Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa - קו יאו יאי

I could have rated the service to be 10 even 5 is the best, people are extremely friendly and helpful there. There is only one thing I'd have to highlight, this resort is NOT in Phuket, it is peacefully quiet. Nothing else to do, but to chill out

Had a great time at this small, secluded resort. The only negative is that getting there is a bit of a pain - make sure to arrange boat transport directly with the hotel after booking. The boat ride itself is actually quite nice, and the privacy at the resort is totally worth the hassle. The villa with a private pool was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for anything more. If the privacy is too much, rent the hotel scooters and explore the island.

Our pool villa was beautiful with an amazing view on the sea.The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Definitely our best hotel in Thailand.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a fabolous time at Santhiya. First impressions - very profesional tranfer from Phuket airport - carrier/van which was clean and had excellent a/c and nice cold bottle of water so the VIP experience started already there. The Private Villa - wow, beautiful location on the side of a cliff to make sure the views are stunning and made sure it was and felt very private and last but not least a beautiful salt water pool with access directly from the bedroom was unreal. For once I have to say that the pictures on a WEB site is what you get when you arrive to Santhiya's Koh Yai Yai Resort - it's amazing. In the resturant and bar which was essentialy the same - the food there was of excellent quality. Very good value for money of both local Thai dishes and western type in a small and good selection but presented VERY nicely and all we tried was high quality in both taste and presentation. The staff's enthusiasm, friendliness and professionalism was always on show and overall everyone there made you feel special - so thank you to James in the bar, May in the restaurant ,Lolita singing and Che playing acustic guitar for us during our "private" beach dinners. Thanks again to Lloyd and his staff at Santhiya for making our "Second Honeymoon" so fantastic - we are ready to do it again very soon.

Zeer mooi gelegen hotel met uitzicht over de zee.Alles in hout en thais ingericht. Alle 19 kamers hebben privé zwembad, andere zijn er voorlopig niet.Wie slecht te been is moet wel oppassen met de trappen naar de kamer. Om er te geraken rijden er 2 tuk tuk's rond van en naar de kamer. Van de werken heb je weinig last. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze begrijpen zoals in het restuarant wel moeilijk Engels, maar de restaurant manager grijpt wel in. Zwemmen in de zee is moeilijk door de stenen die er in liggen. Verder op het strand moet je bij het wandelen wel opletten voor glasscherven van bierflesjes.

Otroligt vackra villor med privata pooler. Enastående mat och service. Passar perfekt för smekmånad eller total avkoppling. Om ni vill ha frukost på rummet så ingår det i priset. Den bästa resort vi någonsin bott på. Även om det är en resort så är det väldigt intimt och privat med äkta thaikänsla. De hade världens godaste Pina Colada.

Overall, I'm very impressed with Sathiya on Koh Yao Yoi, the service are excellent! everyone in the hotel is trying their best to make your holiday perfect and they will go extra miles just to fulfill your wish. The villa we stayed is just breathtaking with great views to the sea and you can also see few small islands in front of you. Villa is very clean and stylish with a thai twist. The best thing is there's no bugs - it is quite impressive considering that it's surrounded by woods. The hotel restaurant serves really good food and perfectly located on the whitesand beach. Only downside of this resort is transport I would say if you want to go Phuket or Krabi, you have to come back before 5pm otherwise no boat. However, it is very convenient to hire a long boat or speed boat to go island hopping in Krabi or to Phi Phi for day trip. So this resort is great if you just want to lay back and relax and do water sports and island hopping instead of vast night life.
