Friday on the Beach - ביירון ביי

Friday's is a nice well run place in a great location, you can walk to everything Byron has to offer ... which is good as they don't do breakfast so it's down to Clarkes Beach for that. The place is clean, neat and tidy and really is just a minutes walk over the grass to the beach if you stroll. It is just far enough away from the centre to be quite but only a couple of minutes walk to the Beach Hotel. They do very tasty cakes for your arrival. Will stay there again. Only down side is the noise from other guests going up and down the stairs. Recommend an upstairs room or one to the very front.

My kids and I were happy with the location of the Hotel, right on the beach with a lawn in-between out the front. We could stroll barefoot to the beach and come back to our room in 2 minutes. We had a car (and a daughter on crutches) so drove to the main shopping area, but it would only be a short walk along the beachfront. The major problem for us was the free Wi-Fi that was only meant to be for one device per room, and the speed which was not great. The facelift is quite nice, but a rusty old bin in the small bathroom brought the overall fresh appearance right down. Friendly female office staff, a good sofa bed, a slice of cake upon arrival and enough space in our basic room for 3. We would stay here again for the location.

Enjoyed Byron Bay and very lively resort.

We had a very pleasant time, It was great that we just walk out the door and down to the beach. And the home made cake to have with our coffee was such a nice touch, It made you feel at home.
