Hotel Astor - פירנצה

We used it for visiting Florence and Tuscany. Reception staff was very helpful about travel to Florence city centre. There are bus stops are close to hotel (20 min bus journey) and taxi charges about 10 Euros to city centre. Parking is free and ample. Hotel is outside ZTL, we drove to it. Breakfast is minimum. Shower is difficult to use. We were given room on the street side which has very fast traffic. So we had two very disturbed nights! Woke up many times in night. Avoid rooms on street side!

BRILLIANT STAY. eXCELLENT STAFF WITH FRIENDLY ADVICE ON THE LOCAL SIGHTS AND BEST/CHEAPEST MEANS TO GET THERE. WILL EVEN BOOK MUSEUM TOURS FOR YOU SO THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO QUEUE. 3* HOTEL WITH 5* SERVICE.

The hotel is not within the walking distance from the sights. Taxi costs about EUR 10-15 but busses run normaly and it takes about 5-10 minutes by bus. The room size was OK but the bathroom was very small and inconvenient. The shower curtain was dirty and it was diffucult not to touch it in the tiny shower. The air conditioner worked properly. The breakfast was poor. The hotel is rather shabby. I was happy to leave it and would never stop there again.

The hotel is not in a great location. It was a ten dollar cab ride from the train station or you could take the bus. The staff was ok. My first room was a closet of a space. The wall was paper thin and I could hear everything my neighbors were doing. My shower drain was all clogged up so they moved me somewhere else. This room was better. Bigger and seemed cleaner. The tv didn't work, neither did the Internet. They knew about it, I guess there was some problem with the server so they said. II would not stay here again .

The hotel staff was very helpful and advised about getting around as well as suggested some more towns to see (San Gimignano). The breakfast was sparse but ok. Note to other european travellers - the electric outlets are small in number and only the small sized pins (4,3mm) can be used, take adapters from thicker (4,8mm) pins to the small ones if you need them - this though is typical to most italian hotel.

Well the hotel is further away from the must see sights than what they claim on their web page. The breakfast is really a waste of time with very little selection and if you arrive anytime after the 1st half of the breakfast period, the selections are reduced even further. The aircon was near on useless and the bathroom was exceptionally small. Main complaint here was that our toilet seat lid would not remain up when using the toilet as it hit the cistern when lifted, hence the lid would rest on your back when using the toilet. Also, the shower cubicle was tiny and the shower curtain had a wonderful knack of clinging to you when you used the shower. WiFi was slow and we had a very weak signal in our room. Positives were that it was relatively cheap, car parking was included as were the weak signal WiFi and light breakfast. Also, there was a coin operated laundry only a 100m down the road, which was a blessing.

No towels but just a piece of materials. Unfriendly staff. Seems they thy to economy on coffee on breakfast. You have to stay in a line to get it.

Stayed for four nights.10 minutes from railway station by bus 22 or 57. The hotel looks a bit run down from the outside and in reception. Our room was o.k. situated at the side of the building, apart from the shower - a combination of shower curtain and ineffective design resulted in a flooded bathroom floor. This we pointed out to the hotel staff. Although we did not intend to watch T.V. during our stay, we would have liked to keep up with world news - the T.V. shared the same electric connection as the fridge and when we eventually switched on, found the only channels available were Italian. Breakfast was fine, consisting of yoghurt, bread, ham, cheese and cakes, together with a variety of freshly made coffee.

Hotel was in nice location. If you have a car you cant go in to ZTL so this hotel might be the best option. There was also a free parking space but it wasnt big. Just for 10 cars. You can walk about 30min to center of town or ride a bus just in front of the hotel. What I didnt like was the noise from roof. The room was near the road and there were car sounds. But it was not that loud. But the sound from the roof made me crazy. I think its the heating sound. I could even here it from the other rooms because it was from the outside of hotel roof. And when I were there, lots of group, probably from school came and the students were annoying. And the last day I found out that my room key was broken so eve I locked it out side it can be just open by giving some powers. They fixed it immediately when I found out, but the fact that it was broken for 2 days bothered me a lot. Next time I would go other hotel.

Hotel Astor is little hard to get there. I arrive at Florence at 08p.m. so there wasn't any buses. So I took taxi to get there from Rifredi train station. It coast 9 EUR. I want to say about shower, which was not that good. There wasn't any water drain hole on the floor, so water came out to room. The Breakfast was 6 out of 10, because there wasn't much menus.

Мы останавливались в отеле Astor с 27.12.2012 по 03.01.2013. Хорошее сочетание цена-качество. Номер и санузел просторные и удобные. Персонал доброжелательный и старательный.Завтраки не разнообразные,но сытные и обильные Отель находится далековато от центра города, но рядом располагается остановка автобуса.

far from the center, but close to a bus stop of a line that goes to the center in 5 min. very friendly and helpful staff. the rooms are quiet and offer a reasonable basic level of comfort.

O que realmente valeu foi o valor pago, mas o cafe da manha e a qualidade do quarto deixaram a desejar!!

L'hôtel est très calme, proche du centre ville (10 mn en bus) et offre un excellent service.

Personale flink, men et absolut opslidt hotel og aircon virker ikke, gardiner ved at falde ned, døre knirker, rigtig kedeligt

Banheiro alaga quando toma banho, adaptaçao de uma varanda muito mal feita simplesmente orrrrivelllll, nao volto mais, escada p chegar no quarto e muito bolor em volta da porta e da janela.

ücretsiz otopark sadece 5-6 araba alıyor. Otopark özelliğini cazip bularak bu otele rezervasyon yaptırmayın. Diğer özellikler ise yeterli

pour faire un passage d'une nuit c'est bon, mais pour y rester pour plusieurs nuits c'est pas forcement le bon plan, l’hôtel a des signes d'usures que l'on ne peu pas manquer, un petit rafraîchissement serait de bon ton ! sinon pour le reste c'est correct, le personnel est sympa, le petit déjeuner correct comme en Italie quoi !!! un peu éloigne du centre historique 35 minutes a pieds.

Hvordan dette hotel har fået 3 stjener er mig en gåde. Der var ikke synderligt rent, vinduet kunne ikke åbnes, masser af pudsede huller i væggen, ophæng til håndklæder i badeværelse var faldet ned og morgenbordet var nærmest tomt da vi ankom kl 8.30.

3 veckor i Italien på olika orter så var denna receptionist den bästa vi var med om. Han hjälpte oss med att komma till bra resturanger, tips om sevärdigheter, shopping, hjälpte oss med karta, parkering och allt som vi frågade om. Hotellet ligger i ett lugnt område med ca 35 minuters gång in till centrum eller 7 minuter med buss som har hållplats nära intill. Florens största och bästa matbutik, Coop, ligger 500meter ifrån och är perfekt till den som tycker om den italienska maten och vin som öl. Stort utbud av allt till bra priser och bra service. Nackdelen med hotellet är att de saknar AC men är perfekt om solen och värmen inte håller sig framme

料金、安いのに、部屋は広く、キレイです。スタッフも親切。特に男性スタッフ。 ただ、フロントなどいつも忙しそう。朝食は、美味しいコーヒーを入れてくれる。他の食事は期待しちゃだめです。駅からは、バス22番、５７番に乗って10分ほど、Bossoni？、Bussoni？という駅でおります。部屋は、ドライヤー、冷蔵庫あり。 前まで、目の前にスーパーがありましたが、なくなりました。近所に、美味しいpizzeriaがあります。確か、senzanomeという名前。ドルチェはいまいちですが、ピサ、パスタは最高です。隣にあるジェラート屋さんも最高です。いい人ですが頑固親父風です。ちゃんとイタリア語で挨拶してください。他、周りに何もないので定休日、確認た方がいいです

Für 4 Tage Florenz im Anschluss an die Toskana war das Hotel ideal. Mit seinen 3 Sternen bot es mehr als wir erwartet hatten (vom äußeren Eindruck nicht abschrecken lassen), innen entspricht alles der Beschreibung. Hier und da etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Die Zimmer sind groß, zur Straße ziemlich laut, besser zur Hofseite buchen. Aber alle kleinen Mängel werden von sehr freundlichem und ausgesprochen hilfsbereitem Personal wettgemacht. Wir hätten unsere Zimmer nach der 1. Nacht tauschen können, keine Frage, keine Bitte war zuviel. Täglicher Zimmerservice und frische Wäsche, das Auto konnten wir auf dem abgeschlossenen Hof abstellen. Mit dem Bus Nr. 22 waren wir in 15 Minuten mitten im Centro von Florenz. Das Frühstück vom Buffet war ausreichend und konnte sowohl drinnen als auch auf einer kleinen Terrasse zum Hof eingenommen werden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Besonderer Dank an Leonardo an der Rezeption, der deutsch und englisch spricht und immer nur wollte, dass wir uns wohlfühlen.
