde Park Hotel in Ordnung. Das mir zugewiesene Zimmer befand sich in der 4.Etage und mangels eines Aufzuges (!) waren immerhin ca. 70 Treppenstufen mit Gepäck zu überwinden. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein und es gibt außer einem schmalen Kleiderschrank mit drei Kleiderbügel (!) keine weitere Möglichkeit etwas - wie 2. Hose oder Jacket - ordentlich aufhängen zu können. Empfehlung : entweder noch 1 oder 2 zusätzl. Kleiderbügel zur Verfügung stellen oder unterhalb des an der Wand installierten Fernsehers ein Brett mit 4 od. 4 Kleiderhaken anbringen. Sehr gut hat mir die eingebaute Duschkabine gefallen (!) - Handwaschbecken und WC-Schüssel klein aber fein ! Auch positiv anzumerken der 2-malige Hand-tuchwechsel während meines Aufenthaltes von 5 Nächten. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war die umständliche Handhabung der Fenster,die nur über Klettern auf dem viel zu großen Bett für das kleine Zimmer erreichbar waren. Der Befestigungshaken für das linke Fenster ist abgebrochen und müsste repariert werden. Zum Frühstück ist anzu-merken, daß es gut war - bis auf den Kaffee Ihr Servicepersonal - Reception und Frühstücksraum - ist freundlich und aufgeschlossen ! Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel empfehlen Auch noch positiv anzumerken ist die günstige Verkehrslage - 2x Underground - und diverse Buslinien.

Chambre trés propre, petite mais très bien équipée 1 lit double et 2 lits superposés, nous étions 4 (3 adultes et une ado) non située côté rue donc calme. Petit déjeuner correct. A 2 pas des stations de métro, accueil sympa.

Helt nöjd med hotellet. Bra läge,trevlig och serviceminded personal. Kommer defenitivt boka där fler ggr.

Hôtel très bien situé, de nombreux restaurants à proximité immédiate, si vous ne recherchez pas une table gastronomique (le pays ne s'y prête pas de toute façon). Station de métro à 100m, Hyde park à 100m. Très propre (peintures refaites récemment), le petit déjeuner est correct et le personnel courtois et attentionné. Chambre toute petite, pas de commode ou quoique ce soit pour poser ses affaires en dehors d'un placard. Fenêtre fendue, isolation phonique très moyenne, vue sur un champ de climatiseurs dans une arrière cour sombre. Bref, OK si vous recherchez un lit et un toit et passez le plus clair de votre temps à visiter Londres ça passe, quoique un peu onéreux pour la prestation.

The hotel is clean and recently renovated. The location is very good right next to the Bayswater tube station, however the windows face a busy street with very little noise cancellation, so do bring in your ear plugs! All in all good value for the money I was able to spend.

Bra budgetalternativ - nära till tunnelbana och busslinje. Helt okej frukost. Funkade helt okej.

A small hotel with noisy rooms. Our room had only lamps in the ceiling wich made it impossible to read in bead when some of us wanted to sleep. Close to good communications and restaurants.

Ypperligt läge för aktiv semester. Bra och mättande frukost. Mycket små rum. Fräscht badrum.

Although the RHPH has had a make over, our room for this stay faced the busy Queensway and the single layered windows and old wooden frames neither kept noise nor wind out of the room, so basically 4 days without much sleep. The door to the room gaped up to ½" and the draft from the always open front and hallway doors contributed to keeping the temeperature down, although the radiator did work, it couldn't prevent us from getting a cold. Water from the shower cabin leaked onto the bathroom floor, which was always cold, and the door to the bathroom could only open halfway without a serious push, due to bad fitting. That said, RHPH offers excellent room rates and is ideally located close to shopping, cafés, 2 Tube stations and plenty of bus lines.

Förvånansvärt bra frukost till skillnad mot andra kontinental frukostar i London. Det renligast hotell jag bott på i London. Dock är det heltäckningsmatta vilket det är mer eller mindre överallt i London. Bra för priset. Ibland kunde personalen vara mindre trevlig i receptionen, men första dagen fanns en mycket trevlig och hjälpsam kvinna. Bra städnings varje dag, och rena handdukar utan att man bad om det eller slängde som använda på golvet. Rummen är väldigt små men funktionella. Läget är bra. Ska man till Oxford street (Marbel arch) tar det 5-7 min med buss och 15-20 min på gående fot. Tunnelbana går också bra att åka men bussen går fortare och är även 1 pund billigare.

●良い点①Queensway駅、 Bayswater駅いずれにも近い　②朝食は種類豊富でしっかり食べられる　③スーパー、コインランドリーも近く便利　●良くない点①部屋でWi-Fiが使えるということで選んだが、3泊中3日間とも繋がりにくくなるトラブルが発生。その都度フロントで対応をお願いしたが、解消したのは1日だけ。　②部屋にはベッドとクローゼットのみで、机、テーブルやベッドサイドの照明がない。室内での食事や書き物等はベッド上でするしかなく、食べ物・飲み物を置く場所もない。　③ツインルームだったが、ベッド幅は１ｍもなさそうな小さな物　④タオルはバスタオルのみ。2日目はタオル交換されていなかったので前日の物を使用

Det var et meget lille værelse, men vi kunne da være to derinde. Badeværelset var fint, men også lille. Der var pænt og rent der. I receptionen sad en ung mand, som virkede til at være meget ligeglad med hotellets gæster. Alt i alt er vores oplevelse, at det er et fint hotel, hvis man skal have et udmærket sted at sove og det ligger meget centralt, så det er nemt at komme dertil og fra igen. Vi kunne sagtens finde på at bo der igen.

一人旅で利用し、三泊しました。ベイズウォーター駅周辺ということで、ロンドン中心部までのアクセスは抜群でした。が、このホテル、エレベーターがありません。私のホテルが4階だったため、重い荷物を持っての移動が大変でした。ただ、フロントの対応や、部屋の清潔感を考えるとまた利用したいと思える内容でした。

Jag tyckte om hotellet, när vi väl kom fram! Det var väldigt svårt att hitta först för mig och min vän. Det var väldigt fräscht och snyggt, men lite dåligt städat på rummet (det fans tandkrämsfläckar på spegeln). Man hörde ganska tydligt saker som hände utanför fönstret på queensway på natten. Läget är dock hur bra som helst, med bara några meter till bayswater-stationen och med hur många ställen att äta på som helst. Frukosten var ganska bra, med yogurt, toast, flingor, musli, croisant, kaffe, te, mm.

The breakfast was very simple, but OK. Very good range of restaurants and shops in the street where the hotel is. Very small room, but we were only sleeping there, so it was good. Well funktioning Wi-Fi. Very close to the Tube. Easy access to Madame Tussau's.

Helt okej om man inte tänkt göra något mer än att sova på hotellet. Rummet för fyra personer var mycket trångt och det fanns varken bord eller stolar att tillgå. Våningssängen var så instabil att den nästan välte när man skulle klättra upp i den. Detta fixades dock efter att vi sagt till. Frukosten var minimal med rostat bröd med sylt eller marmelad. Rekommenderas endast om du är ute efter billigt boende ganska centralt och inte har några krav på bekvämligheter eller mat.

Hotel liegt 3 min. von der Tube entfernt und fast gegenüber eines Einkaufszentrums. Auch Restaurants gibt es viele in nächster Umgebung. Wir haben den Hoteleingang erst nach längerem Suchen gefunden. Frühstücksbereich recht klein und eng aber ok, man kann den ganzen Tag Tee oder kaffee zubereiten. Zimmer sind klein aber schön hell und zweckmässig und sauber.

Litet rum enbart säng och sängbord, en garderob med fvå galgar men i övrigt fräscht (frånsett allt damm ovanpå garderoben, en plats vi behövde använda för att lägga en väska på). Trevlig personal och godkänd frukost. Hotellets läge är perfekt, tunnelbana, Quensway, på andra sidan gatan, trevliga restauranger, pubar och butiker på gatan. Promenadavstånd genom Hyde Park till de stora shoppingstråket Oxford street. Fräsch toa med dusch och hårtork. AC.

Les douches ont été inutilisables pendant 24h! Simplement inadmissible... Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel!

Meille tarjottiin ensin ensimmäisestä kerroksesta huonetta, jonka ikkunan takana oli iso pino muovisia kuljetuslaatikoita ja ilmastoinnin moottori puhalsi ikkunasta sisään lämmintä ilmaa. Vaadimme parempaa huonetta ja se järjestyi kolmannesta kerroksesta. Huone oli hyvin pelkistetty, ei yhtään taulua, ei hammasmukeja,,,vain kaksi sänkyä. Siistiä ja puhdasta oli ja kylpyhuone oli juuri uusittu. Aamupala oli niukka. Kahvi oli murukahvia. Ja ne recepsuunin likat olivat aika happamen ja nyrpeän näköisiä

Отель превзошел ожидания. В январе останавливалась в другом отеле в том же районе Bayswater - было намного хуже. Royal Hyde Park hotel находится в нескольких минутах ходьбы от 3 станций метро и недалеко от Гайд-парка. Номера, конечно, маленькие (это типично для отелей такого типа в Лондоне), но чистые, с нормальной мебелью и очень хорошим душем. Завтраки тоже неплохие. Персонал дружелюбный, убирались каждый день, никаких проблем не было. Остановилась бы там еще раз.

Helt ok. Gikk på skole i London en sommer og alt. var "dorm" til LSE. ryddig, rene håndklær og sengetøy.. Var tom. Fleksibel på betaling :-)

Huone oli yllättävän pieni. Matkalaukkun sai kunnolla auki ainoastaan sängyllä. Kaappitilaa ei ollut. WC/suihku sen sijaan todella toimiva. Myös ilmastointi toimi vaikka sitä ei voinutkaan itse säätää. Kadulta tuleva meteli häiritsi hieman öisin. Sijainti oli hyvä, eli metroasema oli lähellä ja myös vieressä oleva ostari palveli hienosti.
