The owner was friendly. It was cute. A little older looking. The bed was a bit hard. It was clean. I think the price was a little stiff. Over all it was OK.

If you want fancy beachfront or village accommodations and the price that goes with it, Carlton Circle is not the place for you. It's an older style motel that's a little tired. But the room was clean, the front desk staff was helpful, location was reasonably convenient and the price was unbeatable. I would stay here again.

For the money, you can't beat the place. It's not a Marriott or anything like that but our room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the location was perfect for us. We would not hesitate to stay here again. In fact we plan to again.

Just wasn't clean which is probably the worst thing for a hotel. Everything was old and falling apart. Location wasn't bad.

Nice owner but the rooms are in need of upgrade. Busted light switches, busted cable & TV, drafty, but clean rooms. No wifi, kind of off the beaten path.

the only gripe I have is it they need to steam clean the carpets ocasionally , other than that it was a great stay for a last minute option and staff was very helpful

I honestly had my doubts about this place when I booked since I paid so little for the room, but hoping for the worst, I checked in. It turns out I was pleasantly suprised, it was obvious that effort had been made to update the place and clean it up. It's clearly a little bit older but the staff was helpful and friendly. They even gave us an iron when the room didn't have one. They also made a point to change one of our rooms so we could be next to some friends of ours who were also staying there. It was better than expected.

The room was small but fine for my one night stay. All necessities were available. Bed was very comfortable. A/C in working order. Micro and fridge available if needed. It was clean.

The room was small -lacked place to hang any clothing -however it was comfortable and very quiet. Only stayed the one night and it was just 2 miles from the event attended. The price was most affordable and was perfect for me for just the one night and distance. Would stay again should I return to the Cape.

The hotel is very old and outdated. The room is very small, there are no table or even a chair. Wa had two double beds, all linens had holes and dirty spots. We are defenetly not recomended this palce. .

I think this motel is in need of a major makeover...toilet in the room ran every half hour all night long curtains need to be darker to shut out the light. Air conditioner was old and noisy..could not leave it on due to noise..Bed and linens were older. Did not get much sleep and I thought it was over priced for the condition of the place. The only plus was the convenience of the location of where I needed to be.

The young woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She was able to recommend 3 great area restaraunts plus the Island Queen ferry. For the price and location I would definitely stay again.

All we wanted was a clean bed, a hot shower and a good night's rest. We got all three.

The family who manage the motel were really helpful. The first room we were shown had absolutely nowhere to hang any clothes. They gave us another which had a hanging rack on the wall. The room was clean with a new bathroom. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee maker with awful coffee! The laundry came in handy. There was a nice swimming pool. Good value for money. Went to reception to check out at 9am but there was no reply to the bell - the family were all asleep after July 4th celebrations! Still, we enjoyed our stay.

Good, nice pool. Only complaint was hairline cracks in door which let in light.

The hotel was easy to find. Not the greatest place in the world. The room was clean, but everything was aged. The mattress was very uncomfortable, my wife and I ended up purchasing pillows at a local store which made the second night better. Didn't use the pool, not many other amenities. Overall a C- rating.

Older but clean and maintained. Family friendly with open space and pool. Staff very helpful.

had to ask for hair dryer. it didn't work well. shower presser was terrible and cold. we didn't have any hot water. what's the deal? hotel staff was never around. we only saw them at check in.

I paid for 2 rooms and when I got there the manager told us that he has no rooms left and he could give us a "cottage" with 2 bedrooms... I contacted Hotels.com in order to find another hotel, but since it was the memorial day weekend there were nothing else available. The cottage was dusty, no air condition in the living room, no hot water (just lukewarm)... Don't go there even if it is the last available room in the area.

Reserved this hotel to stay overnight before a fishing trip. They didn't have a room with 2 double beds that I reserved, but gave us 2 rooms with instead at no extra charge. The place is pretty run down overall. The doors hardly shut, everything looks old and beat up. The room was fairly clean. Not the most comfortable bed though. There are probably better choices for the money.

No bugs, no cigarette burns in the bedspread, quite clean, no bad odors, and very, very nice staff. The problem was a general shabbiness: transparent curtains on the windows, both with floodlights right outside; tiny flat pillows; stopped-up bathroom sink; incredibly noisy and rickety room fan, TV with volume control set too low. The walls were paper thin, which may account for the TV volume. All for a surprisingly steep price. I wish the owners well and hope they can address these problems.

Motel was perfic for my visit. I needed a place to stay for a few days and that is what I got.It is a motel ritght out of the 50's

I had a great time. The only thing wrong was the room phone did not work.

Our room was outdated in terms of bedding and decor, but was extremely clean. We had a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine. The owners were very helpful with local restaurant information. For the price, it was a good room.
