It was like eveybody said. It was an older hotel in a great location. 3 star at best but the boardwalk was a great place to start and end your day. Parking was very difficult. I found a place in front of my hotel around midnight.I paid $79 a night which was about $ 10 too much plus you have to pay for parking that is not garaunteed. Cable went out bith nights but I wasn't there to watch tv. Very quiet at night..no problems sleeping.Bring your own food for breakfast.

Paint peeling on walls, holes, water leaking, blinds broken, internet did not work. Door knob did not work. Noisy beds. Sheets would not stay on bed. Internet said blue wave and they gave us another room at seaside. Told the office the internet was not working and the clerk came to our room. Could not get it to work and left. Did not return. Internet ad said one price and when we got there they charged us to park in the hotel parking lot.

The hotel is close to the beach, which was nice. The room was dirty and the sheets /pillow cases looked slept in. I had to go to the office and get a broom and a mop to sweep and mop the floor, it was full of sand and very dirty. Tables, chairs, bathroom was also dirty. Had to go to Wal-mart to get some Lysol wipes and wipe down the room. If you don't care about things like that, the price was good. No bed bugs (as far I know), aside from the cleanliness of the room our stay was good.

I grew up in Hollywood, FL so i was familiar with the area. It is a great area right next to the beach and boardwalk. I was disappointed in the room. There was hair everywhere. On the sheets, in the bathroom. Just gross. I have two babies so I did not feel comfortable for them to sleep on those sheets at all. The guy took forever to check us in, and there were no clean towels in the room. We had to call front desk to get some. Our close still smell like the nasty motel room smell even after washing them. Its an old, musty smell. I would not stay there again. The pool was ok though.

I was there for 8 days for Surgery and was not satisfied. When we arrived we booked a pool view room and ended up In a room facing a brick wall and in another part of the blue wave called the flamingo. I book thur hotels.com and wasn't aware there's a $10 a day parking fee.. Wow!! So I had to give up a extra $80 or park or the street for $35 a day... I couldn't believe it. The sheets where disgusting. I found something on my pillow(sticky jelly) the first night. So I ended up buying my sheets from a target down the block. There was no maids to bring towels so I had to go back in fourth for towels in pain.. The location is the only good thing about this hotel.. Stay at your own risk. You pay for what u get!!!

We stayed one night and had a blast! Check in was so easy, Natasha was fast and friendly and our room was immaculate.

Loved our visit to Hollywood Beach and the Blue Wave hotel. John in the office was great and very accommodating.

Reserved room at Blue Wave, but did not stay there. Blue Wave part of hotel group called Hollywood Beach Hotels but room was actually at Flamingo. Blue Wave was next door and we would have preferred to get what we thought we were actually reserving. The room was fine, very clean, but if it had been an extended stay, would have been disappointed to not be where we thought we were going to be.

i highly recommend this propery. parking is a lttle tight and charged but the hotel is worth it. large clean rooms with tile floors. care-worn furniture but comfortable. and steps from the beach

Eneste positive med dette hotellet er beliggenheten. At dette 'hotellet' har fått 2,5 stjerner er en gåte. Hotellet er gammelt og dårlig vedlikeholdt. Rommet var stort, men dårlig møblert og stygt dekorert. Rommet føltes skittent. Tynne, tynne sengeklær med hull. Mildt sagt enkel frokost. Neste gang betaler vi gladelig mer for et annet og bedre hotell!

Het hotel ligt praktisch naast de boulevard (strand) iets ten zuiden van het vliegveld en Port Everglade. Het hotel heeft een mooie grote kamer met zelfs een kookgelegenheid. De juiste straal en temperatuur vinden in de douche was het enige minpunt. Het ontbijt had niet veel om het lijf, maar je kan de dag starten zonder eerst te hoeven zoeken naar een loctie waar je je ontbijt kan nuttigen. Voor de kamer staan (schommel) stoelen waar je rustig je ontbijtje kan nuttigen of een sigaretje kan roken. Het hotel heeft drie kleine zwembaden die bij duisternis mooi zijn verlicht. Het strand en een mooie boulevard liggen om de hoek evenals een opstappunt voor de watertaxi die je naar het centrum van Fort Lauderdale brengt (een aanrader).
