AmericInn Plover-Stevens Point - Plover

Nice enough hotel. The card keys we were issued did not work more than half the time and had to be reissued over & over again. Clean room, adequate pool, hot tub not working. Still trying to figure out why some people were having a "tail gate party" in the parking lot, but they were quiet about it.

While the room was 'clean', there was a 'deodorant' type smell. I am very sensitive to smells so noticed it immediately. Fortunately it was not overwhelming and I was able to adjust. Super clean hotel, friendly staff. We only had 5 pillows in our double queen bedroom and I made sure to mention it when we checked out so we didn't get charged for the 'missing' pillow! They were glad I mentioned it. The towel rack by the bathroom sink needs to be tightened - it fell off when simply drying our hands. None of these minor items would keep us from going there again, but only if we are able to get the good price we got through hotels.com again!

room was small but very clean. very good rate. Prefer hot breakfast with eggs. good location.

Wasn't too impressed when I opened the door to the hotel & the front desk clerk was dressed in holey jeans & a nice blouse -- maybe she didn't think people would see her pants? Then got my key (no elevator here) for my 2nd floor room - opened the door and immediately smelled smoker residue. Either the previous guest DID smoke in the NS room or the staff did. Bed was comfortable Room faced the highway/interstate so there was highway noise but i turned on the fan to drown it out. Could hear people talking in the hallways, LOUDLY called desk at 230am - no answer. Price was right for the stay, no time to check out the pool.

The room was very clean and best of all, free breakfast.

This hotel was adorable and very clean and the location was very convenient for my trip. My only minor complaint would be that we needed another pillow and an extra towel, but other than that it was great!

Great hotel. I stay here everytime i'm in town for business. The rooms are clean & comfortable & you can't beat the price.

We always stay here when we are in town and have never been dissatified. The rooms are clean, the breakfast good, and the service and friendliness excellent.

For those with bad backs should have some rooms without pillowtop mattresses. Otherwise everything else was fine.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the AmericInn at Plover. It was pleasent, relaxing and a very comfortable place to stay for any traveling reason. We highly recomend it to anyone needing to travel to plover, we look forward to returning if we come in the area again.

This visit was the first to an AmericInn that we had, and we were very pleased with the design of the motel, the cleanliness and brightness of the lounge and our room, as well as the gracious provisions in the continental breakfast. We needed a simple place to spend the night at an affordable price, and this AmericInn was located in the right place and with a price that was very affordable. The motel staff was friendly and truly made our stay memorable.

Motel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Management was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast, spa, pool, and wifi. Close to food, gas, & shopping. Not 5 star, but highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was right off the expressway and easily accessible. Rooms were clean and a good size. Hotel wasn't extravagant but had tons of amenities. Breakfast the next morning was included and plentiful. I would stay here again.

The hotel was priced right, included a swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub,and a great breakfast. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. I will book with them again.

comfortable - quiet - and friendly staff!

Went to visit my kids at UW-Stevens Point. Wanted to give them a little respite from the dorm, shop for stuff they needed or wanted, and needed to bring the dog - very important since they miss the dog way more than they miss their parents! The hotel was great, the dog was invited, we swam, watched movies, cuddled up, had a great breakfast that we took back to the room and slept late with a late check-out time of 12:00 when we asked for it. Just what the doctor ordered and a great price just ten minutes from campus. Far enough to make the kids feel like they had a little vacation, close enough to get to a 2:00 matinee at the UW Theater, which was also really great. Fantastic and affordable mini-vacation. We will DEFINITELY do it again!

I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Breakfast was delicious. The entire hotel was very clean!

Everything was clean, breakfast was good, receptionists/managers very competent. Would definitely stay there again. Didn't use pool but looked inviting. Located near plenty of restaurants and stores, so convenient, and right off interstate 39.

Needed to stay overnight near Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and found this hotel in neighboring Plover. Comparable hotels in Stevens Point itself were at least $15-20 more per night, and it was only an extra 5-6 miles of driving to reach the friends we were visiting. Hotel was clean and homey feeling. Beds were comfortable. Pool was kind of small but I've seen smaller and we weren't there to swim anyway. Courteous staff. Hot self-serve breakfast was a plus!

Our stay was good. I felt like we were alittle to close to freeway and other traffic but....that is what you get when you book a motel right off of the freeway. It certainly is not any fault of the hotel. We always like Americinns. Room was very clean.

Comfortable and good value for price .
