Cleanliness is certainly not a priority as we found hairs in the shower and some insects. Overall room was decent size but not very well maintained. Location was good and the staff was friendly.

We liked the location close to Ocean Dr. The rooms were comfortable with wooden floors and good AC. There was not a lot of maintenance made in the last couple years. Old carpet in the hallway, paint chipping off, old dirty cushions at the outdoor launch. The floor and the bathroom in the first room were not really clean. When my friends checked in for the second room, the room was not ready and they had to flex to an other room. But hotel crew did a nice job giving us 50% on that second room. We got refunded by hotels.com. Thanks.

If your going to south beach to party and hang out this hotel is in the best location. In less the 5 minutes of walking you'll be in the heart of ocean drive. Seconds away from the mall. The hotel wasn't the greatest but it service the purpose for party animals. I will book at this hotel again on my next trip

Helpful receptionists. Great location. Valet Parking only: Two nights $60.00! As there is no breakfast at the hotel, the "Aroma Espresso Café:" on Collins Ave just East of 5th St was a great recommendation.

only thing really good was the location stairwells are narrow and institutional staff not very helpful didnt have beach towels had to use our damp bath towels

It was 2 blocks from the beach, and close to quite a few restaurants and cafes - what more can you ask for? The staff was always super friendly, and the room was chic with free wifi. Next time I come to South Beach, I won't have to worry about finding a hotel - this is an easy choice.

The room was very basic...older hardwood floors, some marks on the wall and side chair. However, the room was clean and the memory-foam mattress was very comfortable. Bathroom was fairly new. Room was quiet. Location was perfect...right by South Beach.

Very friendly staff. Modern decor and great artwork on the walls. A bit of a hike to Lincoln Road, but it is pretty quiet at night time.

The staff is wonderful. From Miguel, to Ray to the overnight manager they were all very attentive and kind. I was there for the Nautica Triathlon.

The location and price of the hotel was great! However, this is an older hotel and there was no elevator. The outside stairway was very narrow so getting the luggage up the steps was a chore, did not check the inside stairway. My wife and I are relatively small people and the toilet was small for us. Other than that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We felt it was a great boutique hotel just a few blocks from the beach. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. For the price, it could not be beat. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. We will stay there again for sure.

Honestly, no big complaints. The location is great, walking distance from all the action. My only problems was my room key having to be programmed everyday, there was no carpets and the floor was dusty. But it's a great place for people on like spring break, young crowd looking to just have fun.

Great hotel for the price. Beds are kind of hard but cool location and very cool layout. Wasn't in the room much but why would you be if your in south beach. Walking distance to the prime part of ocean drive. Quiet area great for relaxing after a day of activities. Friendliest staff I have ever experienced.

A pretty inner courtyard and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff plus a perfect location offset rooms which are dated and need sprucing up. A free continental breakfast and in room refrigerators would help mitigate the in room experience. All in all I would stay here again when I return to SOBE.

This place is right in the heart of South Beach. That being said the room had a nice art deco design, but the flooring was coming up in pieces and the AC unit wasn't in great condition. It will do for a place to sleep, but I won't go out of my way to stay here again.

I loved my two night stay here with my boyfriend. Even though we arrived early, they checked to see if there was a room ready for us to go in. Had there not been a room, I still appreciate the effort (there was a room btw). While there aren't any elevators, there are only two floors. The rooms are better than they show on the pictures. The a/c takes less than a minute to cool the room. The breakfast was reasonably priced. The location couldn't have been better for the rate. We were able to take the 150 bus from the airport, thus saving a lot of money by not renting a car. The beach is a short walk away. Restaurants are closer (we had dinner at Bolivar which was awesome!) Overall, a very lovely experience.

A small south beach hotel in a great location. If we were staying longer than one night then this would not have been my ideal spot, but for our one night it was fine. The hotel in general is small and is not the type to have all of the little extras. The AC in our room didn't work but luckily it wasn't hot enough for it to bother us too much. The rooms and hallways have tiled floors which make it very loud in the mornings. The maids and front desk staff were so obnoxiously loud and woke us up by 8 am. The only plus is the location - a ton of great restaurants are right near by!

We had a sparse room but comfortable bed 2 blocks from the beach. The room and bathroom was clean and worth the price. The staff was helpful with restaurant suggestions and coordinating a taxi back to the airport. We would probably stay there again.

Beautiful rooms in this kind of fancy artistic hotel where the art and the painting is probably more relevant then customer service. Really bad welcome when I got there, not check in available until 3pm even though the room was ready for us and thanks to the hotel director we could get in and repair from they pouring raining outside. Not so clean - especially shower area, not friendly at all at the front desk and way way way too expensive!

Loved it! Hotel is older but has lots of character and very comfortable. I look forward to staying there again!

although its not the most updated room, it was clean and in walking distance to the beach and main strip and also close to dodge island if your cruising. even though our original room had problems with the airconditioner they were quick to try and fix it and when it wasnt possible that same day they offered to move us to a better room. Also the front reception was very profesional and accomodationg. I was very impressed with the service.

Hotel was good overall and clean. Did not like the fact that in at least 3 occasions I called Front desk and nobody answered at least for 10-15 min each time. Also for a hotel that charges $106 a night I thought the rate of $30 for valet daily was extremely high even though at the end I realized they didn't have much control on that matter due to their location and how expensive meters and municipals were around the area. I loved loved loved the little garden area . Beautiful space and very relaxing .

It was an overall very pleasant stay.

I live in Miami, and i know how much a hotel typically cost in my city. For the price/location/and service i received i should have paid double. The gentlemen at the counter when i checked was such a breathe of fresh air considering how hectic my arrival was due to justin beiber traffic in the area, the attendant made it pleasant and smooth. Valet is provided, or they have a several options for nearby self parks, by a SUPER friendly parking attendant. The hotel itself is old there is no denying that, however remodels are underway. i was lucky enough to get a remodeled room because our room was perfect, very spacious and modern. Not only would i recommend this hotel to friends, i invited them over to check it out before we went to our destination and they ALL left impressed. I wish i would have arrived there earlier to enjoy the room more. The BEAUTIFUL lobby was an AMAZING gathering spot for my group before we left.

This hotel was fine, but in need of some TLC. It has the potential to be a very cute boutique hotel but lacks warmth. The bed was not very comfortable, the furnishings were sparse, the walls were all marked up from other peoples' luggage, etc. That being said, it's within walking distance of everything you want and is fairly priced. All in all, I find myself right in the middle - not overly impressed or disappointed.

great alternative to busy and noisy south beach drive hotels yet within just a few minutes walk to everything around, amazing location and reasonable price! Just don't expect it to be Hilton like, it's very nice and clean, much better than other hotels in the area. I'd stay there again

Have to pay $30 additional to park your vehicle

We arrived early because of our flight times and were able to leave our bags at the hotel until a room was ready, which was appreciated. When we returned, there was some confusion over what room was available and we were sent up to a second floor room; there is no elevator and we weren't offered any assistance with our bags. We're in our late fifties, not athletes and hustling two heavy bags up narrow outdoor stairways was tough. We had reserved a king bed room, but ended up with 2 queens. The room was adequate, clean, the bed comfortable. We were given a bit of grace time on checkout and overall, it was satisfactory. We liked the location and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. No pool, no amenities, but you get what you pay for.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a good stay and the neighbourhood is a bit more quite at night than Ocean Drive at the beach where we stayed before Harrison hotel. We found that it was good value for money and close to the beach and stores.

Its very close to everything. Rooms are ok. Only complaint was the tv having no sound. We called front desk about it and were told that they had no maintenance person at that time (7pm) to fiw it. Besides that its good for sleeping.

it actually was a fine hotel. good area, walk to beach, eat and shopping! but my tv had no sound and the woman at the desk was friendly but said no one was there to fix it, maintance went home. all in all it was fine

Clean room, easy check out, great location. Can't beat it on a budget!

This was a horrible experience. The clerk who helped us checking in was rude and disrespectful and should not be employed there. Also one of the entirior walls in our room was covered with mold from water damage. Stay away, not worth the $$$.

Was a little mixup in the number and size of rooms we needed but the hotel was more than accommodating and gracious. Very nice and personable staff. The room was as clean as any hotel room I've stayed in. The older hotels on Miami Beach can sometimes feel a little dirty but not this one. The air conditioning blew cold and the shower was warm. A very nice, affordable hotel close to the beaches and nightlife of South Beach. Would definitely stay there again. If only they had a pool!

less than i expected nothing interesting or fancy about the room, deluxe king felt like a motel room, not impressed at all.

I had a last minute business trip come up, and selected this hotel based on price (there was a last minute discount) and it was located within 15 minutes of my meeting location. It is a very old, no frills place, as many of the places in So Beach. It was clean, but as mentioned very no frills. No bellboy no actual valet parking on site (it is actually around back and you have to drive the car there yourself and walk back around to the hotel entry). Very quiet during the day, but a NIGHTMARE at night. I stayed on a Sunday night and from about 10 p.m. though 5 a.m. the noise by other guests was unbearable. Doors slamming, voices heard through the thin walls, guests banging on each others' doors. I got very little sleep. I was very disappointed and would not stay there again. Also, bear in mind that parking was $30 per 24 hour period. Parking in So Beach, in general, is highway robbery, so be sure to factor parking costs into your budget. By the way - drink prices are insanely high in So Beach, too. My last trip to So Beach was over 15 years ago, and I found the area to be much less to my liking this time around.

I was only in South Beach for two nights and Harrison Hotel was perfect! It was extremely clean and comfortable. It was so close to the beach, the bars, shopping- and yet not TOO close. The only drawback is the cost of parking, but you will get that anywhere in South Beach.
