Beausejour Hôtel Appartements - Dorval

It's a very practical hotel. Very comfortable. Staff is nice. Only thing that Chris forgot to tell me is that there is a $30. fee to bring a pet.

The apartment I stayed in was very spacious. I had the most comfortable king size bed, a huge living room and large kitchen. If you are staying overnight because it is near the airport you certainly do not need any of this, but the staff was very nice and there is a 24 hr curteousy shuttle to and from the airport. If I were staying with a family and visiting the area with a car, you are about 25 mins. from Centreville and you will have a nice big apartment to go home to at night if that is what you are looking for.

Fine. No problem, excellent service. Nice folks.

Just a ffew blocks from the airport. When first arriving one has to call from the lobby for admission, even in daytime After that one needs one's room key to enter building at all times. These are converted apartments not originally designed for short tem stays. Walkup, no elevator. Apt. smelled of disinfectant.

Disappointed that we were not able to control the room temperature! We had to open the window to sleep because the room was too hot. A window air-conditioning unit was sitting on the floor in the closet, but was not functioning.

Everything was ok except we booked a smoking room and received a non smoking room. Office was closed at check in so we were stuck with that.

We arrived in pouring rain & was greeted outside by a man who helped & checked us in no problems.Then had to carry our suitcases up a flight of stairs as no lift,so if using this place as a stop over for airport,be pepared for this we were lucky as only had one flight of stairs,but there are 3 to the top floor.Also I used my sat nav to find place,but could see how some people had problems as this is not a hotel as such,at a guess by the people i met going in and out i would say it was also some sort of hostle for non-Canadians,homeless families etc but never asked just guessing by people i saw.Someone whilst we was there had a dog,who's barking was echoing around the place,but so did every door shutting etc.In fact the whole place was noisy,not helped by being woke up before 7am by builders starting work in the room above mine,not what i need on holiday after all the noise of people coming and going all night! On a plus side there was a wal-mart within walkng distance,it was a short drive into city of Montreal,less than 5mins drive to airport,also the breakfast was very aceptable. The room its self was clean but old,with a new flatscreen tv on wall,the bed was hard(tho found this throughout Canada).There was a small kitchen with cooker,fridge and microwave(had to play with buttons and hold the door button to make it work tho). On a whole I wouldn't say this was value for money,i would expect better and got a whole lot better for less money on my trip to Canada.

We were coming up to Montreal for the weekend and needed a place to stay. Since we had a car we picked a place that was a little outside the city since it tended to be cheaper. This hotel was great, very spacious rooms and friendly staff. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast too.

If you are they type that likes grungy motels then this is the place for you! I thought the price was right and the description sounded good. Not the case! This place is a sketchy apartment complex that's been turned into a hotel. The neighborhood looks like the ghetto. The parking is not ample, it's not even paved. The entire room smelled like urine and looked like a time-capsule from the early 80's. I guess they only clean them once a week. They had no maps of the area and were no help with public transportation. Generally the whole place just had a sketchy "horror movie" vibe. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The Beausejour is exactly what the name implies, it is an appartment building that rents out rooms. There is no name out front so make sure you note the address. The unit was a good size with a full kitchen with plates, pots and pans, etc. There was a coffee pot but no coffee or filters, There is however a breakfast with a few things to choose from includiing coffee, juice, cereal and toast. The room was clean and there were extra towels, which was good because there is no daily maid service. If you want a cheap room near the airport (directly under the flight path) this place will do. If you are looking for anything the least bit fancy, stay away.

I had a bad night and bad circumstances leading up to my checking into this hotel. This was the saving grace of my trip. the rooms are spacious, clean.. and much more than i expected. i will definatly stay here again. the price was fantastic! thank you

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations, especially for the very reasonable price we paid for it. The woman in charge was an absolute sweetheart, and went completely above and beyond to help us out. She remembered me personally from a previous phone conversation, let us keep our bags in her office since we arrived early, gave us keys in advance so we would have them when we came back that night, moved our things to our room for us, and offered us free breakfast the first morning we hadn't even paid for. Our room was everything we needed, and they even upgraded us from a studio to a one room apartment! This means that without any additional cost, we got a full kitchen, and living room with a pull out couch and cable tv, and a balcony, on top of our bedroom (king size bed!) and bathroom. Everything was clean, breakfast was yummy, we had free wi-fi, and the building was a very short walk to the bus stop. The ONLY complaint I have is that the night watchman was a little cranky, and insisted on checking our ID constantly instead of reactivating our key cards (the power had gone out earlier, but ours were never fixed). Either way, we got what we needed, it was just a little convenient to go through that at one in the morning. But, the positives definitely outweigh the minor inconvenience, and we'd probably go out of our way to stay there again! Great for families, and fun for us young couples too!

it was a good time all around

The staff were eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Greatly appreciated all the sites they encouraged me to visit during my short stay.

The room was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. But, the hotel is not very easy to find if you don't have GPS. There is no reception. There are no elevators. So, if you have heavy bags and your room is on the third floor, like ours, be prepared for some heavy lifting. There was no AC in the living room. We called and requested a fan. The person, despite assuring us, never showed up. Finding the gym was a challenge and the equipment was cramped in a very small room. The floor was cracked in the gym and the drain was open. The hotel shares its parking with a resto-bar. It was tough to find parking on a Saturday night. The breakfast was much better than the condition of the hotel. The hotel is also located close to a grocery store and an alcohol store. So, you can easily cook and drink to your fill. In short, the hotel is good if you are going to just spend the night and have breakfast and leave. Its also well priced and you can save some money by cooking in the clean and well equipped kitchen.

Wide and clean room, friendly stuff, free shuttle and free breakfast. Nice choice for family, especially.

Close to airport, shopping, bus to downtown. Free breakfast, nice staff. A bit old (70s decor) but clearn.

Chose this because of the kitchenette and price. Nice neighborhood, all basics supplied in room (except dish soap and dish towels). Hadn't clued in that being near the airport would mean planes flying over... This was not a problem for me, but my partner woke up with every flight. I personally would stay there again.

We were picked up at the airport within 10 minutes of calling. After a short ride we were ushered into a clean, uncluttered tiled lobby. Our room was on the lower floor (basement) but had good sized windows with not very thick curtains. It was clean and well furnished with a complete kitchen. The breakfast was simple but good. It was good value for the money.

Since I was booked on a later flight to Montreal after missing the earlier one, I booked and got a very good rate at Hotel Dorval for a one night stay so my relatives in Montreal would not have to come during the wee hours to pick me up at the airport. The shuttle arrived quite soon after I called, and the man who picked me up was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. It is an especially good place if you want to cook your own meals as there is a small kitchen with every instrument you need to make your meals. The fitness center in the basement was disappointing. Three very old pieces of equipment and the elliptical machine did not work. I had a room that faced the street and it was not possible to block out the street light if I did not want to cover the air conditioner (warm night). Still in the same circumstances I would stay there again, especially if I could get a lower room rate.

This hotel was wonderful. Great location, about a 20 minute drive to downtown Montreal. The staff was very friendly and helpful, esp. Mira. She answered all our questions and gave good advice on where to go and what to do. She made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was good; the standard breakfast with muffins, toast, coffee, juice, cereal, etc. Nice, clean room, which is very important to us. We only stayed one night, but would've stayed longer if we had time. Will definitely stay there again if we come back to Montreal. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Beausejour Apartments. It was clean, spacious, freshly painted and redone! A great value with a very nice continental breakfast!

un hôtel pratique, proche de l'aéroport, avec cuisine équipée. Idéal pour une famille.

Hôtel assez isolé mais proche de l'aéroport comme nous le souhaitions, nuit plutôt bruyante, chambre plutôt vieillotte mais convenable, petit déjeuner compris pas extraordinaire mais très satisfaisant pour attaquer la journée le ventre plein.

Appartement vétuste mais propre et très spacieux.

Un très bon endroit pour se reposer avant ou après un vol. L'endroit est plutôt résidentiel donc très calme. Le personnel est accueillant et le taxi de et pour l'aéroport est vraiment très pratique (10 à 12 minutes de trajet)

Avis aux professionnels : Connexion internet basse vitesse ! Mais quand même mieux qu'un séjour à l'hôtel pendant 4 jours avec deux enfants...

It was a one night only for us, but the people were very friendly, the hotel is within easy distance to YUL airport, and complete with complimentary shuttle service to the airport. We took a small apartment and it was very efficient and practical - perfect for European travelers. If I would need to be in this area again I would for sure stay there. The area is very beautiful, there is a beach nearby and if you walk to the town, there is a very lovely tavern with very friendly people. Hint - try to speak French - they will appreciate! LOL. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather - but the friendly staff lent us umbrellas. A truly lovely stay - especially for weary travellers! We very much appreciated their hospitality.

Surpris par le type d'établissement: ancienne maison appartements transfomée en hôtel. Il n'est pas possible d'avoir autant pour si peu, d'après moi. De plus, petit déjeûner consistant et choix varié.Seul point négatif: il devrait y avoir de la vaisselle et des ustensiles normaux plutôt que du styromousse et des ustensiles en plastique. Ces derniers ne sont pas un bon choix du point de vue environnemental.

Quand je suis arrivé à l'hotel il n'y avais pas de studio disponible (ce que j'avais réservé). Avant même avoir pû y penser on m'a offert un appartement 1 chambre beaucoup plus confortable pour le même prix! - Excellent service.

Hotel un peu vétuste Surtout au niveau de la salle de bain mais vraiment confortable. Accueil très agréable malgres le système d'accueil qui nous "oblige" à téléphoner à la personne de garde à l'entrée de l'hôtel
