simple , clean and perfect location

Great location, right on the Sol plaza, where there's a metro stop. Efficient room and bathroom, with everything you need. We spent our days and nights walking around the city and this was an easy location to get back to - great value.

It was a five star hostel. I have stayed at other hostels while traveling and this one was great, exactly what you would expect (in a good way). Daily: fresh towels, shampoo, soap, plenty of hot water before noon, our guess was most people slept in :), the bed was made and breakfast (toast, ham, cheese, jam, butter, cereal, graham crackers, milk, OJ, water, Spanish coffee). The heater definitely works. We opted for an interior room, but since we spent most of our time out it didn't bother us. We still had windows with a traditional view of Madrid buildings, I studied abroad here and it was a view I was use to, clothes hanging from other floors :) The location was great, we took the metro from the airport and as we exited Sol (c Alcala) we saw our hostel. It was my husbands first time in Madrid (Europe for that matter) and his first hostel stay and he was very pleased. He had plenty of doubt before arriving. Puerta del Sol is busy day and night, well patrolled, we always felt secure at whatever time we arrived to our hostel. Needless to say, we'd stay here again and we recommend it to anyone traveling to Madrid.

welcomeming and helpful. Location was great, Service adecuate. The Wi Fi was poor and less than adecuate. Other than the internet poor access. My stay was good.

The location of the hotel is very convenient in downtown Madrid; it is possible to arrive via subway directly from the airport. In general, the service were OK (do not expect luxurious ones) but we had everything we needed, even breakfast!!!! I would consider it once more if needed. I can say, fair price for all of the offered services.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean if basic. But if you want 5 star luxury in the city centre expect to pay a lot more. I will definately visit Madrid again and would be more than happy to stay at the Puerta Del Sol Rooms again.

I thought the hostal was great. So central, right by Sol metro station and easy walking to all the major sights. I stayed for 6 nights.The room was small and had all that i needed . It even had a door onto a balcony over looking the square. The double-glazing ensured no noise from the square. I shared a bathroom and toilet very near the room. The breakfast was uninteresting,but there was plenty of it and energetically stocked up and services right up till 11am!.Other guest all ages and nationalities. I found the staff friendly and helpfull and would certainly recommend it and stay there again when I next visit Madrid as I certainly will because Madrid is FABULOUS.

This establishment is meant for anyone who has no concern about comfort. The advertised private bathroom was built in the room as an after thought. The shower curtain is held up by pvc pipe and rope. Shower head broken. The slivers of soap provided were good for one hand washing. Toilet did not flush properly. No Closet. The breakfast was not worth eating. Anything I asked for, including calling a taxi, was not possible. It is well located close to the Plaza Major, but that is all. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This hostel is situated right in the middle of Madrid in Puerta del Sol. We didnt have to take public transit, everything was within walking distance.Plaza Mayor was 5 minutes by walking. The guy at the reception is extremely nice and helpful. The room was very clean, fresh towels, shampoo/shower gel provided every day. Our room had a well lit up sink, and shared bathroom on the floor. Quiet, comfortable and safe hotel. Would definitely recommend if you are on the budget but looking for a safe and clean stay.

Don't let the weird photos throw you off. This place is great. My first time in Madrid, first time in Europe for that matter. The staff were helpful and friendly. Free breakfast. Wifi only comes in at certain areas. Clean made up room every time we came back. Worth it!

Good! First time doing hostel, and it was just fine..To be kept in mind is that Madrid isn't populat destinations in Spain ( lots of beggars, prostitution, and petty crime with no landscape), so the hotels are cheap as well.

Great location, central to all facilities and metro. Maid cleaned room, fresh sheets, towels and toiletries every morning. Staff were friendly and for a hostel I rate this as a really good value place to stay.

Muito bom lugar, extremamente simpaticos, cama boa, localização excelente, pessoas agradaveis, só tive um pequeno problema com a Internet durante a minha estadia, porém não foi culpa deles. Recomendo muito ficar nesse hostel, pois alem de ser confrotavel eles limpam seu quarto todos os dias e renovam as suas toalhas tb.

Keskinkertainen tai kehnohko hotelli mutta erittäin keskeisellä paikalla. Pienet ahtaat huoneet, kohtuullisen siistit. Huono ja ahdas parivuode. Ahdas vessa, heikko valaistus. Aamiainen oli, mutta aika kehno.

Chambres agréables mais la literie serait à renouveler : on sent les ressorts.Bon rapport qualité prix, le petit déjeuner est convenable.

La ubicacion es perfecta par quienes vamos de turismo estas cerca de todo y el metro al salir del hotel, hay un poco de ruido por las noches por estar justo en la plaza del sol, pero la verdad muy bueno para el turista y comodo

Til prisen absolut tiltrækkende. Pænt hotel og rigtig rent og indbydende. Måske lidt små værelser og badeværelser, men ikke noget problem. Hotellet ligger fantastisk centralt.

Min vistelse på Puerta Del Sol Rooms var bra enligt mig sett till priset som jag betalade för 6 nätter. Läget är utmärkt då du kan ta dig till de mest relevanta sakerna i madrid via fot eller tunnelbana. Personalen var trevlig och standarden på rummet var helt okej sätt till priset. Frukosten var sådär men ändå helt ätbar. Kan efter min vistelse säga att jag helt klart rekomenderar det här vandrarhemmet och skulle jag nångång åka tillbaka till Madrid så skulle jag gärna bo här igen.

Jeg havde booket dobbelt værelse med separate senge samt privat badeværelse. Vi fik første et værelse med det jeg ville kalde en enkelt seng til to personer samt adgang til fællesbadeværelse sammen med adskillige andre. Efter vi beklagede os fik vi den undskyldning at der ikke findes større senge i Spanien, vrøvl. Jeg mener simpelthen vi burde have mindst 50% af vores penge tilbage så dårlig var hotellet. Morgenmaden som i på jeres webside have kaldt Continental break fast. Hvis tørt toast brød, skinke og smagløs ost er Continental break fast - så må der være noget jeg har misforstået.

I was there for a week in April, and I really enjoyed it. It's located very central and it's good value for money. Very friendly staff.

L'hotel è economico è molto comodo a tutti i servizi ma essendo la struttura piuttosto vecchia e malandata si sentivano di notte parecchi rumori tipo i passi delle persone che andavano nel bagno esterno (posizionato proprio vicino alla nostra camera !), la donna delle pulizie che puliva il bagno di notte, sciaquoni del water in continuazione , porte che sbattevano, risa e chiacchere in corridoio in piena notte. Nella nostra camera c'era il tubo del riscaldamento che emetteva di continuo inquietanti scricchiolii... Non parliamo dei materassi e guanciali , sembrava di dormire per terra! Premetto che non sono una persona che pretende chissà cosa, pratico campeggio da molti anni e mi so adattare a parecchie scomodità ma a questi livelli è stata veramente dura !!! Pulizia buona delle camere un pò meno nella sala pranzo dove le tovaglie erano sporche. Comunque il personale era molto gentile, A disposizione dei clienti 24 ore su 24 una piccola colazione molto piacevole.

Bom preço, ótima localização, bem arrumado e limpo. Funcionários atenciosos. Recomendo.

mi primera impresion fue un hotel de mala muerte, la estructura es muy fea pero por el precio uno no puede exigir mucho, tienen la mejor disposicion, ubicacion y precio, la cama algo incomoda pero la pasamos muy bien, para la proxima preferiria pagar un poco mas y estar en un mejor hotel.

O quarto é organizado todos os dias. Há troca de toalhas diariamente e de roupas de cama a cada 3. Só senti falta de poder ter uma cozinha liberada para os hópedes, uma necessidade para quem quer viajar barato e gastar pouco.

nous sommes très satisfait de cet hotel: le prix e la chambre n'est pas trop élevé par rapport à son emplacement idéal pour visiter Madrid: On peut tout faire à pied et, si besoin, la station de métro Sol est au permet de se rendre un peu partout. Le lit était très confortable et la fenêtre bien insonorisée. Nous n'avons pas souffert du bruit alors qu'on donnait sur la place. pas de bruit non plus dans l'hôtel.Un seul bémol: le petit déjeuner: On aurait préféré du beurre à la margarine et quelques biscottes ou pain "normal" en plus du pain de mie....Mais c’était à volonté donc très bon rapport qualité/prix par rapport aux autres hôtels comparés avant de partir.

Very close to Metro Sol, and the room is clean. I usually went back late without any problem. Totally safe. Actually everything is good on average. The only thing I don't like is no independent bathroom for my room and made me a little bit inconvenient for sharing bathroom.

Честно, не ожидал, что хостел за 2000 рублей за 2 ночи может быть так хорош. Расположение - лучше и представить невозможно, САМАЯ центральная площадь города, прямо на ней! За эти деньги еще и завтрак, и номер убирают! Просто шикарно.

Bien, la cama debía de mejorarse

Super hôtel l' accueil et la propreté sont au rendez vous. La connexion internet est bonne. Juste peut être le petit déjeuner pas terrible du tout. Mais sinon rien a redire c'était génial surtout pour le prix.

Perfecto para lo que lo queria. Centrico, en plena puerta del Sol y a poca distancia de Gran Via, y de la zona de compras de Fuencarral. Bien comunicado con el metro en la misma puerta. Amabilidad en el trato. Muy limpio y con buena calefaccion (esto es importante si se va en invierno).

El hotel, y el personal, incluido sus duenios fueron EXCELENTES en todo momento, definitivamente no solo lo recomiendo, sino que volveré con toda certeza!

O hotel é simples (albergue). Porém limpo e fica na puerta del sol, o centrão de Madri. Recomendo muito. Até minha mãe, que nunca tinha ficado em um albergue gostou muito. Nosso quarto tinha banheiro, porém os coletivos tb eram muito bons e só entrava uma pessoa por vez neles. Vale muito a pena!

Me he sentido muy bien, en un espacio de confianza y cordialidad.La atención ha sido encantadora.

magnifiquement placé, personnel attentif, propreté des chambres très bien.Et surtout un rapport qualité/prix sans concurrence..
