Tune Hotel - Westminster, London - לונדון

Hotel room only big enough for 1 guest. No place for suitcase or toiletries in bathroom. Shower floor flooded. Since no phone in room had to go to front desk tp request it be fixed. No response. Had to request extra towels since entire bathroom area was flooded. Before we could it extra towels the ones on floor soured coffee shop next door. Good Italian restaurant across street and tube station across the street

Sadan went above and beyond to help us. Rooms were tiny but comfortable, mostly clean ( maid dropped off clean towels but didn't take away dirty ones or garbage or clean the bathroom. Not sure if that's standard. Close to the underground so very easy to get anywhere and very close to Big Ben!

Room is very small, but we knew that in advance and hardly spent any time in our room. Clean room,bathroom, hotel, helpful staff. As part of of our booking, we did not had to pay for wi-fi and any other extras- be sure to look into that, could have to pay for things like hairdryer maybe even TV? Tube station is right across the street. Easy walk to the Southbank area which was very nice. Lots to do and see in Southbank, including the London Eye, street performers, restaurants, great views of Big Ben across the Thames. Good location, good price. Would stay there again.

Smallest room ever in over 40 years of travel. Not even a drinking glass in the room.

No more, no less. Expect to pay extra for most everything.

The room was much smaller than we expected. The staff were very helpful in moving us to a "larger" room. The first room was spotless.. very clean. The second room was less clean, but slightly larger. Great location near all the sights.

Apart from the location which was ideal for us the hotel itself was poor, we have stayed in lots of hotels in the centre and paid less and got a lot better room and breakfast and didnt have to pay for every single extra even holding our bags as we were early cost £2.00!! The room itself was tiny not enough room for two people to stand up I had to climb over husband to get out of bad and even then there was another wall I had to manoavre around. The shower was tiny but functional and we had no towels in the room so husband was in the shower and realized had no towels had to call our friends to go and get some from reception which cost more money!! All in all wont stay again :(

Rooms are very small but cater for what you need. Not much room to move around but as long as your not planning to spend all your time in the hotel perfectly liveable for the duration of your stay. It's close to Westminster but not in Westminster, was a 5 minute walk from Waterloo, if u don't have to don't worry about the tube to Lambeth north- walk it was quicker! Overall pleasant stay, for the price no qualms!

Overall good. Floor was not clean, when I wiped up an area with the towel, layers of grime came up. Staff was outstanding: friendly and helpful...seemed to be a team. Room was very small. Location perfect, Lambeth North subway right next door and many good restaurants nearby...interesting neighborhood, felt safe.

Nice rooms but very small. Ok for short stays but not great for business trips as there are no chairs or desks.

Hotel is good enough for a one night stay. Hotel is clean and close to stores and train station. Room is very small though.

Really good. Just a shame about it's location (at a junction of about 5 roads) as there seemed to be an awful lot of police cars whizzing about, which was very noisy so I didn't get much sleep.

The hotel's location is excellent but the pricing that is advertised couldn't be reached-it's advertised from 11Pounds but the nearest we could get was 59pounds.And the rooms are very small.

From the minute we arrived we were made welcome and although rooms are small (they do not hide this before you go) the hotel was spotlessly clean and super modern! It was quiet at night, yet 24hr reception if you need them. It's only across the road from The tube and so central! Around the corner from Westminster! I definitely recommemd this hotel!

All the things I really wanted to see were in a very short walking distance! London Eye, Westminster Abbey and House of Parliament. Started in the handicap room which was spacious, but the shower was very poorly constructed and leaked all over the bathroom floor. Switched to a room about half the size, but as long as it's just two people you will have enough room, just no privacy from the other person in the room with you. Nice view of a few structures in London from our room window!

We got an excellent deal on this hotel room and the location could not have been better. It was less than a 10 minute walk to Big Ben, and it was 1 minute from the metro station! When booking with this hotel though, realize that the rooms are VERY small. My dormroom in college was bigger and had more storage than this small room. The bathroom is tiny as well. The good thing was that there was room under the bed to store the luggage, so we were not tripping over luggage, although sometimes my husband and I were tripping over each other. Compared to the amount of money you would pay for other hotels close to this location, it was excellent. I may consider staying here again if I make my way back to London, however, if I am better off by then, I may pay an extra hundred bucks to stay in a different hotel with more amenities and larger rooms. Very clean and staff was very nice.

great place to stay overnight and very close to the city centre the only one thing I was not happy with was a size of the room - a bit to small for me, but as I said the overall score for the hotel is outstanding

My stay at Tune was great.

The overall experience was quite good. Was not expecting 5 or 4 star comfort or convenience but was pleasantly surprised. Room small but not surprising in London, NYC or Paris. Have actually had smaller rooms.A minor incident was that my prepaid package included TV and hairdryer but neither had been activated and had to make 2 trips to reception to get it sorted out. To be fair I think there was a new employee with limited English who was having difficulties. ther than taht no problems and woould sstay again.

We weren't expecting much, as had already read previous reviews but were still disappointed. No where on the hotel's website were we informed of the major scaffolding that was covering the entire building, so first impressions were not good. After we checked in, we were giving a room on the lower ground floor, with no windows (after originally asking for a higher floor room with a view) The hotel staff did kindly swap us over quickly after I asked. The room itself was minuscule, defiantly not big enough for 2 people. I actually had to wake up 20 minutes before my partner to get changed, as we were both unable to move at the same time. We didn't expect much from a cheap hotel in the center of London, but unfortunately would not return. On a positive note though, the hotel is about 8m from lambeth north station, which made it easily accessible.

Tune was clean and staff was friendly. Though, beware- they don't clean rooms everyday and also charge for EVERYTHING. For example, internet was extra , tv was extra and they charged me to keep my bags behind the counter first day I checked in and was too early , which I think is really bad business. There were no phones in the room and my neighbors were loud. The last night I was there my neighbors decided to move rooms at midnight and spent the next two hours slamming their door. I complained to front desk but nothing was done. Why the hotel allowed them to move at midnight is beyond me. It was convenient and clean. Rooms are VERY small. For price, was exceptional, just passable.The location was fantastic because of it's proximity to the tube. I would look for another place to stay in London next time before booking again. All in all it was ok.

Nice hotel. Scaffolding around the hotel. Room very small. Did not have towels. Lovely staff. I would stay again but not for £110

First, when we got there to check in, it took forever. The lady was so busy giving wrong information (which was corrected by an off duty employee). Then we get to our room. The bed was made but it was NEVER cleaned. Dirty sheets, dirty towels, used bar soap, dirty shower...just gross. So we headed back to the office. She followed us to the room, confirmed it was unclean and then took us to a room on the top floor. Te elevator only goes up to five, so you have to take the stairs. We declined because our bags are heavy and those stairs would be exhausting after a long day of walking. We settled in a different room. The rooms are uncomfortably small. Sheets are hard and you get one pillow each. There are also NO PHONES in the room, so if you need something (like the heat turned off because the controls didn't work) you have to keep going down. Which we did multiple times. Our last day, as my husband and I were getting dressed, an employee opens the door...without knocking!! All in all, nice location being close to the Underground but find somewhere else if you can. Super disappointed and would NEVER stay or recommend this hotel, even if we got a good deal. Customer service was poor and so was this hotel.

hotel is in a great location and fantatsic for a few days however some rooms are even smaller than others - the rooms across from the elevators are tiny (we were in 402) - however the shower is great, the rooms are clean, staff are helpful and theres a good coffee shop next door - dont buy coffee from the vending machine on site as its even smaller that the room!

My stay would have had a rating of 5/5 but in our room the secondary glazing was broken. I would definitely recommend and I would stay there again. The room was compact and bijou, lovely decorated and very clean. Had a TV with many channels and ensuite shower facilities. The bed was really comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Literally 5 mins walk to Waterloo station, and 10 mins to Westminster Bridge.

This hotel does what it says on the tin. it is a few steps away from Lambeth North Tube, and close to London eye etc and neighbourhood is fine. Yes the rooms are small but if you just need somewhere to lay your head that is clean, quiet and warm then this is ok. I was expecting to have to pay extra for towels, tv etc but this was all included in the package I bought ( as indeed it should be as I thought that a bit much anyway!? staff were pleasant enough and attended to any questions/ needs we had. Shower was great and bathroom size addequate for your needs. I would stay here again.

Clean and efficient but lacked amenities which seems a bit mean.

Unfortunalty i would stay here again or reccomend to anyone as the rooms were very very small and there was no where to store cloths ect: the hotel charge for everything from towels to wifi which usually is complementry in hotels. i stayed for 2 nights and the room wasnt cleaned during our stay, ie no clean towels ect, but the cleaners could be hear (as very loud) cleaning neighbouring rooms very early in the morning

If you want a terribly good laugh, then try this hotel as it is ridiculously bad (laughably). To start out with....my college dorm room was twice the size of this hotel room (no exaggeration). Lol...... you cannot sit on the toilet straight as your legs will hit the wall in front of you. There were literally no amenities in the room. They don't provide towels, soap, lotion, nada. By the way, we had to hall our luggage up a narrow flight of stairs because there was no elevator access to the 6th Floor. In this hotel's defense, it has a good location close to many main attractions. Otherwise, this hotel is generally junk with a tiny room and no amenities.

Tune hotel Westminster was suited to what we needed for our weekend. Room was clean and tidy and very well presented. No parking at the hotel but a public car park was 2 minutes walk from hotel and very cheap for central London!

Ideal for One night, small room but great value for money.

The rooms are small, but if all you need is a good bed and a clean shower this is great value for money. Service is friendly. During our stay the staff was very helpful and understanding when an elderly member of our company suffered an accident that required various medical and other arrangements. There are plenty of pubs and small restaurants in the area, including a great little italian family restaurant just across the street, and central London is within easy reach.

Although a little small for a longer stay, we found this brilliant as a base to explore London from. Rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and helpful

tiny rooms but great value for money

It 'did what it said on the tin' .We needed a bed for the night and the bed was very comfortable , reasonably priced , and we would definitely stay in a Tune again .

If all you expect from a hotel is a place to sleep and take a hot shower, you'll really enjoy your stay in one of these small, basic rooms. The hotel is in a great location and costs far less than its fancy neighbors.

We took the tube to Lambeth North (Bakerloo line) where Tunes hotel is located. If you are arriving by tube, do note that there is a flight of stairs to climb when you exit the station. But once you get pass that, the hotel is just right beside the station. Even at night, around 10+, there are people around the area so it did not feel unsafe. Got a room on the basement but was moved up to level 5 later as the TV in the basement room was not working. Much preferred the room on level 5, less dreary and more well-ventilated. The room was very small, but we made it work by keeping our luggage underneath the bed. Tight squeeze when we were packing though; there was no space to move! The bed was very comfortable and it made up for the small space; sheets are clean, no stains. The front desk staff was also rather helpful. For water and other groceries, there is a shop called Costcutters right in front of the hotel. Was only bummed that we had to pay one pound each time we wanted a cup of hot water (only available from the vending machine beside the front desk).

The double room for two people was perhaps too small for one. The hotel currently has no irons available to guests due to some kind of problem, but judging by the size of the room, there will never be enough space for ironing. Overall, the pictures are deceptive!

We were surprised how small the room was, but the bed was very comfortable, the shower sparklingly clean. Everything you need for a one night stay with the bonus of being only a short walk to the Palace of Westminster.

If you just want to sleep and shower, then this is it. Not much else in the room . It is fine for what it is.

Small rooms, but if you came to see London, not to sit in hotel room, then it's perfect. Just to sleep few hours.

No ironing facilities, no breakfast.
