The location was great. The staff was very helpful and made sure we were good at all times. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I will stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great experience at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and the boardwalk is literally steps away. Would recommend to anyone wanting more bang for their buck.

Villa Europa is excellent. It is steps from the boardwalk and they have free bikes so you can go for long lazy rides. Even though the hotel is on the street and steps from the boardwalk, it is actually very quite as the street has barely any traffic. The rooms have central air so one does not even hear the noise of the AC which has been quite a problem at recent hotel stays for me. Great value for the money and highly recommended!!

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Entered from shared courtyard, which has a grill, table & chairs. Well equipped small kitchen, though small packages of condiments would be nice. Fridge was cold, ready for the two bottles of water they gave me at check-in. Nice toiletries provided in bathroom, fresh linen, comfortable bed, couch & table. Located just before the boardwalk, right up from the beach! No motel sign, motel name is on the building around the corner from the main driveway. Arrived during downpour, so was hard to find. Designated parking space better for a small car. This is NOT an upscale place! Perfect for a casual, relaxing vacation.

We've spend one night prior to cruise. Excellent location on the beach, walking distance to several restaurants. The owners made out stay as pleasant as possible. Our cruise was leaving at 7 PM, but we have been allowed to use facility, beachchair ect. even after check out. Taxi ride to the port around $20. Will stay again and highly recomend this place.

Let me start off by saying this was the place my wife and I stayed at before we went on our honeymoon cruise. Wow. Their customer service is to die for. Upon entering the front office, the wife of the owner instantly greeted us and welcomed us to their fine establishment. She walked us through everything in our room, and gave us a plethora of suggestions for around that area. AND WHAT A LOCATION! It is right on the beach, which made it so nice to just walk out and go grab something to eat. They also offer free bike cruisers! So much fun. When we were leaving a freak storm came by when it was supposed to be sunny all day and we had not planned for that. The owner came out and walked our bags to the cab with an umbrella, then GAVE us his umbrella so we didn't have to get wet, as he stood soaking in the rain! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT STAY. Affordable, fun, easy, clean, great customer service, good price, great location. What more could you want. We will be coming back to Florida just because of them.

This was a great place to stay for the price. Certainly not a posh hotel, but the staff was extremely friendly and the beach-front location was hard to beat. They also had free bike rentals and beach chairs we could borrow, and they provided beach towels. My only complaint is that the air conditioning was very loud - had to turn it off for the night.

This place was wonderful. Bed was a double, but if your ok with that then book this hotel. Right in the middle of everything, and right on the boardwalk, just 50 feet from the beach. They had beach cruisers and beach chairs, very clean, cold ac, and a really nice hotel. The week before we were at a $700 a night place, and though this was not that, this was definitely worth every penny we paid for it. It was a very charming hotel, and the managers were very pleasant.

I was only in town for a night but I had a great stay at Villa Europa. Walking out of your room and being 40 steps from the beach cannot be topped! The owners were incredibly hospitable, offering umbrellas, beach chairs and bicycles to take a stroll down the broadwalk. I will definitely think of coming back here if I find myself in Hollywood again.

Very clean. Great staff - very helpful. Bed was good but we like it firmer. Lots of extras - parking, bikes, beach chairs/loungers, BBQ.

Staff was super friendly! Room was small but clean. We used the hotel bikes which was nice. Great location in the middle of the boardwalk. 1 block to the beach. Would stay again!!

Perfect little hotel, basic but very friendly people. We will stay here again in the near future

Luis, the owner was phenomenal. He provides bikes, beach chairs, beach towels at no charge. Patio area with grill. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return.

Great room, location, owners, and SO CLOSE TO BEACH. Everything GREAT you read about this place is TRUE !!!

We spend 2 days. Arrived late and the lady was waiting for us (we confirm the time of our arrival few days in advance). We were able to use the BBQ to prepare our dinner. Very convenient for travelers with limited budget.

Really enjoyed our stay. So close to the beach and the owners and staff are very nice.

Stayed in the studio room for only 2 nights, which has two double beds. The hotel does not pretend to be a high-end beach resort. The room is a bit small. The wall is pretty thin as you can also hear the conversation from the people in the next room. Wi-fi connection is free of charge. However, I couldn't get the computer linked to the internet as the username and password given to me do not work. The hotel is at a good location as the beach literally is less than a minute walk away. Free use of beach chair and bike is offered. Free parking with designated lot for each room. The rate is inexpensive comparing to other hotels in that area. The owner, Luis, is very hospitable making you feel like at home. I probably would stay there again if I travel to that area again.

Great location near beach boardwalk. Staff very friendly. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. No complaints other than not staying for more than one night. I will definitely return when I have more time. No pool, but who cares? You'll be 1/2 block from the beach and an awesome boardwalk. Use of the grills and bicycles included in the cost. Great place in a great part of town.

Friendly staff. Great service. Location was awesome! Rooms were decent....nothing fancy. I'd definately stay here again!!

The only mistake I made was booking an efficiency. Next time (and I will go back again) I'll get the 1 bedroom. My only complaints were that there was limited tv service (no premium channels) and no "easy chair" to sit on. I spent evenings in the room and would have loved a comfy spot to sit while watching tv beside the bed. And, not that it's important, but the refrigerator froze everything regardless of the setting.

The location is wonderful for the price - just a couple blocks from the Broadwalk. The rooms are older, but well taken care of. The people running the place are friendly and hard working. A good value.

Luis is a gracious, generous and accomodating host. Extras include the use of bicycles and beach equipment at no additional cost. The rooms are a little rough around the edges and it is an older property, but that is a part of its charm. Less than a 1/2 block from the beach and broadwalk.

We arrived at the Villa Europa late, very tired, just expecting just a place to sleep. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There was nothing fancy about the room, but it was impeccably clean and the bed was very comfortable. When we got to the room, it was quite warm, so we looked for the A/C. We couldn't see one. Coming from a Vermont Winter, we were afraid it would be too warm for us, but we eventually found a thermostat, adjusted the temperature down, and quickly felt the room cool. We slept very well, which is what we needed to continue our trip the next day. We resolved to come back for an extended stay sometime soon.

We stayed in a one-bed room apt with 2 separate rooms and 2 bathrooms for one night. The location is right next to the beach and good for watching the sun rise. 5 people were happy with the 3 beds(2 queens and 1 full) provided. The AC works very well. You have a clean motel room (with basic facility) but the owner is an extremely nice person and made our stay a 5-star experience. The maid service is once every week so I would not recommend this hotel if you plan a longer stay and wish to have maid service.

This place is the real deal. Amazing service, best hotel experience I have had in years. My only issue is I only had one night before my cruise to stay here, I wish it could have been for longer.

We loved our stay here. This place isn't fancy, but it's right on the beach and had everything we needed for a very reasonable rate. Most of all, the people who run the place are wonderful and attentive, so they made us feel at home. For the price, it was everything we were looking for plus a little extra personal touch from the owners. Would definitely return.

If you are traveling around the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area I highly recommend staying at Villa Europa. Luis, the owner, make you feel very welcomed. While the facility is a little older, it is very well kept. My family will always stay there.

Great location if you want to be next to the beach and restaurants. The hotel provides bikes and chairs. Ate at a great Peruvian restaurant - Pachamama.

Great stay in Hollywood and a great location. My only complaint is that the walls are VERY, VERY, VERY THIN. I'm pretty sure that there's only a locked door that separates adjecent rooms and they have some "jerry rigged" foam board posted up against the wall to muffle sounds from the other room (it doesnt work that well). Other than that, everything else was great.

Absolutely spotless room, It was a 5. I stayed in a twin bed room (I was by myself staying 2 nights) so it met my needs. If I were to stay longer a larger room would have been nice, but I was there for the beach not to hang out in hotel room. It is about 50yds from the beach & easy walking distance to the restaurants. The hotel has basic amenities, BUT had a small fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and all the plates, glasses, silverware, etc., but I didn't need anything, but the fridge. There was some where and tear on some spots of the room (from the humidity and it is an older hotel) but you can tell there is an effort to keep it up. If you look for "stuff" you'll find it, but AGAIN based on the cleanliness I would ABSOLUTELY STAY AGAIN!!! They also had beach chairs of all sizes and bikes (the bikes are older, but served what I wanted which was to take a leisurely ride along the boardwalk). The owners were very nice. Two bottles of water on check-in were given to me. My only issue (which really is a non-issue) was trying to navigate the tv remote. They have a lot of channels, but never figured out how to change the channel other than scrolling up & down, but again I was there for the BEACH, which was so nice. If you're a snob and look for things to criticize, go elsewhere and leave those of us who appreciate a safe, CLEAN, easy access, nicely run, private hotel alone. Also only 15 minute drive to the airport, 30 minutes from South Beach.

Hotel room is very good. Location to the beach is incredible. You spend a few days without moving your car. The only minor complaint is that you can hear your neighbors talking through the walls at 7 am and at midnight.

Hotel was in a great location, right next to the beach. The owner Luis was so helpful at all times. Extra towels, TV help, beach chairs, bicycles. He made our stay extra special. The room we had was perfect for our family, and I highly recommend a stay at the Villa Europa. We will be back there the next time we visit our family in Hollywood.

The owner is AMAZING. So accommodating. A truly nice guy. He made our stay memorable, and went out of his way to ensure our comfort. The boardwalk is a little run down, and outdated. But still a beautiful view of the ocean.

If your looking for clean and great location-look no more. The owners are so hospitable you would almost think you we're related to them. If you are as lucky as we were you might even get a handmade picture from the cutest little girl, their daughter Sarah. Beach chairs, bikes, courtyard all provided along with bottled water. Just a couple of steps from the broadwalk and beach.

We usually stay at Hilton/Hyatt/Marriott type places when we go away but this time I just wanted to be on the beach for a low key getaway. This place was perfect. The owners are FABULOUS - so friendly & accommodating, they gave us hugs when we left. We had an efficiency apt, which was very clean. It's not palatial but was more than adequate. Kitchenette with stocked dishes was very convenient. Cute little courtyard where folks would sit out and eat breakfast or grill out or smoke. All of our "neighbors" were European and very friendly. While you don't step out onto the sand, it's literally about a 30 second walk to it. And the beach & boardwalk has to be the best maintained I'd ever seen. Hollywood area is laid back, yet short enough drive to action of Miami & SoBe. All in all great place with character run by great people - and oh yeah, very affordable!

first of all, let me say that josie and luis are wonderful hosts. they are extremely accommodating. the motel is old but had a great charm and the courtyard was absolutely wonderful to relax in and meet neighbors. the room was a little too dark for me, nothing that higher wattage bulbs couldn't fix. the room was extremely clean and had no bugs (which i look for). the beds were a little hard but that's a personal preference. the kitchen was fully stocked with silverware and tableware for those who want to buy food and save money. the boardwalk was right there, as was the beautiful beach. the boardwalk had all types of food, even good pizza at rocco's. this is coming from a brooklyn girl! everyone on the boardwalk was friendly. hollywood city was close by and full of stores and bars. expensive restaurants were just blocks away and we had amazing seafood and wonderful service. this is not an upscale motel, but if you're looking to relax and save money while vacationing and also being in a clean environment, then you have to try villa europa.
