The hotel's location is the big draw. Close to lifts and the village. The suites are small but well equipped except for the Murphy bed - very uncomfortable mattress and terrible pillows.

Skiing was the best part! Hotel was close to skiing! The bed was not great.

We purchased a queen bed and a pull out bet hotel room from hotels.com. When we arrived for check-in we were given a hotel room with one murphy pull out bed in it. We had to come back to the fron desk and request the room that we paid for with hotels.com. The two young women at the front desk noted that we would have to pay for an upgrade to get the queen bed and pull out bed hotel room. At first I nearly fell for it and then I thought to myself no Mountain side lodge allows Hotel.com to sell their hotel rooms and luckily we had our confirmation with us that clearly stated we should get a queen and pull-out bed. In the end I had to be very firm with the young women at the front desk and they did in the end agree with my position and gave me the proper room. These young women at the fron desk did not want to give me what i paid for through hotels.com and called hotels.com to say they were selling the wrong product on their website. I don't know who was playing games with this hotel reservation either hotels.com or Mountain side Lodge but it was not a very comfortable position to be placed in. Other than that we had a great weekend

Loved the Mountainside by Executive. Location is right at the bottom of the Blackcomb Gondola so it doesn't get any better than that. Room was clean and well appointed. Bed was a Murphy Bed and was comfortable, but not super comfortable - although very adequate. Staff very helpful, although we had a hard time figuring out how to check in as we had to check in at a different location on the village stroll. Very close to skiing, shopping, night life etc., but also quiet and lovely at night. Great!

Overall I found the Hotel quite good, however, the partnership between Executive Inn and The Mountain Side Hotel is a bit confusing, because when you arrive you are told to go down the street to check in at Executive Inn, not Mountain Side (Executive has use of half of Mountain Side Hotel) then go back to Mountain Side and the desk at Mountain Side is told not to help guests, but to tell them to call Executive Inn. Also, the Hotels.com voucher that I received said that breakfast was included, but I was told at the hotel that no such offer exsists, even though I had the voucher showing it. (overnight parking is overpriced as well at $20 per night)

We have been to Whistler numerous times, and the only thing we would have preferred was to have our room on the other side of the hotel due to noise after the bar. Otherwise, great location and great service.THANKS!

Like it except the pull out couch was the worst ever my daughter had to sleep on top of it. The toilet broke twice. Otherwise nice place loved the deck and pool and location, friendly staff

The hotel is right in the village, close to everything. The room was clean, kitchenette excellent! There was a fireplace in my room and it made for a really cozy atmosphere. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and that is the only drawback I can find.

Location of hotel was great for price! 5 minute walk to gondolas. The sauna in the upstairs loft was quite amazing! Hot tub and pool was good after a day on hill. Our room fit 3 guys comfortably

Inconvenient, loud, dated, and uncomfortable. The check-in desk is somewhere completely different than the hotel itself. I was looking forward to checking in and relaxing an hour before I had to be somewhere. After getting my keys and going back to the hotel, I then found out that my keys didn't work, so I had to wait for the agent to come over with new ones. After selecting "Queen" and not "Murphy bed", I ended up with a very uncomfortable Murphy bed... basically, like a pull-out couch. For most of the night, there were loud partiers outside my window. The decor/style was also very dated, and the pictures online don't really capture this. I wanted to complain on check-out, but I really just couldn't wait to leave. After finally leaving, I got a call that I didn't hand in my parking pass, so I had to turn around. The front desk should have been on top of this when I was checking out, but they all seemed like they were struggling with the basics. Terrible.

Check-in process (like many of the places in Whistler) was clunky...had to check-in across the way, and then back to the hotel. Room was cozy and loved the location. Would stay there again.

Comfortable

20$ for overnight parking!! Front desk a short distance from the hotel.No ice, expensive laundry, but good location, good price, good pool and hot tub, helpful staff.

It was a bit of a challenge to find amongst the Whistler buildings. It was a lovely room. Noisy at night but once we put on the fan it was fine. Would stay there again!
