Tune Hotel - Paddington - לונדון

Enjoyed our stay at this basic services and yet clean and convenient (location-wise) hotel. Easy access to/from Heathrow with direct and fast train service from Paddington station which is an easy 5-minutes walk with luggage. Use of both Paddington and Edgware Rd Tube stations to other parts of London. Would stay at this hotel again if visiting London again.

It is good enough if you're travelling for two without babies.

The location was great - although a bit more of a hike from Paddington Station than we had anticipated. The room size was small but just fine. The room and bathroom were immaculate. My only real concern was that I found the bed was quite uncomfortable (hard) and the pillows were very thin with very little support.

Ideal location if you need to get to LHR via Paddington stn. The only downside was the uncomfortable bed but saying that would stay again

Very good hotel. Very clean and good service. Location was close to oxford street. Good if you want to shop!! Very trustworthy hotel as well, we left behind some personal belongings and hotel held it for us to pick up! overall i would stay here again

The value for the stay was very high. Low rates combined with clean accommodations in a location easily accessible to public transportation. One problem: the rooms do not have a telephone and therefore no wake up service available.

The Tune Hotel in Paddington was fine for an overnight 'crash. However, the room was described as 'Queen Room' when I booked it but we only had a small double bed. Also, we had to pay £1.50 each for a towel which I've never come across before! Should have been mentioned when we booked it really. But the hotel is surprisingly quiet, clean enough and convenient for Paddington so not bad overall.

Room was small bt was clean and had modern finishings. We loved that the bathroom was spotless albeit tiny. If you wished to have housekeeping services; note- it was chargeable! Having booked our room at this website; wifi, towels, toiletries such as shampoo were free. So were the use of the safe in the room. Otherwise, I understand it was chargeable if you book directly with the hotel. The downside was that, as with most hotels in the UK and Europe, there were no kettles in the room to boil water. However, you may purchase a cup of hot water at the lobby along with coffees and teas. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a Tesco express that stayed opened 24hours across the street. M&S, Valerie Pattiserie, several cafe's, fast food outlets were within walking distance. There were also 2 Underground stations in the vicinity. Overall value for money. Better than some budget hotels that we have stayed before.

We stayed here for 5 nights in late March 2013, overall was an OK stay. Pros: Close to Paddington Station Underground, fairly cheap for a modern-ish hotel in London. Very nice and helpful reception staff. Comfy bed. Cons: Everything costs extra (TV, Internet, Towels, safe ect) and they are strict on this. Didn't make up our room until our 5th day, after requesting it. Built on an underground tunnel, so you get the regular shake and noise of the tram until the wee hrs of the morning, especially if you get a room on the lower ground level (like us), maybe request a room on an upper level. Small room (expected for London) but there is nowhere to put your luggage and nowhere to hang any clothes up. Would possibly stay here again if we couldn't get somewhere else cheaper.

The stay at the hotel was great. Close to the center of London. Easy to grab the tube(subway).

Pros: The hotel is very clean and in excellent shape, close to two underground stations, staff is really friendly, very small but comfortable rooms.. Cons: the beds are turned up every 3 days so if this is anoying for you better look somewhere else, personally I have no problem since I only use the room for sleeping and I make the bed every day, for the price this is a great place to stay in London.

My only complaint was there was only one pillow on each bed which was very thin. Also the temperature was set very high but at least the window could be opened.

Very good value for money. Excellent location, perfectly clean, tidy. You get what you pay for.

The hotel was recently refurbished, everything was clean and new. The room was very small, no place for luggage. The underground was noicy going straight under the hotel.

When we stayed, this hotel was overrun with drunken guests. They were shouting in the corridors until 3am and a fight broke out at one stage. Then, in the morning, one of their number was late getting up for a flight, so they started banging on his door and shouting from 6am through to 8am. Net result was no sleep - the rooms are not soundproofed at all. There was also smoking in the corridors, so the place stank. No phones in the rooms, so impossible to complain without having to go out and confront the drunks. To top it all, they wanted £2 per bag to leave them for a couple of hours after check-out. Rooms are tiny (it's a 'pod hotel'), but clean. You seem to have to pay extra for towels too. Pay more and go to one of the nicer places on the same road.

Very pragmatic, and convenient. Ideal for the brief stay - very courteous and helpful staff, very clean and accomodating. Would stay again.

Great value hotel. New since June 2012. Rooms are basic but functional. Room service every 3 day. Central location and easy access to Heathrow. Very helpful staff.

We stayed here in between a theartre visit & a very early start for a coach trip the next day. The reception staff were great & booked us a cab, which was bang on time, to pick up at 4:30 am to get us to the coach collection point. The coffee shop was open to grab a quick drink & snack (unlike the suposedly 24 hour tesco over the road that closed at 11:00 pm). Everything was new, clean and well thought out if a little snug. Booking through hotels.com meant we did not have to pay for TV or towels (which were huge & fluffy) and the complimentary soap was very nice. Its a brilliant dormitory, I wouldn't want to spend a long time in the room. Would defintely stay here again or try others in the chain and recommend it to anyone who needs to stay near paddington. Its only a 10 minute walk to the circle line at Lancaster gate too so good for getting in to central London. (Took us under 30 mins to get to the theatre at Shaftesbury Ave)

Very enjoyable stay. Hotel was spotlessly clean and hotel staff could not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. I would definately recommend this hotel to friends/family.

Very new, comfy hotel. Good reception. Obviously we missed the line stating checking in is from 3 pm onwards.... They will keep your luggage if you pay. Only minus: we were at the 1st floor roadsite which was rather noisy.. But next time we'll be in London (next year probably) we'll consider going back!!

The hotel is conveniently situated for Paddigton station and the Edgeware road tube station. I stayed fro 3 days in Dec 2012. The rooms are clean and confortable. The Hotels.com rate includes everything, but the way the hotel works is the room rates are low and then everything is a chargeable extra, e.g. towels, cleaning, TV, internet. The internet speed is fine, supports Skype with only an occasional hiccup. The beds are comfortable, and the room is simple and easy to keep clean, through as you would expect in London small. I hope this model for hotels in London thrives as its great value and delivers exactly what most busy business travellers need, clean room, good bed, internet and no fuss.

Size of room was very good considering it nis London. Bathroom small--makes you think of a ship's bathroom. Had a problem with outlets not working and no one from maintenance was working. Front desk gave me a key to another room for me to charge up my devices.

Early check-in is 5lbs but worth it. They will also keep your bags for 2lbs each if you want to do a last minute shopping spree or what not. The hotel is clean, the room is clean, and people are nice. The place is very convenient and there is a 24-hour Tesco Express market just across the streets. Many shops and restaurants just down the streets as well. We used the hotel to sleep and shower and it fits the purpose well.

Excellent place and conveniently located. The Paddington Station is less than 5mins and you can get to anywhere from that station. Room is clean and the hotel is surrounded by many places to eat. This is a basic room for you to sleep and shower so you can go all over London to sight see. One advice, take the Heathrow Express from the airport to Paddington. Cost is 19 lbs and you will be there in less than 15mins.

i was staying at this hotel on business - it was close to where I was working but it was a good area generally. It had great places to eat was very close to Paddington and edge ware Road stations. The hotel is quite new and it was all very fresh and clean.The shower is very small but apart from that everything was great. It was very reasonably priced for a central London hotel

If your looking just for a place to sleep while you tour the town, this is it. The hotel is a brand new. But the Rooms are very very small . The location is awesome thou. Its located between Paddington and Edgeware station. Its within 5-10 min of shopping, marble arches (historical sites) and can catch pretty much any bus or train within walking distance from here. There is a grocery store, restaurants, pubs within 2 min. The staff was very helpful and super nice. Use them! They will book you shuttles for the airport ect. Now here is the down fall!!!! It is located by a Hospital, so ambulances do drive by with sirens . Your room may shake a little do to the trains. The hotel only cleans your room every 3rd day. You can have it cleaned or get new towels for a fee. But even with some of the negatives for the price and location this place is the best. SOME ADVICE! Buy the oyster card. It will get you on the trains and city buses for a week. UNLIMITED! It DOES NOT include the city tour bus.

I liked the idea of a very nice hotel with limited service-it was a great value! I don't need my room cleaned and linens changed every day. Every third day was perfect. The location of the hotel was really nice, right in-between Paddington and Edgeware Rd undergrounds and very near Paddington above-groud. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and 2 drug stores and a Tesco express within a couple of blocks. My one complaint was noise heard from the hallway during the night. It also came with a "desk" but be aware, my 13" MacBook pro barely fit on it, hanging over the edge a bit-be prepared to sit on the bed to work :-)

Very pleasant , decor in room was new and all equiptment new. Room was quick and staff were the most pleasant and helpful i have come across in hotels for a long time. Location close to Paddington was great and I will stay here again when I net book a trip to London.

Very clean new hotel convienient for shopping in Oxford Street. Lots of shops opposite to buy an evening meal. Very close to Paddington Station for the Heathrow express. Reception staff very helpful. Hotels .com bookings gave extra's that you don't get if you book through the hotel direct.I would recomment this hotel for any one looking for a convenient hotel for the West End very good transport links.

great hotel, however its not as cheap as it seems, as you cant ask for an extra towel without charge, if you are staying more than one night dont expect your room to be cleaned before 3rd night?!! and if you request you will be charged extra..... and if u need to check out and have an evening flight there is no such thing as free storage , its 3pounds per bag?~!!!!

The room was exactly like web site photos. Clean fresh room. Free wi-fi. Towels, soap & shampoo supplied. Only negative that the hotel could rectify was no tea & coffee making in room. The city noise was VERY load if you opened the window.

If all you want is a clean, comfortable room for the night, then this is an ideal choice. The room was very small, so not suitable for a couple to 'chill out', and watch TV whilst having a drink. But if you don't intend spending much time in your room I would recommend this hotel brand.

I stay in this hotel for 9 nights! It will be a good hotel for a short stay like 1-2 days, but definitely not a choice for a long stay like me. When I check in, I was told that my room is on the first floor. I asked the receptionist immediately for a room change because I want higher level to avoid the tube noise. However, the receptionist told me even on the highest floor, you can still feel or hear the tube running. Ok well, I will see how it goes The rooms were only clean every 3 day! I am ok with that because I just take out my trash and used towel out the door everyday. After the cleaning was done after the third night, I see a towel was hang on the hangers in the toilet and I see hair on it. I was thinking was this the towel I put it outside my room this morning? Then I remember there's some dirt on it and I start to look for it and I found it!! They put a dirty towel on the hangers and pretend it is new! I was so disappointed at their service!

Amazing location, very easy access to both Edgeware tube stations + Paddington, bedroom and bathroom was small but expected in Europe, very clean, helpful staff ... the "pay as you use" concept was unique, certainly helped to keep our cost down .... very convenient with 24 hrs Tesco store across the street if you needed a drink/snack at night ... very safe area

Stayed in a twin room on the 4th floor. Lots of space in the room. Pros: Good wifi internet. Comfy beds. Good price. Great shower. Quick walk to Edgeware Road and Paddington stations. Cons: No phone in room. No chair.

This is a brand new hotel so it was still very clean. The bed however was not very comfortable. A spring mattress with not much fluff. Because we booked with hotels.com the tv safe and towels were included however this is not standard. We had to Pay 2£ per bag to store them after check out. The location was great and the hotel was fine but you get what you pay for with this one.
