Great hotel in perfect location for South Beach getaway. Staff was awesome.

Nice hotel, not extravagant, not amazing. Everything was good except for the restaurant by the pool. We and other people around us waited an hour for our orders and then spoke to the manager who basically didn't care. Several tables just got up and left instead of waiting around forever. We did the same after another 10 or 15 min's. We had ordered grapefruit and yogurt and coffee. It would have been nicer if the people cared, but he gave my girlfriend an answer that just made us want to leave. As I said, everything else about the hotel was good but didn't blow me away.

You just couldn't find a better location! This is a stylish, boutique hotel directly on the ocean. You are greeted with a million hands and friendly smiles. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They are equiped with great products. The pool isquaint with excellent service, the gym is perfect and overlooks the pool. There is outdoor eating and a nice little poolside bar. The overall feel is organic. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Location is excellent! Hotel has a very fine and friendly staff, but the overall experience gets 3.5 stars. Seems as if this hotel was set up to be cool and trendy, but it is full of families and those two don't mix! Infrastructure is old, so even though the rooms are nice, they are not lux, and the hallways are poor. Valet staff and front desk were very very nice. We were held-up at a brunch event, and I called to say I would be checking out late, and the voice on the other end could not have been freindlier. Pool area is too small, so you have to wait for chairs.My wife left her $300 sunglasses at the front desk when we checked in and they were retreived from Lost and found the next day -- that is amazing in Miami!

Wonderful, the greatest stay i had ever had in a hotel!!

Nice hotel. Pool charges not necessary. Had 2 items missing from room,including my phone. Hotel claims not responsible!!!!!!be careful!

I liked the hotel, but for the price, it could offer better service. The location couldn't be better. I had some issues with the room service and the vallet. I also didn't liked the fact that I was charged 20 dollars tax for the use of the pool area (100 dollars for 5 days) if I didn't use it a single day... If I would come back? Maybe I would try another one..

Few hotels will impress as much as the James in Miami. The property over-delivers in every way, from the friendly front desk staff to the oversized and very well appointed rooms. It's a huge change from the former Royal Palm that existed on the same site years ago. Didn't get a chance to try the bar or restaurant but both looked inviting. Right now there is probably no better value on the beach.

There was so much noise we couldn't sleep- on the fifth floor! The restaurant and bar are absurdly expensive and slow

One improvement would be to put a sign up at the unopened fitness room (due to not yet passing inspection due to missing handrail), that patrons could see front desk personnel for pass to workout facility next door....I did that the second day that I learned it was closed and missed a workout. The second day I went to the front desk, spoke with the manager and he issued me a pass to the Loews facility which was phenomenal! Just wish I would have known that the first day!

We were not sure if hotel was even open yet but to our delight they were with limited hotel use. We found the staff very accomadating. It was just what we were looking for, not the regular room hotel expierience it offered a bit more. Our deluxe partial ocean view was trendy and very clean. Although you cant sit on balcony you could step out and enjoy the fresh air and view. The main pool was not open yet and there was a lot of construction but it really didnt interfer with us other then trying to get a lounger at 2nd level pool and having to go through restaurant for access. It was just opening so there were not many patrons otherwise could have been awkward. It was the perfect location to get to everything the area had to offer. It was the first time we didnt rent a car and glad we didnt. I'm sure when totally up and running will make a little difference but it was truly a great short getaway. We would certainly go back.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Tolle Zimmer, gute Lage, guter Service - Frühstück gut, aber relativ teuer. Passt allerdings zum Zimmerpreis :-) Alles sauber und gepflegt. Liegt mitten im Art-Deco-Viertel - Shopping/Bummeln und nette Restaurants zu Fuss schnell zu erreichen.

Från första stund fick jag en utmärkt service av hotellets personal. Royal Palm är nyligen renoverat och det märks. Hotellet är har ett utmärkt läge med några minuters avstånd från Ocean Dr samt Lincoln road.

Läget och servicen är utmärkt. Tyckte dock att frukosten (buffén) var alldeles för liten för det pris man tar ut, menyn för lunch var inte så kul. Utmärkt strandservice dit man gärna går då poolen var full av små barn som lekte. Rummen var rätt små för att vara femstjärnigt hotell. Servicen var dock utmärkt. Det var en hel del problem vid utcheckningen då jag fick en räkning på hotellrummet som redan var förbetald, felaktiga valet parking och en del andra felaktiga poster. Kolla räkningen när ni checkar ut !

Hotel excelente, porém a piscina é pequena, cobram US$ 19,00 como Retreat fee por dia - só fui informado sobre esta taxa no check-out, alegam que esta taxa é para a manutenção da piscina - que absurdo cobrarem esta taxa com o preço da diária que cobram.

I think that this hotel will be very good in the near future. When we stayed it was so new so everything wasn't ready and the staff in the restaurant didn't really know how to work in the best way and the wait was really long. But the staff in general was really friendly and helpful.

Hotellet var nyrenoverat och hade mycket bra standard. Läget nära Ocean Drive var perfekt. Personalen på hotellet var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Atmosfären kändes familjär.

O hotel é muito bem localizado. Como o hotel é novo, o serviço ainda está se parimorando, mas os funcionários são bem simpáticos e esforçados para atender os hospedes da melhor maneira. Tivemos alguns probleminhas com relação à agua quente, às vezes não tinhamos. outro questão é em relação as fotos dos quartos no proprio site do hotel, pois quando reservamos a foto do quarto em referencia tinha uma mesa com cadeira e qdo chegamos no quarto reservado ele não tinha nada disso e era bem pequeno. Além disso, no descritivo dizia que todos os quartos tinham vista parcial para o oceano, inclusive a foto tambem mostrava o oceano e no noso caso não tinhamos nada disso. talvez seja melhor o site hoteis.com se atentar melhor nesses detalhes.

Det här hotellet var precis vad vi hade hoppats på och lite till. Bra läge, väldigt hög standard på både rum och service. Väldigt lyxigt eget strandområde (tillkommer dock en slant på räkningen för utnyttjande) Skulle definitivt kunna bo här igen.

O hotel é bacana, parece recém-reformado e o atendimento é ótimo. Está a uma quadra do final da Ocean Drive. O serviço de praia é impecável: espreguiçadeiras acolchoadas, forradas, com um grande guarda-sol e funcionários atenciosos. No entanto, o hotel cobrou uma taxa diária para uso do Wi fi, academia e serviço de piscina/praia. O quarto, apesar de pequeno, é confortável. O café da manhã é a la carte.

Precis nyrenoverat hotell som öppnat för en vecka sedan. Diskret byggnadsarbete pågick fortfarande men störde inte alls. Mycket trevlig personal och utomordentlig service. Läget är perfekt! När Lincoln Road men inget störande nattliv från gatan. Dock lite lyhört från rummet bredvid. Hotellets egna strand var underbar! De hade en förstklassig service med mjuka solstolar, parasoll och strandkorg med frukt och vatten. Bor väldigt gärna här igen och rekommenderar det varmt.
